In 2022 we had to have a large hole sawed in a hundred-year-old hardwood floor to repair a sewer pipe underneath it. We hired A+ to repair the damage to the floor.

Johan was very easy to work with and was very knowledgable. The job took a couple of days and the floor really did look great when it was done. They did a quality job at a good price.

Johan and his team did such a good job! He was quick to come out to the house to give an estimate, always answered me texts and calls, and did his work quickly and well. His price was also extremely reasonable. We would absolutely use him again and highly recommend him! Here are some before and after pictures, the floors look brand new!

I am FLOORED!! Johan & team absolutely blew me away with they work they did refinishing the floors in just one day! I met with several different providers, and Johan blew me away with how kind he was and easy the he made the process. This is my first time undertaking a project like this, which made me a bit nervous, but as soon as I met Johan I felt at complete ease. He asked the right questions, wasn’t overwhelming, and did phenomenal work at a competitive rate. 1000/10

I could not speak more highly of Johan and his team’s work. I called Johan for a wood floor refinishing estimate which was the best quote I received. Thus I chose to use Johan based on his positive rating online and his charisma. They were able to mostly finish it all up in one day and came back the next for some final touches/coat. The price was exactly what he quoted and the floors turned out great. You could really tell Johan is a hard worker and cares about his craft. 10/10 cannot speak more highly of his character and work.

Johan and his crew were amazing. We had a leak that ruined our floors. We hired a big name company that did a terrible job. Didn’t match our stairs with the rest of the floors. We called Johan to get our floors redone. Johan came out the same day to provided an estimate. He got started a week later and fixed our floors in less than a week. He was able to sand and stain our floors with the most perfect color and gloss. We couldn’t be happier and would recommend him 100%. His pricing was 1/3 what we paid prior company but the work was 100 times better. If you’re looking to get your floors done please look no further!

Johan and his team transformed our new home’s staircase! The original staircase was posing a safety issue for our small children so we wanted to replace it with something safer and something that would be visually appealing since it’s in the center of our main floor. I showed them a photo of how I wanted it to look and they brought it to life. Johan’s carpenter, Andres, did incredible work. The team was very detail oriented, kind, and professional. They knew the previous staircase and the active construction zone were safety concerns for our kids and they did an amazing job finishing in two day, working into the evening, so that we could get back to normal life. They also fit us in very quickly after contacting them which was a big sigh of relief for us. I highly recommend this team!

Johan and I entered into a contract for the installation of hardwood floor in my main and guest bedroom. He came to my home to inspect the property and after three emails confirming he could, indeed, get the job completed in five days, I mistakingly chose to hire him. On day one he said he didn’t know there was concrete under the carpet (why didn’t you look when you came to my home to bid the project?) so the cost would be higher than quoted because he would need to purchase plywood. He never mentioned a time delay. Then, the morning of my scheduled return I texted with him to confirm we were on schedule. Johan replied that he was behind schedule with the main bedroom but that my toddler and I could sleep in her room because that room had been completed. When I arrived at my home less than four hours later his employee was putting down a coat of varnish in my daughter’s room that burned our eyes to such extreme we had to run out the front door. To shorten a long and horrible experience, I was forced to stay at a hotel, with no notice, for an additional five nights. I returned to my home to find baseboards, doorways (that furniture had been moved through) and wall art severely damaged. After he threatened me I felt obligated to pay him the remainder of the initial quote with no reimbursement for hotel costs even though he had agreed to pay them. I don’t understand how his reviews were so positive. Perhaps this is the start of the decline of his business. All he had to do was communicate and this all could have been an avoided.

Johan and his team did a wonderful job sanding and restaining the floors in my condo. The price was reasonable, and they stayed within the budget and finished earlier than expected. Also the floors look great!

Johan and team are amazing. They were quick and our floors look incredible. So easy to work with and came overultiple times before starting the job. Only issue is our downstairs looks so good we probably need to resurface upstairs.

Johan and his crew were incredibly easy to work with from the very beginning. Johan visited my apartment, thoroughly reviewed every part of my floor, and explained the necessary repairs and recommended the best solutions for my type of flooring. He was meticulous, thorough, and exceptionally clean throughout the process.

They covered my kitchen cabinets and appliances, moved furniture to access every corner of my wood floor, and even matched my bedroom floors perfectly. Initially, I was concerned that he wouldn’t be able to replicate my current stain, but he exceeded my expectations and left my floor looking exactly like it used to.

In just two days, Johan and crew completed the entire renovation, leaving my apartment spotless on the way out. I highly recommend Johan for any floor refinishing project. He’s an exceptional person and a highly dedicated worker. My wife and I were thoroughly impressed with the final product.

Really appreciate the work! Johan and his partner were so responsive, and did a great job. This was a patch job to replace an area of floor beneath my (previously) sinking radiator. Everything, from receiving the quote, scheduling the work, and the completion of the work were all done in under a week! Johan was absolutely top-notch. We have an older home with original hardwood floors, and he was incredibly knowledgeable about how to properly refinish and repair them. In addition to sanding and refinishing, he identified and replaced several boards that were rotting, which made a huge difference in both the look and the integrity of the floors. He explained what needed to be fixed versus what could be preserved, which we really appreciated.

He came out the same day I called to give a quote, started work within two days, and finished everything within the same week. The floors now look beautiful — smooth, even, and consistent — while still keeping the character of an older house. His workmanship was excellent, the price was very reasonable, and he left the place clean when he was done.

If you have an older home and want someone who does more than just a cosmetic refinish, Johan is your guy. We couldn’t be happier with the results and would absolutely hire him again.
