Reviews of local pros in Bokeelia, Florida

Very professional and hard working crew, they worked well together. They planted 3 Royal Palms, unfortunately 1 palm was not well and they came to replace it. My husband and I are very happy with there services.I would highly recommend them.

These guys are the best! We shopped several of the Pine Island and Bokeelia nursery companies and growers and A. Gonzales Landscaping was who we went with. Their prices were better than anybody else. Their service and willingness to help us define what we needed was amazing. Their plants are beautiful and healthy. And on-site? They made sure that everything was exactly as we wished as they delivered and installed our plants and trees. Can't recommend them highly enough!

Absolutely recommend - prompt - easy to work with - good design ideas - great job on the install - very reasonably priced. Anxious to do another project with them.

Large selection of plants and trees, reasonable prices, super friendly and fast turnaround for planting them at our house. We’ve used their services twice and both times they were helpful in choosing the right plants and palms and had them planted within a week. They also do landscaping and ripped out our old plants and gravel replacing it with better looking plants and gravel. Our jobs ranged from $500 to $1600. I would not hesitate to use them again.

We were going to have to make several trips off the island in our small SUV to pick up enough stone to do the job we needed. But when passing by we saw the piles of stone they had outside. We talked to Jose and were able to not only get the stone delivered within a few hours of talking to him, but also at an amazing price! Probably about a quarter of what we would have spent at Lowe's off the island! Thank you so much!!

Took the money, cleared the check, never delivered the plants promised. Now does not answer the phone

My husband and I purchased 15 Podacarpus today. So friendly. Healthy plants!!

Domingo and his team did an AMAZING JOB! Very hardworking and honest! Kept everything clean when they were done for the day and truly transformed our home!!! Thank you SO much!!!

Built the house I live in. I’m forever grateful!

Absolutely one of the best contractors to work with!

Very professional, and help build the school playground.

Project completed on time and met my expectations. loved the experience with J. F. Smith.

Absolutely fantastic experience! Very reliable. Highly recommend for any building or renovation needs.

J F Smith team did a fantastic job on our home remodel, they are the best!

A great company that stands behind their work. Would highly recommend if you are looking for a first class home built to exacting standards.

We had a tricky roof issue that other contractors wouldn’t touch. Joe's carpenters figured it out and got it done right. Couldn’t be happier. 🙂

The team at J.F. Smith builds with integrity and intention. Joe's attention to detail, and the personalized care from his crew are second-to-none. Highly recommend!

Joe and his crew are some of the kindest people I’ve had the pleasure of working with. They perfectly recreated my vision and I’m forever grateful to them for helping me in a time of need.

Joe and the team were awesome. We were nervous doing a build while living out of state, but he handled everything smoothly. Would 100% hire again :)

Joe has been around since the dawn of Pine Island and has an extreme knowledge base which he does great work off of. He has seen all of the natural disasters that have been thrown at the island. After talking with him, he knows how to build specialized houses that survive in the face of these storms. If you’re looking for quality that lasts, then these are the right people for the job.

J F Smith Bulding Contractors built our custom home in Matlacha in 2018, and it's been nothing short of exceptional. Over the years, our home has withstood three hurricanes—without a single drop of water intrusion. That kind of craftsmanship and structural integrity is rare, and we’re beyond grateful. From day one, the team was professional, communicative, and deeply committed to getting everything just right. Their attention to detail and pride in their work shine through in every corner of our home. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for a builder who delivers true peace of mind.
