Below is a portion of the note that the buyers of my brother's home received from me at settlement:
"I am the seller on behalf of my brother’s estate and thought that it would be appropriate to give you a head start on lawn care (2 acres is a job). My brother had used Charae Landscaping services for several years and I can attest that they have been prompt, professional and great to work with over the past year that I’ve worked with them."
It should be noted that I added additional services, trimming shrubbery, etc., prior to putting the house/property on the market. Charae arrived the next morning to fulfill this request. Two thumbs up!

We hired Charae Landscaping for some basic landscape maintenance (mulching, bush and tree trimming, weeds removal and yard clean-up) and couldn't be happier with the results. They did so much more than we expected to make our yard look perfect. The folks are professional and honest. They did great job at a great price. I cannot say enough good things about them. Would definitely recommend!

Contacted Charae Landscaping to remove 2 mounds of dirt from large planters I removed. I initially spoke with Katie who was so nice and, you could hear her smile through the phone. She answered my questions and sent me the information to complete the job when she stated she would. My job was scheduled and they came out yesterday and completed. It looks great and I can’t wait to see the grass begin to grow. I will post before and after once my grass grows. I would recommend their services. Thank You

I'm helping my elderly parents by getting estimates to replace their wood retaining wall in their backyard because it's rotting. Doug Roland (manager) from Charae Landscaping came out to my parent's house to look at the job in the beginning of April and took measurements. Several weeks later I received an estimate sent by Doug from Chuck Roland (owner of company) for the job totaling $1,850. I called and spoke to Doug stating I wanted to move forward with the job and he told me Chuck wants to come out and tighten the measurements. Chuck came out a week later to look at the job, but strangely enough he didn't take measurements when he came out. I called Doug and he told me because the price of wood has gone up, the estimate would be increased, at the very most, by $100. In the meantime, I followed up with Doug numerous times to find out when Chuck was going to come out. I decided to call Chuck myself. I called Chuck to see if he came out and said he did. I had to wait two more weeks for Chuck to come out again (less than 10 minutes from my parents' house) and take measurements. Chuck told me the new estimate would be over $2,600! I asked him what happened to the original quote of $1,850. Chuck replied "It was a mistake." I then asked him why do you have employees coming out and giving estimates when your company doesn't honor them. He said "He is inexperienced and still learning." Then I asked about the max $100 increase Doug quoted for me. Chuck replied "That was another mistake." I then challenged him by saying "I can't believe a company would send an estimate and then change it. Let alone by more than $600 dollars." Chuck said "People make mistakes all the time. What do you want me to do? Honor your estimate and lose money? How about I send you a bouquet of flowers? Or I'll tell you what, I will put you on the schedule 2 to 3 years from now."

Chuck Roland and Charae Landscaping have no integrity and no respect for speaking to potential customers/people. Do yourself a favor and take your landscaping needs elsewhere.

We have been using these folks for 4 yrs. Every service was done well. The owner Chuck is a great guy. Very friendly and easy to work with. The office folks are great too. You would be making a great choice using these folks. Thank you so much.

We have had Chuck and the guys do a few landscaping projects and grass cutting on our property. They always do a great job and are priced right. We will continue to give them our business!

I can’t say enough about what a wonderful job they did putting in our patio and walkway. The workers were so professional and talented. They were here every day on time and worked so hard from beginning to end of the project. They were kind and patient with our houseful of kids! The end result is beautiful!!

Very negative experiences since last fall, between language barriers with the teams they send, inconsistent work, and unprofessional text messages. Finally, after we waited since March (two months) for our bimonthly weeding to start, they just informed us that they are full and can’t come at all.

They aggressively solicit reviews, so I would not trust the positive ones.

Edited to add in response: I was not contacted once between March and May, despite being supposedly on the list to get the work done, and leaving at least one message to follow up in April. The work included a spring cleanup, so it does fit the parameters of the services you offer. Regarding my initial positive review, we had mostly good experiences with the guys who came out last spring/summer, who were very hardworking and knew the plants well. Things went downhill in the fall with fewer guys coming out and an insurmountable language barrier. The last team of two guys did not understand what they were supposed to do at all, and I couldn’t explain it in Spanish. I called in hopes that the office could tell them they are supposed to do a fall cleanup including weeds and cut down dead perennials but not trim shrubbery, and the office apparently was not able to communicate this to them. They left with the job incomplete. We decided to give them another chance this year, but now we were left hanging entirely. So my review has changed to accurately reflect the service that we experienced.

Overall great experience and excellent work so happy with my services will definitely use Marshall landscaping again !

My father was in the hospital and I needed someone to cut his grass regularly for a couple of months. They have an extremely user-friendly app to schedule appointments and pay, The team did a great job on the lawn- extremely professional, excellent price and superb customer service.

I would like to thank Shawn and his crew for a wonderful job on my landscaping yesterday. Marshall did all of my original hardscape throughout the property and I needed them to come back and do a repair on my landscaping due to a woman running up on my property and destroying some of the landscaping right in the front of my home. We had multiple jobs completed in one go: landscaping, hardscaping, water flow management, etc. Shawn listened to our requests carefully and promptly prepared an estimate for us that accurately described our plan in detail. The quote is an excellent reference document.

The crew arrived on time each day. They were courteous and made excellent use of their time. All work areas were kept clean. The hardscaping was phenomenal. Excellent craftsmanship!

Highly recommended. Professionalism, communication and attention to detail are superb. Our yard has never looked so good. After dealing with a lot of landscape companies who don't communicate and don't show up when they say, dealing with Marshall is such a joy. Just had them do a spring cleanup and they basically took the yard apart and put it back together so its perfect. Again, I can't recommend them enough.

Great experience and results. Less than three weeks from quote acceptance to job completion, including all punchlist items. This included the addition of three change orders on the fly. Pricing was fair and the work resulted in a beautiful transformation of the rear yard from a poorly-graded patchwork lawn to a well-graded, instant lawn with a Belgian block border. Looks awesome. Team also did other lawn repair work and large tree maintenance. The on-site team were polite, personable, professional and extremely hard-working. Thanks to all!

I used Marshall’s landscaping for weekly grass cutting I really did appreciate them cutting my grass every week on a Wednesday they did an amazing job and for $37 a week you can’t beat that I appreciate everything they did and hope they will be able to pick me back up again in the spring they really did a great job god bless the Marshall team

I needed some snow removal, I reached out to this company and had a quick response and they came out within the hour to remove the snow, I would highly recommend them, very professional and affordable

We contacted Marshall Landscaping to help us modify our pavers patio. It was like working with a a jig saw puzzle made of brick pavers, as we had to extend the pavers installed 11 years ago and wanted it to look like it had always been that way.

Shawn and his team were here on time, and finished the job in one day. We asked for a modification mid-day and they happily added that work to our job.

I will use this fine team again next year with another project. I'd recommend you check them out for any outdoor project.
