Billy with Empower Electric was sent out to help us with a difficult situation by a restoration company that had asked to plug in to our exterior outlet to run some fans for our neighbor, who had had a fire in their house. It was only supposed to be for a couple of days, but on day 10 my the restoration equipment blew the fuse (so they thought), but my husband noticed that the extension cord the restoration company was using was very hot and the cord was damaged and had in-turn damaged our outlet making it a potential fire hazard situation.

Brandy kindly called to schedule a convenient time to send somebody out and then confirmed the time both the day before and the day of.
Billy arrived with a friendly and professional demeanor and inspected the damaged outlet as well as the pictures I had taken of the cord at the time. He confirmed that not only was our exterior outlet damaged but the connection to the internal GFI inside our lanai was also damaged due to the amount of voltage being ran through the cord. He kindly contacted the restoration company and confirmed that there was damage to our outlets caused by their equipment running for so long and at such a high voltage for the size of cord being used. The restoration company covered the cost for Billy to fix both outlets the same day, ensuring that we no longer faced any kind of fire hazard/damage ourselves.
The prompt, professional and friendly service provided by Billy with Empowered Electric was a welcome relief to a stressful situation.

**Amazing Experience with Empowered Electric - William is the Best!**

I just had to share my wonderful experience with Empowered Electrical Services here in Clermont. Two of my breakers completely stopped working, leaving me without power and no internet - a nightmare when you work remotely like I do!

I went online and requested service through their website, hoping someone could help me quickly. The next day, Brandy called to confirm my appointment and she was so kind and understanding about my situation. When I explained that I was working from home and desperately needed my power and internet back, she managed to squeeze me in that same day. I really appreciated how she recognized this was an emergency for me and made it happen.

William came out to my house and honestly, he was exactly the professional I needed during a stressful situation. It's not always easy to find contractors who truly listen and take time to explain things properly, but William was absolutely wonderful. He showed up right on time and was super friendly.

He quickly got to work replacing the two breakers that had failed, getting my power and internet back up so I could return to work. But he didn't stop there - he did a thorough check of my entire breaker box and even inspected my outside panel. That's when he discovered a faulty GFCI outlet for my pool that I didn't even know was a problem. It could have been a real safety hazard, so I'm grateful he caught it and fixed it right away.

What I really appreciated was how he explained everything in normal terms - not a bunch of electrical jargon I wouldn't understand. When he found a few other things that could use attention down the road, he mentioned them without being pushy at all. Actually gave me some great tips about surge protection for our crazy Florida storms.

After a lightning strike near our home tripped five breakers, we were only able to reset three of them ourselves. I can’t say enough good things about Empowered Electrical Sercices. The team was extremely accommodating with the changes I had in purchasing my home. While doing repairs Jonathan and Brian discovered a safety issue and quickly alerted me. They were able to repair the issue and take care of the additional repairs. Their patience and skill were amazing. It’s hard to find a honest and reliable business and I am so lucky I was referred to the team at Empowered Electrical Services. So less than a month ago, I was in desperate need of a reasonable company that could update the aluminum wiring in my house along witj other outdated issues with my electrical system. I received quotes that were thousands more expensive. However, I reached out to Billy and his team.

Though they typically work during the week, Billy and his sweet girlfriend came out pn a Saturday to give me a thorough, honest estimation while entertaining my busy two-year-old. He was willing to work with me and, within a week and a half, the job was scheduled! Other companies, again, were more expensive, required a huge deposit, and were not available to start until the end of November at the earliest.

On the day of the project, Billy's team showed up bright and early, ready to work! They worked throughout the day into the early evening, installing a surge protector, new electric panel and wiring, alumiconn connectors in every outlet, upgraded light fixtures and plugs, amongst other improvements. I expected things to take a few days but everything was completed on that day while I was at work! And everything was completed just in case before this winter's first 30° cold snap. Since finishing the job, Billy has even reached out to make sure everything is going well. I HIGHLY recommend Empowered Electrical Services for your electrical needs!

Awesome is the best word to use for the company and their employee, Michael Moore. It only took him an hour to unclog a very clogged drainage system. He was very. Personable and easy to talk with and very informative.

Excellent rapid response when we learned of a leak to our water line to home. Though I called in mid afternoon , they were able to repair our problem that day, avoiding a much bigger problem. We will be using their services for any other plumbing needs.

We had been dealing with ongoing plumbing issues for several weeks. I even rented a main line snake twice and ran it from inside the house. We thought the issue was resolved, but the backflow happened again the day before Christmas. It was extremely stressful, especially since my family was also dealing with an illness at the time.

I called around and found Ark Plumbing, and they were able to send a technician out right away. He arrived promptly and identified the problem immediately. Tree roots had grown through and broken our main cleanout, causing sewage to back up into our shower and toilets.

Donovan was very polite, answered all of my questions and concerns, and didn’t leave until everything was flowing properly.

The technician arrived on time. Prior to the visit, I was informed that the service fee would be $80 and that once the issue was identified, I would receive an estimate for approval before any work was performed.
However, upon arrival, the technician stated that the $80 was only a show-up fee, and that an additional $250 inspection fee was required to diagnose the problem. This was not disclosed to me beforehand.
Furthermore, I was told that they were unable to diagnose the issue themselves and would need to hire a third party for leak detection at an additional cost of nearly $500 — and that would only cover the diagnostic service, not any actual repairs.
I found this experience frustrating and misleading due to the lack of transparency regarding fees. I ultimately contacted another company for a second opinion, and they confirmed that there was no leak issue in the house and issue has been simply fixed.
Based on this experience, I have concerns about this company’s transparency and professionalism.

Our plumber, Joseph, was incredible. He went above and beyond to fix our shower that would not stop running. He was professional, informative, and timely. I highly recommend Ark and Joseph!
