I just had my first maintenance visit from Jed after purchasing a new unit. He was one of the most helpful, polite and professional techs I have ever had in my home. I am so pleased to have found AAA Modern Air and recommend them with complete confidence.

Service techs here do not do maintenance correctly. They take hours to do a 30 min- 1hour job. Then they charge you hundreds to thousands for a repair that should have been fixed during a maintenance so they get commission. Owners do not care long as they get paid. You can find a cheaper company. Call at yiur own risk. If you do call try to avoid speaking the the owners rude wife KATE. She has no respect for others that are not giving her money. Doesn't even respect her own workers.

Kaden Jones was fantastic. He arrived promptly, was courteous, professional and thorough. I highly recommend AAA Modern Air.

Jed was professional and friendly. I would ask for him anytime we needed repairs from AAA Modern Air. He even stayed behind for a while just to make sure the repair worked as it should. Couldn't ask for better!

Felt like a bait and switch to me.
I called AAA Modern Air yesterday to get pricing on servicing my 85 y/o mother’s AC system. I told Michelle (I believe that was her name) that moms ac system needs to be serviced with Freon every year and only wants it serviced (topped off) with Freon. Michelle told me there is an $85 evacuation fee (deducted if work is done), and a price of $129 per first pound and $99 for each additional pound of Freon.
The service technician, Andrew, came today and was aware the unit was low on Freon when he arrived and that we only wanted it serviced. He connected his gauges to confirm it was low on Freon and he said it would take 120 oz (7.5 lbs) of Freon, and at a rate of $220 first pound and $129 each additional pound. I said we’re looking at it almost $1000. I let him know that yesterday Michelle quoted me $129 and $99. I then asked what the total cost “would be, and he said it might take 4 to 5 pounds, maybe four, or more or less”. You don’t call his manager about the pricing. And he said that he would charge what Michelle quoted.
I called my mother and she said that was more than she could afford. Andrew charged me $85…to let me know the AC unit was low on Freon, which we knew all along, and he left.
I called AAA Modern Air and Michelle connected me to a “manager”, I forget his name. He gave a convoluted excuse about honoring contract pricing, and then hung up on me.
Luckily, I was here to help my 85-year-old mother in dealing with them. I’m sure she would be paying almost $1000 today for something that should be less than half this price.
Either there is very poor communication between their front desk, technicians and managers on pricing or their pricing changes once they arrive to your house.

I had an excellent experience with Lennon from AAA Modern Air. He was professional, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was done right. He explained things clearly, answered all my questions, and treated my home with respect. The quality of his work speaks for itself—everything is running perfectly. It’s rare to find someone who combines skill with such great customer service, but Lennon truly does. I highly recommend him and AAA Modern Air to anyone looking for reliable HVAC service.

I recently had brand new duct work installed in my crawl space by AAA Modern Air, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. From the initial quote to the final cleanup, the entire team was professional, courteous, and a pleasure to work with. Not to mention, they were EXTREMELY reasonable compared to some other companies that are trying to price gouge.

Angelo provided the quote and was exceptional throughout the process. He took the time to answer all of my questions thoroughly and delivered a detailed, transparent quote that made me feel confident moving forward.

The installation was handled by Tim and Roberto, who showed up right on time and did outstanding work. They were respectful of my home, cleaned up everything when they were finished, and the new duct work looks excellent—clearly high-quality craftsmanship. On top of that, they were incredibly patient and kind when my dad jumped in with all of his "dad questions" during the install.

Overall, AAA Modern Air delivered top-notch service and results. I highly recommend them if you're looking for a company that’s professional, skilled, and easy to work with.

AAA Modern Air's service was deeply disappointing. Over a year ago, they installed my AC unit but neglected to include a T for drain maintenance, causing a complete failure two months after the missed annual inspection. When I called, the manager promised to check if the T was missing and fix it but failed to mention a $245 charge for the float switch installation. The technician didn't call before arriving, as promised, and was unprofessional-not introducing himself and spending time on a call outside. After fixing the unit without discussing costs, he became hostile, nearly cursing me out when I questioned the charge, insinuating he knew about the missing T all along, making me feel they were trying to unjustly charge me $245. He even mumbled under his breath about returning to remove the float switch, which felt threatening. This lack of communication and rudeness left me feeling disrespected. I urge management to address these issues and make this right.

Courteous and professional customer support and service. Kaden completed the evaluation of our AC unit. He clearly explained what was needed to assure continued smooth operation of the unit. He was efficient and knowledgeable.

I have used this family-owned company for over 25 years. Always professional and always take care of the problem. And they don't try to sell you things you don't need. Yesterday I met their technician Jed for the first time - a real pro with a great sense of humor.

Although Mike was a little bit later than originally planned, he did a great job fixing my heating system and replacing my broken thermostat. He worked quickly, cleanly and got my heat working. I never expected to need heat in SoFlo but this week has been brutal.

As always, the technicians at AAA Modern Air who have serviced my AC (most recently) Daniel Letson, have done a great job and have always provided me with valuable info. They always arrive on time, get to work right away and finish in no time at all. KUDOs for continuing to provide professional service.

Had problems keeping house warm during cold spell. Michael, the assigned technician. came promptly at the scheduled time, found aproblem in the water evacuation line which he fixed. He thoroughly explained the problem and gave me an excellent tip on how to save a lot of money on my heating bill by keeping the thermostat at 73, rather than the 76 I had programmed. Also fixed a problem I had with the ceiling filter box that he had to reattach. I've been using this company for decades and I highly recommend them for their exceptional service.
