Fence Contractor reviews across the US

Great experience with Premier! They handled our HOA requirements, adapted to our uneven lot, and even moved up our install date. The crew was fast, professional, and responsive to questions and feedback. Pricing was fair, competitive, and exactly as quoted. We’re very happy with our new fence - highly recommend!

I had an absolutely amazing experience with Premier Fence Company from start to finish! The communication was outstanding, the price was fair, and the quality of the work was exceptional. The fence turned out gorgeous — exactly what I wanted and more.

Cole, our salesman, was wonderful to work with. He was always prompt, responsive, and incredibly helpful throughout the entire sales process, getting all my questions answered quickly and professionally.

Brian, the project foreman, was equally impressive. He was extremely knowledgeable and took the time to walk us through everything — before the project started, mid-way through, and again at the end to ensure we were completely satisfied. His attention to detail and professionalism gave me total confidence in the process.

The installation team was friendly, patient, and efficient, completing the entire job in just one day while maintaining excellent quality. They truly went above and beyond to meet our needs, and I can’t say enough good things about the entire experience.

Premier Fence Company exceeded every expectation — I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a beautiful fence and top-tier service!

This is our second time using Premier Fencing and we had another excellent experience! They were very responsive from the first call through the installation. They provided a quote quickly and were very fairly priced (even slightly less than two other companies we had quote) and were incredibly professional & pleasant from start to finish. They also had a quick turn around for the installation date which they moved up of their own accord because of potential incoming weather. Truly could not be more pleased or recommend them more highly. They are the absolute BEST and we will definitely use them again and recommend them to everyone we know.

Andy, Jason and their crew did a fantastic job with our fence! They were so polite, friendly and professional. The entire process (from estimate to installation) was very quick and easy. I was concerned about my sloped yard and how we could make this possible, but they worked their magic and made this happen. I was so impressed with the cost and installation. My puppies are so happy to have this freedom now. I really can’t say enough about them. Highly recommend!! Thank you again for your hard work today!

Got 5 quotes for a fence project in Virginia Beach and selected Top Rail from Richmond . Both the owner and the local representatives answered in detail all my questions and concerns. Crew arrived from Richmond and completed the job in less than two days! Cleaned up everything. Amazing job. Highly recommend! Great price and quality.
Thank you. George Manolov

Really happy with our new fence! They came by multiple times to make sure the estimate was right, scheduled the work, and got it knocked out quickly! Love how sturdy it is and the privacy it provides! Thanks a ton!

I had 5 quotes to install a fence at our new home. When Bob showed up he was extremely helpful in designing the fence and explaining the process. Bob worked around our schedule to accommodate our needs.
The gentlemen that installed the fence were extremely professional and courteous they cleaned up everything at the end of each day and took extreme pride in their work. It was a wonderful experience from start to finish I highly recommend Top Rail fencing I promise you will not be disappointed.

Bob and his crew were phenomenal. The crew arrived and I was thoroughly convinced that they would not finish my new fence in one day. Boy, did they show me ! The crew performed like a well oiled machine and finished it all.... Including clean up. Without any reservations I would recommend Top Rail to anyone looking for new fencing. My wife and I and our goats thank you !!!

I had a top rail fence install. This for me was a year adventure. I had companies not show up, price to high, some companies were not professional. Top Rail displayed none of these negative traits. The entire experience was a pleasure. The crew was knowledgeable and patient with me answering all my questions. The project was fairly priced. I highly recommend top rail. Im pleased with the work and the professional work.

I had Top Rail install a fence in my backyard and it looks incredible. The team stayed all day until it was completed and up to their standards. They cleaned up the dirt that was dug up for the posts after they were done and made sure I was happy. Definitely recommend them!

I could not be any happier with our new fence from Top Rail Fence. I received several estimates and Bob Stewart had the best pricing by far. We are super pleased with the results and highly recommend Top Rail Fence Richmond.

The name should be TOP NOTCH!!! Bob (Owner) and team were EVERYTHING. I am doing a major renovation inside and out so you can imagine the effort and stress! Bob was responsive, his price was amazing and he made it a point to work with my other contractors to ensure we stayed on schedule. I am beyond pleased and even more thankful to have met and worked Bob. If you need a fence, dont hesitate to call Top Rail. You can thank me later. Pictures attached

The Butchers

From start to finish, Top Rail Fence was a pleasure to work with. The estimator...Jack... was very courteous and professional. The owner...Bob Stewart... was also very friendly and professional. The installation crew did a great job ! I would highly recommend Top Rail for your fencing project!

Top Rail Fence was fantastic with the fence installation process! My wife and I had about 260 linear feet of fence installed and they were able to quickly get everything done despite the difficult terrain in my backyard.

Bob (the owner) is also a straight shooter with the whole process. He gave us a fair quote and didn't up charge things like one of the other bigger contractors we got a quote from.

The whole process was very quick as well since I was working/communicating directly with Bob. From the time he came out to give an estimate to the time the guys were packing up after the install was only about four weeks (and they could have probably done it faster but we had to get a permit and HOA approval).

I'd definitely recommend them for your fencing needs.

Bpb Stewart and Top Rail Fence provided stellar services!! From the quote to the job completion and the payment process, everything was superb!!
Mr. Stewart worked with me and the vision and the guys came right in to bring it to fruition. I HIGHLY recommend Top Rail if you have any type of build, repair or replace fencing work.
Give them a call and tell them JL sent you. I guarantee YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!!!

I used Bob Stewart (owner of Top Rail Fence) and his crew several years ago to install over 400’ of fence and 3 gates. His crew did an outstanding job at an incredible price; and they far exceeded my expectations!! Since then, I did a large backyard project where a different construction contractor came in and busted up my large double-gate and about 50’ of fence. I knew if I wanted it repaired and/or replaced correctly, the only person I would call is Bob. Bob came out the next day to assess the problem; then his crew was there within a few days and had everything looking brand new and aligned perfectly within one day. I thought I was going to replace most of the fencing due to the damage; however, Bob’s crew was able to salvage most of the damaged fence to the point where it literally looks like no damage was ever done, saving me thousands of dollars. When his crew completed the job, they took their time explaining everything they did and made sure I was 100% satisfied before they left. There is a reason why Bob has hundreds of 5-Star reviews; and if you need any sort of fence, installation, or maintenance, look no further than Bob and his crew with Top Rail Fence. Exceptional work at an exceptional price, and always putting the customer first. Thank you again Bob and Team!!

We recently used Top Rail to put a wood privacy fence around our backyard. The owner, Bob Stewart, was outstanding to work with from our initial meeting to the end of the project. The crew that handled our project were very hard workers, conscientious and professional. We are very pleased with the final product. I highly recommend Top Rail.

We also wanted to stain our fence. Top Rail easily gave us the best estimate. We worked with Tanner on this job and we are very pleased with the results and his work. I see many stain jobs that look fake or artificial. I felt the stain on our fence is very natural. I like I can still see the grain on the wood. Highly recommend.

I can’t say enough great things about Bob and his team. They were very professional from start to finish. We are happy with our new gate and appreciated the fair pricing. I would definitely recommend Bob to any friends and neighbors.

We had a beautiful privacy fence installed by Top Rail, and the entire experience was fantastic. Bob, the owner, is very communicative and was available for questions throughout the entire process. The price was very competitive with other quotes we got, and Bob's genuine care and attention to detail made us feel confident to choose Top Rail.

We are thrilled with the results and highly recommend Top Rail for fencing needs.

Quick. Top quality gate. A pleasure to do business with. Bob and Tanner are amazing. Will definitely use Top Rail again for any fencing needs.
