Somehow there was a five star review for this company under my name that I did not write. We did have an excellent serviceman who was honest and acknowledged we were right to not have a 2023 new generator with a 2021 battery that seemed to be from our old generator and he replaced it as it was broken.
The name of the company is extremely misleading as they are completely unreliable. They give you wide windows for service and then tell you they are on their way and show up hours late. This happened multiple times. We spent a lot of money with them but lost confidence and it seems they were sold and are short sighted seeking maximum revenue per customer and indifferent to service.

Frank, was professional,knowledgeable and explained in detail what he was doing and going to do. Was a great experience with this company. Highly recommend them !

Severely expensive, my building told me to avoid using you again, unfortunately presudent of the building got in contact later than a job started. , also they the one that suggested your company.but i was suppose to choose Tyran company and link they send me had ur company too, so i didn't pay attention, 570$ to change 2 outlets or5000$ to change panel with permits can find a cheaper pricing. Horrible upset do not like

I recently had a Generac generator installed by Reliable Power Systems. Greg and his partner who completed the initial installation for the panel were fantastic—excellent communication, on time, and extremely efficient. Highly recommend their services for anyone in need of a whole home generator.

Frank Laforte was our technician on our most recent service. He was very professional and thorough, and very knowledgeable with our large generator. He was also honest gave us very good advice for future service that may arise.

I just had my standby generator serviced for the yearly maintenance, and everything went great. From my initial call to schedule the service, the whole process was easy and straightforward.

Ingrid showed up on time, was super friendly, and explained what she was checking. She answered all my questions, went over the maintenance plans, and shared helpful tips to keep the generator running its best.

The service was quick and smooth. I would definitely recommend Reliable Power and Ingrid.

I had a generator installed and a 1000 gallon propane tank in September of 2025. Recently I had a fuel monitor installed by The propane company Reliable recommended. During the install of the fuel gauge monitor I was advised I have a leak in my propane tank that won’t shut off. I have lost 100’s of gallons of propane and it’s actively leaking. Reliable sent someone to check the tank two days latter only after multiple requests. Patrick the foreperson said my entire tank needs to be removed , however the remaining propane needs to be removed prior to the tank removal. It’s been several days and no one will help me. The tank is actively leaking and I’m afraid of a massive fire/explosion. When I called reliable again today after radio silence from Reliable for two days, they said we will send someone out on the 24th, four days from today. I’m super frustrated, and scared for my family, my neighbors, and anyone who is working the area.Reliable is very unreliable and extremely negligent. They won’t help me for a situation that they admit is their responsibility. The generator has never been used except for weekly testing. Warning to all future customer: RELIABLE POWER is one of the WORST customer service companies I have ever dealt with. They have no empathy nor do they care about human life. Run don’t hire them, because once they are fully paid they refuse to fix problems they created and is under warranty. Hopefully I survive this mess without a major fire or explosion. In either regard Reliable won’t care till they are sued and make the news for creating a tragic situation and turning their back on their customers.

Reliable put in our generator in 2022 and did the last maintenance in April 2023. We did not get the twice a year contract because they are not timely even though they do quality work. If they say they are coming on Monday; you have to ask them 'which week which month, and which year?'. They always reschedule and never show up on time. So ..... we do keep them because of their quality work. There name 'Reliable' is a misnomer. As usual today they did not arrive at the scheduled appointment window.

The customer service is horrible. I would recommend going with a different company especially for service contracts. My Generator installation was completed on 1/1/23. They came out each year for maintenance as agreed to with the $600 / yr contract until I actually had an issue. Until I actually had an issue. I called in and the technician tells me to come out to diagnose the issue I must provide a credit card, WHAT? The unit is still under warranty, I have a service contract and you will not come out to diagnose the issue without a credit card and when I asked why, they said well if the issue is not covered by warranty or we cannot identify the problem we have to charge you. Then technician explains I just work her and provide service I did not build the Generac generator. This is a shady and unscrupulous company I recommend you stay away use someone else!

Really a mixed bag. Pricing was good, but my salesperson wasn't as knowledgeable as he made himself out to be. A lot of overpromising and under-delivering. Told me he could put the generator on one side of the house only to find out that it couldn't be done come installation time. Not sure how sales, engineering, and the on-site staff missed that. Created several problems that could've been easily avoided.

Was also told they do 0% interest, but was never informed that Generac/Synchrony have different policies about what is truly 0 interest versus deferred interest. I don't think they're dishonest, but they don't pay much attention to detail.

Installation went fine once we figured out the mishaps sales created. Service has been very good. Product itself works well.

Great company. Everyone is very nice. Installation and routine maintenance are always easy. David and Anthony were great technicians and were very patient in explaining everything to me!

Reliable was great. Dave was cool guy, he was out looking at our system. Super knowledgeable taught me things I could do to save a few bucks too. Highly recommend.

Reliable Power has become Reliable Services and their customer service is the WORST. Their tech, while doing work at my neighbor , drove his truck up on my lawn and tore up the grass. The tech said he would report it. He didn’t. I called 5 times, sent pictures as they requested, and never got a call back from a manger. I only can speak to the receptionist answering the phone. I’ve been a customer for 10 years and I can’t even get a call back. Plenty of companies sell and install Generac generators and I would highly recommend using one of them, NOT Reliable. Please pass this on to Stephanie. Your guys were back out at my neighbors house working on their generator. Your trucks pulled up, while I was on my driveway, and tore up the new sod you recently replaced. Further more they were using white spray paint to mark of the neighbors property and in doing so got white paint all over my driveway. See pictures attached.
I don’t know what’s wrong with Reliable and the lack of care in regards to peoples property and the damages you create. Now if Stephanie can’t get back to me on Monday, I want to speak to her boss. This situation is out of control and I want it fixed IMMEDIATLEY!

I had an outstanding experience with Reliable Power Systems, and I want to especially commend Christopher for his exceptional service. From the moment he arrived, he was professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely committed to ensuring everything was done right.

Christopher took the time to clearly explain the process, answered all my questions with patience, and went above and beyond to ensure we were completely satisfied. His attention to detail and courteous attitude made a stressful situation much easier to manage.

Cesar came over to hook up the gas to our brand new generator. He was very pleasant, polite and knowledgeable. In fact, at each stage of installation (initial salesman, assigned project manager, trench diggers, slab installer, electricians and the gas fitter), Reliable has been excellent and very reliable.

The techs Alejandro and Leonexy arrived this morning to install a kohler generator, before starting both of them introduced themselves and explained what they will do to install the unit. I have been a contractor for many years, the installation was correct and done professionally a quality job and great clean-up when done. I'm delighted Reliable Power Systems has employees of this caliper. Definitely would recommend!

We recently hired Reliable Power Systems to maintain our Generac whole home generator. Our first visit was with Jevaughni Atkinson from Reliable. Jevaughni was terrific. On time. Knowledgeable and information. Helpful. Reliable!! I could not recommend this company more. A terrific start.
