I've called this company numerous times letting them know that every time they put pesticide down they do not put little flags down to let people with pets know to keep them off their lawn I've called the company a couple of times nothing was ever done I've told managers they were on site in regards today people putting pesticide down and not putting flags and still nothing got done I will not use this company if it if they were the last company on Earth and I don't recommend that you do .horrible horrible work ethic.

One of the best Landscaping companies I have used in my 12 years of being an association manager. Prompt, reliable, communicative and proactive. Could ask for little more!

Lost the contract for the communal areas of my development then offloaded all private customers. Say they wrote to tell me - never got a letter and as I am a non-US citizen I didn't find out until I next visited 3 months later - to find the grass a mess, lots of weeds, shrubs unpruned and the pop up sprinklers they'd checked regularly not working (and hadn't been for some time).
Had to ring and ask for a refund as I'd paid 12 months in advance.
    Poor service

They re-sodded my St. Augustine lawn. The sod they used looked healthy and they made sure my sprinkler system was setup properly to water in the sod. The manager John Shomo even took the time to answer all my questions and even gave me advice on keeping the lawn healthy year-around. It's been two years and I have arguably the best looking lawn in the community.

Westcoast has been incredibly responsive, knowledgeable and easy to work with. They provide landscape services for several communities I manage and I've always had success working with them. Communication and customer service are clearly a priority within this organization. Kudos to Bruce for being reliable and making my job easier through prompt follow up and communication!

We had a reoccurring erosion problem in our backyard, called Westcoast Landscape & Lawn and spoke to John Shomo. John was so helpful and came to our home to evaluate the problem. He suggested a drainage system that would direct the water out of the yard. John would call and give us updates on his schedule and kept us informed the entire way. The workers came on time, did the beautifully job and cleaned up the area they were working on. We really appreciate the work they did and the professionalism of the staff. I would absolutely recommend Westcoast Landscape & Lawn to everyone!!!!

Started in our community September 1st and not off to a good start. Sprayed pesticide and herbicide application right off and my lawn has never looked so bad. The are working two days in the community, left my yard half mowed today. Looks great having company over tonight. Also been working on the irrigation system and looks like they put it all back the way the found it? Covers not set back correctly, piles of dirt left, that’s not how it looked prior to them working on it. Needless to say this is going to be a long year ahead! Promise to do a great job and always goes from bad to worse! UPDATE 9/19/23 - have the tags in place so they won’t trim as I do my own plant trimming. They trimmed it anyway, guess they do whatever they want… UPDATE 3/12/24 - Trimming queen palms in the community, leaving 3-4 fronds will create nutrient deficiency and stress. They are clueless on palm care, stripping foxtails that require no trimming as they are self cleaning and old leaf just fall off. Picture attached of their wonderful job 👎🏻
UPDATE 4/18/24 - consistently misses mowing my entire lawn. Entire side of lawn between neighbors house. Broke my solar light panel off also. See attached pictures.

He did a GREAT JOB replacing some of our shrubs that died and then trimmed and fertilized the rest if our shrub beds. I would Highly Recommend Ryan and Landscape Rescue.

Landscape rescue is just okay, planted several plants for us and rather than spreading the mulch out evenly around the plants, just dumped shovel loads near the plants. Not a professional job at all. We wouldn’t use his services again.

Great communication and showed up when promised. I would definitely use Landscape Rescue again. Update 12/13/2023: We had them do our mulch again this year. Great experience again.

We contracted with Landscape Rescue for our very small yard in Bradenton. We explained that we were interested in weekly maintenance but also designing and planting flowering shrubs and ground cover, as well as moving around several plants in our front yard. Ryan agreed and we went over options for ground cover that would scale an exterior wall as well as flowering bushes and decorative grass for the front planting areas. I explained to Ryan that I needed to pay on a schedule that coincided with pay weeks and Ryan was fine with that. Not a problem. The third month, Ryan skipped our house because he did not receive payment yet...this was after I had spoken with him and told him it would be paid the following friday. This month, same thing. I wind up paying extra for his "fees" because the payment is late, and he skips us. So I lose a week of maintenance. He also informed me a week or so ago that he was no longer going to be doing the plantings and mulching we had discussed. So basically, I was out of luck. I just think that when you're hired to do a job, that it should be done, and if you say you can work with someone on payments...you should mean it. I cannot recommend this company to anyone.
