Advanced air has serviced our air conditioner for years. I've had the same service man, Patrick, during this time. I appreciate having the same service agent handling our house. He's extremely thorough and explains all issues before servicing. I highly recommend advanced air for you air conditioner needs.

Raymond Scott came to my home today for a service call. His performance was top notch. He arrived promptly. For an arrival window of 8:00am to 10:00am, Raymond knocked on my door at 8:00 am. Raymond was patient in understanding my concern, friendly, and efficient in repairs. Throughout the process, Raymond was considerate of cleanliness to the home. I am sure the technical functions of his duties are rather routine to him, but Raymond's work today involved working in a cramped area in hot conditions, and he remained cheerful throughout. When he departed, Raymond appeared to make a quick survey of the home to ensure he did not leave anything behind and all was as clean as when he arrived. Raymond's professionalism impressed me as the ideal effort, and I am thoroughly pleased with him overall.

Had to buy a new thermostat which was overpriced. I went on Amazon and found the same thermostat at less than half the price.
Technician was very helpful and professional and explained everything completely. Very knowledgeable. Liked him a lot. I thought maintenance was fair. But new thermostat was way overpriced.

Advanced Air came to provide their bi-yearly HVAC maintenance at our vacation home. This is their first visit. Raymond was awesome. Polite. Courteous. Very knowledgeable. Very thorough. I’m a commercial builder back home so I have an idea regarding HVAC systems and Raymond exceeded my expectations. Great job.

Very reliable and convenient service. Received a text from the technician approx. 30 minutes prior along with a map to track. The technician then called to introduce himself and provide eta. Josh was friendly and very efficient servicing the equipment. He changed out filters, cleaned drain lines, cleaned coils, checked refrigerant, opened up and cleaned handler and so much more. It’s comforting knowing my A/C system will be efficient in the Florida heat. Highly recommend for all of your a/c needs!

Their customer service is great! Nice to have texts updates on tech arrival (including picture so you know exactly who will be arriving. Raymond was efficient and friendly.

If I could give 0 stars then I would. You purchhase a brand new ac system with 13 uear parts and labor warranty..only for it to break down a couple years later. You have to pay the diagnosis, then pay the warranty filing fee. Only to be still be without air conditioning while you wait for the parts to come in. But wait it gets better. I call to find out when the parts will be in to be told that they havent been out since the ac was installed a couple years ago. Excuse me?? I paid your technician. Get put on hold and then be told well call you when the parts come in. Stay away

Albert serviced our unit in June of 2025 and again in January 2026.vHe is very thorough and does a great job of making sure all parts are working and clean. We had him install an air purifier which wasn't working properly and he replaced the cell that had failed. The house smells fresh and clean. Thanks Albert for being so great.

James A and Yuset C worked together for a total of 9 hours to complete the installation of my new Trane system. They were polite and efficient and left my garage neat and clean. They even emptied the dead bugs out of my 4 garage ceiling lights when I asked them to help me out. Very pleased with service!

So far impressed and pleased. Look, no one likes to face the reality that their air-conditioning unit is struggling for their life, especially before our summer months! With their financing partner, I easily got approved for a plan that made it manageable for the investment that is necessary. They kept my unit running and within 36 hours I had a brand new air conditioning system install installed. The entire team was extremely professional and answered my many questions along the way. They were thoughtful and even put rags down on my carpeting, etc. Their labor is higher than that of their many competitors, however, between reading extensively reviews and discussing this with Robert I felt confident with their warranty and their expertise, as well as experience.

Emergency service for my AC unit was required over a holiday weekend. The considerate customer service provided at the initial call by the Clerical/Office staff and the actual work completed by the AC Unit by Service Representative were above and beyond my expectations. The gentleman who worked on the unit was Pleasant, Efficient as well as Professional. In totality the service provided has confirmed Sunset Air to be a company which excels in the area of customer service and reliability.

A huge shout out to our technician, Grant. We’d had been experiencing issues with our air unit that two other technicians could not diagnose. Sunset was kind enough to then send Grant who has over ten years of experience. He called on his way and asked me to describe in detail what we were experiencing so he could brainstorm possibilities before he arrived. I’ve never had any kind of technician do that before. He arrived, was thoughtful, thorough, and professional. He correctly diagnosed our issues and made the necessary repairs. Our unit now runs as it should. Thanks Grant and Sunset Air!

Excellent service and great technician

Sunset Air installed a wine cellar cooling system that required repair work. This was done by the previous homeowner. I scheduled a service appointment, but they called and told us they wouldn’t perform the service work because they saw a competitors truck working at our home when their tech arrived. We did have another company replacing an AC unit. I was absolutely blown away and asked several times for them to perform the paid service. They would not.

They also installed a new AC unit in the home in 2022. We’ve been struggling with high humidity in the upstairs that this unit serves. Had a company perform and inspection today and found that they left a gaping 10” hole between the inside air handler and the attic. It was letting 105 degree air into the air conditioned space and the air handler already had significant condensation.

Do not use this company.

As a quick reply to Sunset’s response. That is true. I was very frustrated when they said they would not service the unit they installed because there was a competitor in the driveway. Your version of the conversation is not completely accurate, but I subsequently called back to apologize for my attitude.

None of that changes your unwillingness to enter a home where a competitors truck was parked. When I called their emergency line the night before for another issue, I had no idea that Sunset had previously worked on the home. More importantly, this doesn’t excuse a shoddy install where there is a massive hole in the wall after the replacement unit was installed. That’s just poor work that was allowing 105 degree air into the space. Of course I didn’t call for Sunset to service it because you said you wouldn’t do work at the home. Doubling down on your position tells anyone reading this review, exactly what they need to know.

I’m sure others have had great experiences with Sunset, but mine was rough.

Jacob was very professional, and he thoroughly explained everything he was doing. He provided great information on a current promotion offered by Sunset Air with no pressure to buy...just the information! Extremely pleased with the service performed by Jacob!

No matter what time day or night Savannah will Patiently answer, try to troubleshoot over the phone first, then promptly activate a call! They always save us and we will never use anyone else. Josh went above the call of duty to get our air conditioner working. The drain pipe was clogged and he cleared it the best he could but said it had to be replaced and they would be back next week, that was at mid day on Sunday. At 7.30 I had to call again as it had stopped working. He was in Cape Coral and said he would be here (Naples) as soon as he could. He arrived about 9 and worked untill 11 p.m. replacing the drain line which was totally clogged. Thank you so much Josh.
