    We could not more highly recommend Peter of Garden, Stone, and Home. After getting a number of proposals for our new pool build, we were frustrated with the lack of innovative design, and the lack of anyone being able to give us a plan that reflected the vision we were trying to communicate. I found Garden, Stone, and Home in a google search for landscape designers in the area and was drawn to the more on trend, modern and classy designs in the portfolio. I called and spoke directly with Peter, the owner, and immediately sensed this was going to be a good fit for us. When he came out to look at our property it was obvious from start that he was on a completely different level than anyone else we had dealt with. The amount of time he took looking at the yard, asking us questions, taking pictures and even aerial shots was telling. He probably spent two hours talking through things with us before we had even decided to go with him. At the end of that meeting my husband and I signed his contract on the spot. We were confident he would come through with a design we would love. As expected, he came up with a design (hardscaping and landscaping) totally unique to anything we had yet seen and spent time tweaking it until it was something we were very excited about. Throughout the entire process he was extremely easy to communicate with and would always answer any questions in a super timely manner, even having extended phone conversations talking us through different concerns as we were making various decisions. Once the actual pool construction was completed, as promised, Peter personally made the landscaping come to life, doing most of the plant install and sod himself. It looks absolutely fabulous. We’ve interacted with so many different contractors, as our home was a custom build a few years back, and Peter is by far the most professional and impressive of any that we have had at our home. It is extremely uncommon to find someone like Peter who cares about doing excellent work, and honestly treats your project as if it were his own. If you are doing any kind of hardscape/landscape project, Peter is your man. The investment is so worth it.
