We needed our leaky roof repaired and the inside ceilings repaired and painted..Heritage construction came in, gave us a good price for all the work..finished the work quickly and did such a good job..sadly, we incurred a leak in one of the original areas and when we called Heritage, they came out the next day, inspected the problem, apologized profusely and repaired the area again. We've had several days of rain since the repairs and no leaks.. we were very pleased with with the company and the staff..I would definitely recommend this company to anyone needing roofing work.

Terrible and unprofessional service. I originally called for a leaky roof. They made me believe that I had wind damage and could go through insurance. I was worried the that the process would take too long and would cause more damage. The roofer told me that they would put a tarp on immediately after filing the claim and if the claim was denied they would fight for the claim. They said they would also make sure that a roofer would be out when the insurance adjuster/engineer was at the house to show the damage. That all was a lie. They told me to wait until the insurance adjuster came out and then they'd put it on. Then after the adjuster came they tell me that they want me to go through insurance for them to cover putting a tarp over the roof, never got a tarp put on. This whole process took months and now the insurance company denied the claim and the roofing company hasn't done anything to help. Now there's a hurricane and my roof is completely ruined. The entire right side of my ceiling has water damage and there water dripping through one of my kitchen lights and mold. Oh, and the day before the appointment to give a quote, the roofer texted me at midnight to confirm the wrong time.

The funny thing is, i received a flyer this week about the how my home is qualified for an insurance claim, just seems like a joke. Please go with a more professional company.

I completely regret using this company for our reroofing. To this date we've had two roof leaks after the reproof. Trying to get someone just to come to locate and repair the leak is a tremendous hassle. It's been nearly a month and no one can call or make it out. The excuse is that they always have other work to do or that their technicians aren't reliable.

The fact that they bad mouth their own people shows that this company isn't to be trusted.

Hopefully, they can treat their people better and have reliable customer service.

This was a nightmare. Heritage's communication and customer service are a joke. I have dozens of unanswered emails and phone calls over the last 14 months that we've been in this process. Wish I had read the reviews before signing the original contract over a year ago. Expect to wait months for the insurance department to do anything helpful and do not expect timely replies on anything. As soon as you sign the contract and make an insurance claim everything goes down hill from there. Wood costs (not covered by insurance) are way higher than other companies. We were charged over $40,000 for a roof and dry wall work on one room. Do yourself a favor and read the other reviews if your insurance company needs to be involved and go with a more reputable company.

Where to start. Well my wife and i originally contacted this company for their services in October/Nov resulting in a date of January which we understood. Hurricane Irma had just ripped through and all we wanted was to just get our flat roof redone since hurricane season was over to essentially stay ahead of the ball. We are given the date of January 23rd but instead they came a week early and dropped a bunch of stuff off with no communication whatsoever. This is where the company lacks the most. They rarely contact their clients to verify if the job was done right or not. The job was supposedly going to take 1 day and we were pleased with that since our house is small. Unfortunately it took 3 days and the crew never seemed to be consistent nor want to be there. Once the job finally finished we figured, " okay now we can relax and know we have a nice NEW flat roof installed!" Once again, unfortunately that was no the case which led to the worst part of leaks happening that never existed prior to these people touching our roof. The first rain we had in February actually showed signs of leakage in two spots of our home. Confused we figured it might've been a simple mistake and I had them come out to fix them. Sadly the same crew came and halfway fixed it. This then led to a leak in the bedroom that actually went into the home on my carpet for hours. They actually fixed it finally and resurfaced my ceiling. My and wife prayed this was our last interaction with them but no... A couple days ago the intial leak I had them fix started leaking into my house through our light fixture.... Please do not use these people. They do not care about your home and their financing is terrible.

The lady on the phone was Very good quick on the ball. Sarah .. account manager was Darryl was amazing efficient and super friendly answered all questions kept us informed dealt with insurance and HOA to get approval! Made it easy ...Ryan foreman was there the day of install told us what was happening very friendly also. Both Darryl and Ryan came day later to check on the install took away any unused material .. Ryan walked the roof to inspect! The whole experience was great!!!! A+

My husband had recently passed away and I had to sell my house. An inspection showed I needed a new roof. I called Heritage Roofing and a wonderful person by the name of Justin Wolford came to inspect what I needed to have done. My insurance co denied the claim, Justin came and took a zillion of photos and I submitted the claim again along with the photos. It was approved. Justin not only helped me get through the grieving process, he became my friend and guardian angel, and helped me with other things over and beyond, his job. He is the best!!! Thank you Heritage Roofing for having the wisdom to have Justin employed by you,. He is truly and asset to your Company.

Beware of this company. Have been dealing with them for over four (4) months and my roof is still not completely finished. As for communication, you will be lucky to get someone totresolve any issues you may have. The sales person does not answer the phone, the office has called me twice and stating they will call me within a day and I don't hear from them for weeks, several emails have been sent to the only contact I have an email for, and to date no one accepts responsibility. To date, the complaint still stands. Heritage removed work done by another company that was to prevent rodents and critters to enter my attic and was not replaced even when the contractors were advised Needless to say the warranty is voided and that job cost a couple of thousand dollars. I requested three panals be changed out and if I was not on the roof they I would not know that the contractor told me they only would replace the part of the panel that was bad not the ENTIRE panel. I told them I was paying for a WHOLE panel and they needed to do replace it completely not a section. The foreman had to be called out who stated I should not be on the roof (even though is my home). Thank goodness I was inspecting as I caught issues that otherwise I would not be aware.

On a side note, home is 1900 SQ ft and the roof cost of replacement was $24,000 which I fought the insurance not to pay as I could have gotten two roofs replaced for this amount or even a metal one.

To date, ownership has not even bothered to contact me and resolve the issue I DO NOT RECOMMEND this company based on personal experience with them. I will also be filing a complaint with the BBB and the State of Florida in hopes to get this matter resolved.

It is unfortunate how most contractors, licensed or not do not really care about the clients just that bottom line called CASH $$$$

I had my roof replced in January 2011. They also recommended I have solar tubes installed which provides fabulous light in my duplex. There was a small leak after the installation, I called and they came out immediately and fixed it. No problems since then and I am very happy.

While I was pleased with the quality of work the crew did replacing my roof, it is not worth the aggravation of dealing with the billing department. The crew did work that we asked to be consulted about before going though with it and installed the wrong color gutters. Though Heritage said we would not be charged, I received a call 1 and 1/2 years later that we owed for that and work they claimed they did not do but attempted to charge my homeowner's insurance for, such as removing everything from my garage to repair the ceiling. The workers were never in my garage. Insurance paid an additional amount because their cost would be higher to fight. I tried to dispute the dishonesty. They hired an attorney. It took years to get a financial release from Heritage. I do not support shady businesses.

I don’t know where to begin to explain what a pleasant experience it was to work with Heritage Roofing and Construction. From the receptionist, Gail, that explained the process to me, Darryl that came to do the estimate, Tanya that ordered the materials, Tanya also kept me informed about each step of the process...from pulling the permit, scheduling the project and so much more. Derrick provided supervision and even brought additional supplies right away when the crew needed them. I could not believe how seamless they all made the process. The crew worked through some rain and until dark the first day and finished it the next day. They made sure our bushes and air conditioning system were covered. The clean up was done so well no one would know they had ever been there. Thank you all for your timely, diligent work. Now we can have peace of mind that our home will be safer during storms.

What can I say about Heritage... these guys took extraordinary care in the replacement of my roof. From my first meeting with Jeremy, my project manager, to the help picking out a tile color with Todd, to the assistance, in the office, with both Lisa and Jeremy, as they worked with my insurance company (I didn't have to do a thing, as they handled it all. How awesome is that!). And let's not forget the professional and seriously detail oriented crew that did the awesome work. They are quick and really do an incredible job, in a phased approach, with inspections between each phase, which was cool, and reassuring. It really was a great experience all around. My home looks amazing, now dry inside, important, and with the upscale materials they use, will look great and protect my home, and family, for decades to come... which, by the way, bonus, may also help with your appraised value, for those looking to sell or refi. Thank you so very much Heritage.

I recently discovered a roof leak and contacted Heritage Construction and am very glad I did so. Jane Johnson came out the same day and diagnosed the problem, contacted her office and helped along with Jake Welding to get me a quick and very affordable estimate. jane continued her awesome customer service as she is tarping area until the work can be completed. Brice and the entire office staff are responsive and professional. The roofing crew did a Great Job replacing my roof. Where it leaked before it doesn’t anymore. They worked hard, passed all inspections and completed in 2 days. I highly recommend this company.

DON'T TRUST THEM!!!

A representative from Heritage Construction approached me and requested to inspect our roof -- as they were replacing a neighbor's. They told me my roof had wind damage and that insurance would likely cover the full cost minus the deductible. They assured me that there would be no cost to me except my deductible and had me sign paperwork stating the same. Insurance reviewed the claim and agreed to pay for the cost of full replacement (which was great!). Unfortunately, after that it was all down hill.

While they did a nice job replacing the roof, they left nails everywhere. It took me five calls to finally get them picked up. On a couple occasions they lied and said they picked them up. When my neighbor stepped on a nail, they admitted their mistake.

My biggest issue is that they essentially STOLE $3,000 from me! To my understanding, all fees had been paid by insurance and nothing remained outstanding. There was no communication otherwise. However, when we went to sell our house, we learned that Heritage placed a lean on our home and took the money out of closing fees.

When I called them, they said that it was a mistake and insurance needed to pay me back because they were still owed money for the roof. After multiple calls/emails with insurance, Heritage failed to provide documentation on why money was still owed to them. Per insurance, their quote went up multiple times and it appeared they were trying to charge for more materials than necessary.

While Heritage admitted that the money should not have been collected from me, they said that insurance would have to refund me even though it was paid to Heritage. After a complaint to the Better Business Bureau and nearly six months of calls/emails, they still have not resolved the issue. I requested that they pay me back for what they "stole" from me and deal directly with insurance to get what they believe to be owed. They failed to respond to this request on multiple occasions.

They are basically crooks! Don't trust them. If they tell you that you could get a roof covered by insurance, believe them, but then call somebody else who will deal with you in a fair and ethical manner.
