Marshall Pest Contral is great!!! They let you know they are coming the day before. They do all the work.. I don't even know that they have been here except for the note they leave... They make it so easy for you..

Very poor customer service and communication. Had issues with lawn and they never addressed them, lawn never improved under their care. Kept promising but never delivered and didn’t care when I decided to cancel. Would definitely not recommend this company.

Been with Marshall for many years. Charley is their technician and was an outstanding, capable, and friendly technician. He gives me great advice on the care of my lawn.

Marshall's is literally the only service that has prevented my front yard from dying of fungus every fall. And when you call them they come right out! Love that! Highly recommended!

Called to inquire about service and to get a quote on a Tuesday. Lady on the phone told me that someone would come out that week and leave an estimate. No one showed up all week. Called the following week to get an update and was told they’d get someone out this week. No one showed up that week either. Guess they don’t want my money. Someone else will.

Started having issues with my new sod that I recently installed. I determined the issue to be sod web worm and called Marshall Pest. Jim, the service manager came out to take a look and provide me an estimate. Jim was very knowledgeable and professional. Highly recommend Jim and Marshall pest.

Horrible experience, after a year the yard looked horrible. We called to cancel and they continued to spray and charge us after we cancelled. Called in again to cancel and lady was rude as they get hung up the phone and would not send a confirmation of cancellation. Ali also proceeded to tell me that I spoke to a technician that came out to our house last Friday and swore by this many times. Funny part is we were actually out of state that entire weekend and no one was staying at our house. I will never understand how when a business does not do the right thing and cancel when you ask them to, and then proceeds to throw all blame back on the customer, and even swear that they know something that is not even possible happened, how this company could stay in business.

As you can see by her statement, she is straight up lying again on this application about multiple aspects. I was in the car with 3 people when I talked to Ali and they all could not believe how incredibly rude she was and then proceeded to hang the phone up after I asked for q confirmation of cancellation and would not answer after this. This was not posted till after that situation occurred which clearly shows that I talked to not only her but another gentleman in the office before posting this. This was mainly was posted because of the complete lack of professionalism and customer service shown by Ali.

Horribly run service and it shows, just take a look at the reviews here amongst other places.

Its sad because the technician is a very nice guy regardless of how horrible our lawn looked, but our yard looked absolutely horrible after over a year of service, so we switched to Trugreen!

Don’t use them, you will regret it.

Last year I moved into my new home in St. Petersburg that was built by a well known Builder. Well the builder decided to do all the Landscaping PRIOR to the home being completed. The contractors could have cared less about the new lawn and basically destroyed it. I contacted the builder and they told me to contact the Landscaper They used and he wouldn’t talk to me. I spoke to my local landscaper Mario who recommended Marshall’s. I called Marshall’s the next day and it was the best thing I ever did.
A Tech came out and analyzed my lawn and came up with a treatment plan. In less than a year I have a beautiful Green Lawn it is almost a miracle!!!
If you have any issues with your lawn or landscaping call them ASAP!!

Martial lawn and pest company is top notch. I've had many companies over the years treat my house for pests. They tend to spend about 20 minutes and charge outrageous fees. I was referred to this company by a friend and Michael did not disappoint. He spent about 2 hours at my house for a mouse problem. He sealed up possible entry points, what's the large companies did not do. I'm extremely happy with the service he provided and would recommend this company to anybody with pest concerns.

Marshall's has been doing our yard for the last seven years so it was very disappointing when they came out after hurricane Helene and treated our yard without checking with us first. The entire barrier island was under three feet of water and the landscaping everywhere was devastated beyond repair. At the point they treated we still had piles of debris in the yard covering some of the small amount of grass we have in the front yard. We had shrubs in the front yard that were dead from hurricane Debbie and trees tipped over. Every shrub in our back yard was washed away by hurricane Helene leaving only artificial turf in the back. The future of the property wasn't even determined at that point. After speaking to their office they insisted they were trying to save the dead grass and shrubs. I sympathize that a large part of their service area lost their landscaping which affected their revenue but many other businesses were suffering with that too. I will never do any business with their company if their policy is to take advantage of people after a devastating disaster.

Marshall’s wasn’t super pleasant to deal with after I found iron pellets in my new pool. They gave me a hard time just to clean them after I speak endless money trying to eradicate the problem myself. After I cancelled service because of it I had a due payment and they called me twice in 5 days threatening to send me to debt collections. Not the best customer service or quality of work.

We had lawn care and pest control through them. Every time they came for the lawn, we ended up with damage to lawn ornaments and the house. They even completely cut down our rose bush that was in front of a small fenced area so you really couldn’t miss it. Absolutely negligent and irresponsible. When we brought up the issues to them, they ended up canceling the contract we had with them because they refused to own up to their damages as well as not providing the services that were being payed for. Still have spiders, ants, and wasps all around the house. Terrible service and even worse employees. They do not take responsibility and will blame YOU for THEIR actions.

I started using Marshall at the end of 2021. I had a few issues where the team would spray my yard right before huge rain storms (it was very obvious it was about to storm) and Marshall said that that was OK because if helped the product. I would think spraying toxic weed spray 10 minutes before it rains means it is going into the sewer and into the bay. In June of 2022 I received a $20 higher bill. I paid my regular amount. Marshall said they raised prices. I let them know I was never informed but from July 2022 on paid the 10% higher bills. Fast forward to December 2024. After going through 2 hurricanes and not being in my home for Christmas Aili emails me and says she is sending me to collections for $20. I told her that this has been floating around since June 2022, they never notified me of price increases and if she could show where that was communicated. She was unable to provide this documentation and was honestly very combative and rude. She alone makes me never want to work this company. Again, I have consistently paid them for their services. All in all I would love to work with someone local but not this team.

Hi! I have had Marshall Pest control for a few years. Lawn looks good never really great but good enough. After Hurricane Helene came through I cancelled my service. However Marshall showed up anyway. Instead of seeing the home was vacant and the grass was overgrown and calling me to verify service, the technician treated anyway. Now Marshall wants me to foot the bill! Very poor customer service. And the 'office manager' wasn't even kind when I was telling her what happened. She immediately jump at me and now is sending my bill into collections. Nothing like taking advantage of customers that are down to boost sales!

So very disappointed with the lack of attention and service; however in reading the other reviews, I'm not alone. For the $$ I expect the tech's look at my yard and treat accordingly but it appears that Marshall's doesn't promote that!
I called in early May about brown patches suspecting chinch bugs. They asked for photos which were sent. No response until I called. They were unwilling to come out, stating all customers get treatment in June. Their people are well trained to dance around the issue.... serious customer service issues. My yard continues to deteriorate and I have zilch confidence in Marshall's to rectify. Moving on!
