After Hurricane Ian, we have to move out of our home. We purchased a Travel Trailer and needed an electrical service outlet to run power to it. I called Mike explained to him that I just purchased the Trailer and they were going to deliver it the next day. Knowing he's super busy, he still found a time to slip me in between a few jobs close by our home. Showed up, in & out like a flash! Why use anyone else? Gault Electric South ROCKS it AGAIN!

Have used Gault Electric since moving to the island on the Refferal from previous owners of our house. Very professional and first rate work. Have a home and rental on the island and Mike and staff have done quite a bit of work including rewiring our dock. I’m sure there have not been enough hours in a day to field all the calls for service following the visit by hurricane Ian and I’m certain there needed to be a certain amount of prioritization. “No power where one lives” probably outranks “ I need a dimmer installed on the Lanai”’

Glad I moved here and this company reflects why we chose Pine Island over Vegas.

We called Mike Gualt on a Saturday afternoon of a holiday weekend as the breaker to our master bedroom outlets flipped off and would not reset. I thought we might have to go without power and lights in the bedroom until he could come the following week. He was very quick to respond and came out immediately to assess. Luckily, it was just a faulty breaker which he retrieved and installed to solve our problem. We have used Mike's services previously to rewire our boat lift and install a generator connection. He is always quick to respond, very thorough and efficient. We are so very glad to have found him! We highly recommend Gault Electric South.

We had an issue with our breaker box and couldn't find anyone to come out to take a look. Mike was referred to us and he was there the next day. No price gouging here! He looked at the breaker box, tested the fuses, and looked for the source of the problem. He is absolutely amazing ! We will definitely look to use him again for all our electrical needs.

Mike Gault and his team fixed numerous electrical projects at our home in St James City including new service, dock lights,boat lift wiring, sprinkler wiring etc. He was on time, the workmanship was impeccable! He and his crew were on time, polite and respectful at all times. Thank you Mike!

Decent work but overpriced in my opinion. I just had a lift instal done by another company and it was almost 4x the cost of the outlet but required 9 man hours to complete. I thought that bill was reasonable.

Had Mike come by our house to perform electrical work in our bathroom. After owning a service business and retiring I am always grading customer service. Gault Electric South impressed me by their knowledge, professionalism, and good old customer service by going out of their way to assure things were correctly working and complete. Five Stars to Mike and his company!

Been exposed to the work of a lot of electricians over the years, but none compare to the attention to detail and quality of their work of Gault Electric South and their crew. When you couple their work with the customer service, professionalism and positive attitudes, they were a joy to work with. They were referred by our dock builder and we couldn't be happier with how responsive they were and the quality of work and quality of materials they used on our dock. Even to the point of putting higher quality screws when installing brackets and hardware to prevent issues caused by salt water and cheap screws. They also heat bent all the conduit so it looked very neat and professional as it circumvented corners and dock ropes. Highly recommend and will use them again in the future.

Waste of time trying to make appts with them. Direct line goes one guy's cell and he is always too busy to get anything straight. Yeah, he's local, but he is also full of his own self-importance.

In Response - I'm sure you are right, and the calls telling us you would arrive in 10 min instead of at an actual appt time are perfectly acceptable for Electricians. In fact, I have worked with just about every vendor on this island for over a decade and yours was the ONLY one that preferred heads up calls like this instead of just normal appt times. Either way, my review stands.

I have had the pleasure of Gault Electric fixing the electrical issues at my Cape Coral condo. Gault was amazing. They came out quickly and fixed an issue that wasn't handled correctly by a prior electrician. The were caring and did a top notch job and gave us the solutions we needed. We are so glad to work with them. Highly recommended!

Mike and his crew did a great job of installing our GEMS remote boat lift and dock lights. Craftmanship was top notch, prices were reasonable, and he was punctual. Mike followed up after installation to ensure we were pleased with his work. Highly recommended!
