Yes, the inspection is a little bit pricey, about two ninety nine for a visit, but they said it will be adjusted when they are hired to fix it, so let's see...

However I was happy with the service.

Juno from EnergyAid was very good. We have a 3 year old Sunpower system which is not functioning properly. It says there is no PG&E power when there is power, all my appliances with clocks show the time as 6 minutes fast in just 2 hours on battery, my lights are frequently flickering because for 2-3 seconds the system thinks the power went out.
Juno checked the power to verify it was good, he checked all the connections and tightened several in my sub panel, he checked the solar panels on the roof to verify they were all producing electricity. While he was doing this he was explaining what he was doing and why. I was also very happy that EnergyAid bumped us up in the schedule since we were experiencing all these issues this morning. Now waiting for EnergyAid to come up with a fix since we know PG&E is not the problem.

Mani is great. He came. He explored the problem. He contacted LG and determined the problem is with the battery itself.
Enregyaid on the other hand is quite frustrating. they use a bot to answer the phone and they can't keep track of appointments. It took more than several calls to actually talk to a human and then even more to make an appointment. They get two stars... Mani gets four.

Spencer is a nice guy who took pics that, 62 days later, Chris, the Enphase guy said he didn't look at and didn’t know anything about. After both visits, we were out a couple thousand and still had no way to monitor our solar production. I was able to connect after spending 75 minutes on a phone call to Enphase to convince him to link our address and site number to the app. The process works but there is no central office and the various people involved have never met. All told, about 20 Energy Aid reps contacted us and none of them had heard of the others or could confirm anything.

The original installers of our solar system Told me that it was virtually impossible to get a warranty replacement of the Solar Edge inverter that had failed. They kept me waiting for five weeks, and then tried to sell me a $13,000 “upgrade”. I contacted EnergyAid. They properly diagnosed the system two days later. Within two weeks they installed a new Solar Edge inverter, under warranty. Excellent service and workmanship.

The technician was very courteous and respectful. He was knowledgeable and explained the service issues thoroughly. I now need to wait until the company contacts LG so they can get back to me with a service date.

Nicholas was great, very polite. He examined our system and said it was fine just our reporting box was off. Explained everything so we could understand and helped us make plans so we could stay in touch with the system.

The installed system’s vendor was no longer in business. I reached out to Energy Aid and they worked collaboratively with me to resolve the matter successfully!

My customer care manager was Tim. He was wonderful to work with and found a convenient time slot almost 2 weeks earlier than originally scheduled. I was very appreciative. My technician was Nicholas S. Nicholas was so knowledgeable and professional. The work was done well. He took the time to explain everything thoroughly. This has been one of the best "home maintenance" experiences I have ever had.
