when hiring a contractor down here but we got an exception to the rule with Elected Electric the young man that did the job was experienced knew what he was doing and did it perfectly

As the hurricane season is approaching, I decide to hook up a power generator for the whole house with a main circuit breaker, an interlock switch and a generator inlet box by the panel box. I'll place the generator on the front driveway. I think this solution is fairly simple to operate and economical.

If you already have a main breaker in the panel, you don't need to add another.

The Elected Electrician installed my main breaker because I have a subpanel.

They have to move a 120V breaker and a 240V breaker to lower spots, so the generator breaker and the interlock plate can be installed right below the main breaker.

As I watched Juan (the electrician) work, I found his work as professional, clean, neat, friendly and quick.

He also explained that he is joining the neutral lines of two low loads that are not in the living area of house, so that the new generator breaker (high load) can attach to its own nut on the neutral bus. I really appreciate that explanation - he knew that I have some electrical background and would love this information.

I really appreciate his service as I never had my panel repaired or upgraded. He made the project so straightforward, and got it done right. I'll recommend with high confidence to friends.

Almost forgot to mention: their price is honest and very good!

I truly cannot say enough wonderful things about this company! From the moment I submitted an inquiry through Home Depot’s app for help installing a few chandeliers and ceiling fans, they stood out immediately. They were the first to respond—fast, professional, and incredibly courteous. I initially planned to get a few estimates, but after meeting Juan and experiencing their responsiveness and professionalism, I didn’t hesitate to move forward.
Here’s how fast it all happened:

Saturday – Request submitted
Sunday – Scheduled the estimate
Monday – Estimate completed
Tuesday – Quote received
Wednesday – Installation done!

Juan, the technician/installer, is nothing short of amazing. He’s not only friendly and easy to talk to, but a true perfectionist who clearly takes pride in his work. He was flexible and thoughtful when discussing the layout and positioning of the fixtures, and he made the whole process smooth and stress-free.

I’m honestly blown away by the quality of service. My only (half-joking) concern is that they’re so good, word is going to spread fast—and it’ll be harder to book them next time! This company is a rare gem. Highly, highly recommend!

OK, so these people are very nice to your face and they actually do pretty good electrical work but their service is very much crap. They don’t care about your house. They don’t clean anything and my biggest problem with this company is that they want a lot of money upfront to do their work. The guy that comes to your house will promise you the world and then he will send a crew that does completely opposite and the guy that initiated everything will not even be there to start it.
We were gonna put a pool in so we wanted some power for the pool equipment after paying $11,000 for the job they did first and the service was terrible. They charged me another 5000 for the pool equipment but I gotta put half of that upfront. After deciding, we are not going to do the pool. I’ve been asking for a refund from these people for over a month now and they seem to just want to keep my money. I call every day leaving a message with the secretary and get the same Thing. They say, We will send them a message. I never hear back. These people are crooks. they are thieves do not use this company.!!!

Mr Sparky came out to assess some issues with our fuse box and pool heater. We needed some major repairs and replacement due to age and wear. Friendly service and they explained all the repairs and showed me the reasons why. They started the repairs the same day. Recommend.

Brock is my hero! My stove caused my breaker to trip twice in an hour, and I’m glad I had the good sense to not turn it back on and call Mister Sparky. He was here way ahead of when I was scheduled for, which is better when you’re waiting for an electrician. He put me at ease by running diagnostic and establishing what my problem is. I’m glad I called!

Pretty terrible experience other than initially arriving on time. Yasser came in, tested things, literally made our problem worse, and left as soon as he could after I wasnt ready to shell out money. Never came back when we called to have him fix the problem he made worse. Would not recommend, they just want money/sell over priced surge protectors

Jonathan, Ruger, Liandy, and Dayron did a fantastic job on fixing multiple issues throughout our house. Including surge protection, smoke detectors, spa tub jets, outlets and various other things. All were incredibly friendly and very informative of telling us what they were doing as they were doing it. Would definitely recommend all of them and their knowledge. 5/5 would request these guys again if we ever have any future issues

Eric was absolutely the best!! He hung a fan, checked my home electrical, looked at my dining room chandelier and my daughter’s Bedroom lighting. He was extremely thorough, Efficient, kind and friendly. Top-notch customer service great job hiring Mr. Sparky!

After attempting to replace a residential exhaust fan, I managed to stumble into a problem I didn't feel comfortable fixing on my own. On New Year's eve, I requested their service. Smith was at the house by 9:30am and had a diagnosis of the problem as well as other issues with our 23 year old house shortly after. The suggested services seemed like an investment in the safety of our home. The services took the better part of 2 days, but their communication was great and so are the workmanship and product quality. It wasn't a perfect experience, but it was better than I expected.
