Marshall Pest Control has been fertilizing and treating my lawn for the past nine years. Before them I tried a couple of the larger franchised lawn care companies without consistent results. Marshall has maintained my lawn to a lush green throughout the year, and pays special attention to any problem areas. My neighbors on both sides have switched to Marshall because of the way my lawn looks, and there have been numerous walkers in the evening who compliment the lawn as they walk by. Charly has been my technician since the beginning and I’m sure that’s one of the reasons for having such a positive experience. He is friendly, professional, and clearly dedicated to caring for his lawns. I appreciate the extra notes on the door tag explaining any special watering considerations, dry spots noticed, potential insect issues, etc. It’s great to have a lawn care company that keeps my lawn healthy at a very reasonable price. Horrible or rather no customer service breaching their own written contract conditions and terms of service for lawn care. I added recommendations for addressing problem from the Florida agriculture Dept Pinellas County extension after examining grass samples. That is not me telling Marshall what to do. They do only what they deem every 6 weeks. I have requested exactly what they have treated my lawn since they started 12/24 upon request from U OF FL Agriculture dept.

Only after Massey totally destroyed my grass as they never treated for fungus in an entire year, and analysis from the UF IFAS EXTENSION, did I pursue legal advice. Massey in fact admitted fault and never went yo a law suit. This office manager, Ilia Taber is misconstruing facts and rude! Massey did replace my lawn sod after months of hassling. I signed a contract and it has been breached.

Marshall started service on my yard about a year ago for lawn care and weed control, and since they took over, my back yard has significantly deteriorated. First, I'll say some positives. Every time I spoke with someone in person or over the phone, whether it was a Marshall tech, service manager, or representative, they were always personable. And, my front yard, which is St. Augustine, has not gotten better or worse, and looks fine. There is a chance I just slipped through the cracks.

Prior to Marshall starting lawn care, my lawn guy and I personally hand picked all of the weeds in the back, to give Marshall a fresh start. I let them pick my plan for best weed control as that was my primary concern.I have had some moderate weed control issues in the past. I sent a few emails and spoke with a few people over the next few months as weeds began engulfing my yard. In July, it got bad enough that I wanted to request plugs. They agreed, but said they would have to charge me. I was frustrated but agreed. They said they would treat the weeds a few times and then proceed to plant the plugs. Looking back at my emails, this was late July. A service manager came out later after and I spoke with him over the phone about my concerns with not hand picking the weeds, given how fast they grow back and the large area they covered. I offered to do this myself. His response was "Why don't you get St. Augustine," kind of flippantly.

It is now November, and they still have not planted the plugs. They still continue to charge me, and my weeds continue to get worse. In addition, they have not responded to my most recent emails and calls. I will likely discontinue their service, but I also feel there is irreparable damage to my lawn at this point.

These guys really know their stuff.... I needed a nice gathering /hosting/football viewing area which these guys really had the vision for along with the skill set to put it in ...They installed a deck with fire pit as well that tied right into my pre-existing pool.... it's honestly the most complimented feature of my entire home in Davis Islands

We recently completed a backyard outdoor renovation with Legacy Outdoor and the experience was fantastic.

Having suffered extensive hurricane damages, we contacted Legacy Outdoors and requested a comprehensive makeover of our yard. We met with a Sales Director who then shared a 3D design addressing each of our agreed upon improvements including all landscape trees, shrubs and plants…increasing our pool deck by 30%…artificial turf for front and back and a 4 hole putting green to cap it off.
Once the crew started their work, we were amazed at the quality and diligence they did every day over the 4-5 week process. I don’t normally participate in reviewing companies who are paid for their services, but it is an absolute pleasure for me to brag about Legacy Outdoors and I highly recommend them for anyone looking to beautify their outdoor landscaping.

The owner was very rude and the service we received was terrible. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

We hired Proturf several years ago and my Lawn and Shrubs have never looked better. They are not cheap, but they do a great job!

Just heard about the bad service and then customer stop service and company informed them that they had to give a 60 day notice to quit. Nice way to try to gouge the consumer for another 2 months, then Proturf said they would sue....

We hired Harry Michalek, owner of Proturf Landscapes, Inc. to install an underground drainage system that would move rainwater from our backyard to the front of our property eliminating the need for the existing electrical/mechanical pumps. When the power goes out, rendering the pumps inoperable, rainwater accumulates in excess causing water intrusion into the house. The system that was designed & installed by this company is unsuccessful and routinely fails. As of today, they are refusing to correct the problem at their own expense.

Pro turf was doing clean up work at the place we were staying in St. Pete Beach. Debris was piling up at my in-laws property next door and they took care of it since the city said we were on our own. They gave us a very fair price and the crew worked hard and was super professional. Very detail oriented and customer focused especially in this difficult time. Thanks Proturf!

Outstanding professional workwomanship from this local company. Courteous, corrects issues on the spot and nice to have people with a work ethic. I have obtained numerous quotes for this turf over the past 2 years and they not only provided a reasonable quote, the added benefit was loving the finished product
