The Heritage team did a great job from start to finish. I got my roof replaced and some interior work done. The staff were friendly and all contractors were professional, and quick to address any of my concerns. It was my first time dealing with an insurance claim and the Heritage team made it a seamless process. Thank you!

I had the pleasure of speaking with Jane Johnson after she was recommended to me by a neighbor. I inquired about checking my roof for some past storm damage. I was pleasantly surprised by receiving an email response within a short time period that everything was intact! I was impressed by Jane's courteous and knowledgeable demeanor. Jane handled my questions and responded within a few hours - not days (which seems to be the norm). I will definitely recommend Jane to anyone inquiring about roofs and come time to replace mine, I will definitely reach out to Jane in the future! Thank you for your professionalism!

Like other reviews on here, I am also the victim of poor workmanship. My roof was originally installed in DEC 2017 by the previous owners and has had leaks post hurricane. While the shingles and materials are still performing as expected, I had an adjuster and additional roofing company inform me that that a majority of my leaks could have been mitigated by the installation of a cricket by the fireplace and/or proper flashing. When I contacted the company to inquire about the situation and these independent assessments, the office acted defensively rather than try and understand my concerns. This was red flag one, as the company is not a learning organization. Additionally, the office informed me they won’t even look at the roof due to an abundance of new work implying Heritage has prioritized their own new work opportunities over their reputation. Red flag two.

Heritage can justify their actions through “Acts of God” and non-transferable warranties, but the reality is they don’t even stand behind their work enough to take a return look at their past performance… not even to provide an estimate for repairs and to mitigate homeowner fears.

Priding yourself of 25 years of past performance isn’t a mechanism to guarantee the next 25. This company may be a dinosaur.

Yesterday the crew finished installing my new roof. Today the county did a final inspection. Everything is done and I’m still waiting for the catch... This whole process was so easy! A young man named Jake came out a few weeks ago after I had called about Heritage’s free roof inspection. He found that I had damage on my roof.. I’ve never been up their and have no idea, but, he explained that my roof is covered under my insurance policy.. So I filled a claim, an insurance adjuster came out a few days later and I am so glad Jake met him here, cause after an inspection and a lot of conversation I didn’t understand, the adjuster told me they are replacing my roof! Tanya from their office called me and explained the process and set up a start date.... I called her and asked 100’s of questions and she was so nice to me.. Long story short, I am so pleased with the roof, the process. I can’t say enough!!

Roof replacement is expensive and stressful to the homeowner. Heritage did a great job guiding us through the process, got the job done quickly, and the results turned out high quality. We are very pleased with our new roof. We would especially recommend Brice K., the sales representative, who was extremely helpful.

The news media has conditioned the public to be skeptical of roofing companies so I was cautious with every company. Then Jane from Heritage comes along. No other company sent a female sales agent except for Heritage. Not only was she very professional, but her approach to me came across as being truly sincere about me as a customer, as opposed to just seeing another roof sale. She listened to my concerns and viewed the situation from my perspective. She then offered a free inspection and when she was done, she asked if she could share her perspective. While she was on my roof, I researched Heritage as much as I could and they seemed reputable but it is hard to tell just from websites and reviews. She shared her perspective and everything she said made sense from the claims process, what to expect and why, and how she would be there each step of the way. After 30 mins, I chose Jane. She was the difference from every other sales agent and company. With my new roof complete and Jane providing the best customer service I have ever had, I am now working with Heritage on some home remodeling projects. Jane is great, Heritage did exactly what they committed to, and they both earned a repeating customer! Thank you Jane and Heritage!

We had our roof done by Heritage roofing last August because of some wind damage to our roof and boy am I glad we did! With the hurricane that just came thru our roof had no damage and still looks great!! Our representative was very honest and upfront with the whole process of what needed to be done. He contacted the insurance company for us and was there when the adjuster came out and made sure everything was handled professionally. The roofing crew also did an excellent job and were very proficient. Not only did they have a variety of colors of shingles but I was also very impressed with the quality of them as well. I can't say enough about Heritage and would highly recommend them to anyone who is in search for a roofing company!

My experience with Heritage Construction and Roofing was such a pleasant experience. The sales rep Jane J made all the difference. She was available from beginning to end. She made sure that all of my concerns was met and more. She even took into consideration the noise that my dogs may experience during the work frame. She showed a level of professionalism that was most appreciated. The workers came and left in a timely manner The end product is amazing and the clean up was done nicely. The process of replacing our roof was seamless from the day we met with their sales Representative Jane until completion. Jane was very professional and addressed any question or concerns I had quickly and efficiently. There crews were did a great job replacing our old roof and doing the required repairs. We had a good experience working with everyone at Heritage Construction and Roofing.

The first time was in 2004 I hired them to replace my roof. I recently hired Heritage Construction & Roofing again to replace my roof
Once again I was extremely pleased with the installation process. Heritage walked me through the process and communicated with me every step of the way. The company was professional through out the entire project.

I am completely satisfied with the service I received from Heritage. Todd the owner helped me out with all of my insurance issues. Without him I’m not sure that I would have be able to get a new roof. He made it a stress free process. The rest of the staff were professional and respectful. Roof was completed in a reasonable amount of time. It looks great and has had no issues.

We had a fantastic experience with this roofing company!! They were prompt and professional; and the quality of their work was outstanding!! Extremely high-quality work for a very fair/reasonable price. And we were equally impressed with the Incredible care they took in their clean up. No nails or scraps left behind in our grass or landscaping. We greatly appreciated the high level of respect they showed for our property. Jane Johnson at Heritage was wonderful to work with. Heritage installed a roof for a customer and from the moment of contact Jane kept me informed and sent supporting documents. She let me know every time she met with my customer, when he signed documents (and gave me copies), discussed and explained all aspects of the installation from sky lights to permitting and color choices to warranties. I’ve read lots of negative comments about this company and have found in the past that its always easier to pop the balloon, (negative comments), then to blow it up, (positive comments)!
So I’d like to take a moment and tell you about my great experience with Heritage Construction and Roofing.
I had significant hail damage to my roof and front door after 2 hailstorms . There was inside damage from the leaks through the ceilings of my closet, master bath and bedroom and my laundry room. My insurance company didn’t want to pay the claim, even after several inspections saying I had significant hail damage to my entire roof with the subsequent interior damage.
Heritage went the extra mile for me. They finally hired an attorney, at no extra cost to me, who then hired another group which had their own inspectors come out and do an inspection. They were then able to get my insurance company to finally pay the claim after 9 months of negations.
Heritage came out and did a great job putting on a new roof, a new front storm door, (which had almost been ripped off the hinges) and next crew came in and repaired all the inside damage, then painted all the damaged ceilings in my home.
I want to thank you to Gail, Anthony and Noah for all their persistent due diligence in making sure everything was done well and in a timely manner.
After 9 months my house no longer has a tarp on it and looks new outside and inside.

Unfortunately, the workmanship is poor quality. For a roof to have a leak within 4 years of installation and no missing shingles from hurricanes past, tells me it was poor workmanship. When I called about 5 year warranty that they advertise, I was informed that after the first rain fall on the roof, as it is a "Act of Nature", they no longer cover the roof and will not send anyone out to take a look.
Had to call another roofing company who confirmed that the roof section, where water is coming in and no shingles are missing, was poorly installed. When I asked them about their company warranty, and showed them the worthless certificate that this company gave me, they confirmed that it was a scam, especially in the state of Florida, and that "if that was the case, don't sell it as a 5 year warranty."

I'd highly recommend staying away from this company and going with another company. Unless you are ok with being scammed and having to get roof repair work done within 4 years of it being installed.

We had Heritage replace our roof in March of 2018. They came out around 9:00 am and left before I returned home by 5:30 pm. The roof looked ok from the ground and I paid them my part and they left. Well, my husband went on the roof and starting looking around and found that the shingles had no overhang in most areas (they are supposed to hang over dripline by 1/2"). There was an area that my husband lifted up the shingle to find that the overlayment was nailed to the top of the shingle below it instead of underneath it. We asked for them to come out and make the areas right. Also, had another roofer come out and examine the roof for areas that needed to be fixed. My husband asked for them to call and let him know when they would be there so that he could take off work and make sure the areas were fixed right. They showed up without calling him and did the work anyway. Still the work wasn't completed correctly and they have refused to call me back (except for more money) or send me pictures of the dry in so I could see the underlayment was done correctly. This part has to be submitted to the City in order to get my work permit signed off. It has been since July and still no help from them.

I would not recommend them to anyone. My neighbor had to have his whole roof replaced because he found areas where there was no underlayment. That is one reason I had requested pictures of my roof.

I have attached some pictures of the work so you can see for yourself some of the work that wasn't done right.

I would add, also, that they said the used their own employees but the guys that came out were subcontractors from Texas area.

Have been a client for the past two years and I am really happy that I chose this contractor. Ben (owner) has been honest, responsive, fair and easy to work with. Justin (PM) has paid attention to detail and has been very thorough. I would absolutely recommend (and have) this company to anyone looking for dependable and professional work.
