Joey, with Pool Kings of Apollo Beach, was so knowledgeable and forthcoming from day one. He was actually recommended to us by another pool service that didn’t have availability. The quality, dependability and customer service exceeded my expectations. A reliable and friendly pool tech that truly takes pride in the work and customers was the experience we had with Joe! We bought our 4 yr old pool home 18 months ago and continued with the weekly pool service providers used by the prior owners.
This summer when our auto vacuum died we were advised they only last about 3 yr so we should buy a new one- $1,500. So we did manual vacuuming.
Last week we were advised by the weekly pool test tech that the salt level in our pool was low so a service tech would come out to troubleshoot the issue. The decision was that it could be the salt cell -$1,500 or the pool control panel-$2,000 or BOTH!
We contacted Joe, owner of Pool Kings of Apollo Beach for a second opinion and he came out the next day.
While he cleaned the salt cell and the cartridge filter he educated us on salt water pool equipment, warranties and maintenance.
When he was done everyting was working again, including our auto vacuum!
Joe is all about pool maintenance, customer education and satisfaction!
If you need new equipment he is able to recommend products for you to purchase and if needed will install it for you, but he is not a product sales person looking for a profit.

Joe of Pool Kings is amazing. I called him today to ask about black algae in my pool. He said he was in the area and would stop by. He spend over 30 minutes scrapping the black algae with a wire brush, and then added strong chemical to help dissolve it. I am not even a customer of his but he did this as a friendly gesture to help a neighbor. Won't find too many business folks with this type of service. He said he will even come back and check the progress in two days.

Pool Kings of Apollo Beach is the Best! Joey is my neighbors pool guy but has always been friendly and helpful everytime I have asked him questions. Our salt cell was failing and he helped me get my pool cleaned and up and running again. Every time I ask him a question he goes above and beyond educating me how to take care of my pool.
