We recently re-landscaped the majority of our yard with Wacca Pilatka. Nick and his team were super professional and very knowledgeable. Nick provided detailed estimates and was very responsive when we asked for changes. Once we approved everything, they provided a schedule and kept to it! Overall, working with Wacca Pilatka was an easy and enjoyable process! Plus, it looks great. We’ve received many compliments. Nick and his team with Wacca Pilatka did an amazing job creating my Florida native backyard. Nick listened to my goals, was very responsive to all my calls and messages, and was quite knowledgeable in both concept and design to the aftercare of the plants. After just a few days in my new backyard, I’m already seeing an increase in wildlife, from birds to bees, and it has truly turned a cookie cutter house into a home.

Fantastic experience from start to finish. Nick came up with a very reasonably priced plan for our side yard with native and Florida-friendly plants. Wacca Pilatka has three tiers of service- just the plan; the plan plus purchase of the plants; or the plan, plants, and installation. We chose the third option of all three and the process went smoothly through all three stages. Nick designed a winding pathway with native beds in each curve from a barren blank canvas of yard. We specified that we wanted mature plants, as we are older and don’t have as much time left on this earth to watch plants slowly mature!! When the plants came, Nick was particular and did not accept plants he thought inferior. He quickly got replacements of the same variety that were up to his standards.

We had a fairly tight turnaround the week of installation, and I was worried they wouldn’t be able to finish that week, but they had a full crew here working non-stop and finished when promised. Every single worker was personable, kind, and hard working. One aspect that I especially appreciated was Nick’s patience with my questions. I am not an experienced gardener (one reason I want native in addition to pollinators for native birds and bees), and he calmly explained the care and maintenance of each plant. Highly recommend!

We've been blown away by the transformation the Wacca Pilatka team has done on our property. We had some long narrow areas around the pool and a much larger bed in our sideyard that needed a lot of work. The landscape design, plant selection, prep and installation have all been amazing! Both areas had challenges such as pool plumbing and electrical, plus a sloping space. They expertly worked around those challenges and took all that into consideration with the plant selection and installation.

Our yard now looks and feels more interesting, is more attractive, and has greater biodiversity.

Wacca Pilatka is the smartest choice for anyone who cares about both their yard and nature. I saw them working on a yard over a year ago and after researching their mission and work, I couldn’t wait to secure their services. It’s important to understand you’re not hiring an average landscaper when you choose them. You will get above average knowledge and above average service. Most important to me, you will get a team who understands how and why to incorporate native plants (and some Florida-friendly plants) into your landscape.

On top of it all, they have great communication and excellent work ethics! Every crew member is very nice, well-mannered and SO hardworking. They'll patiently answer any questions you have and give you plenty of info in advance as well. In a time when it’s extremely hard to get quality service providers to even do work indoors, I just can’t believe how hardworking, efficient, and fast the Wacca Pilatka crew is, including during the hottest days of summer.

I am already thinking about what other projects they can do for other areas of our property and look forward to more services from them!

Wacca Pilatka design and install my sprinkler system. I had been in my house for over 28 years and got tired of dragging my hoses to around my yard. So I call Wacca to design install my sprinkler system. They did an excellent job and will use them in the future

A great experience overall! Nick created an awesome landscape design that totally transformed our front yard and took into consideration our wants/limitations with gardening. Nick, Tommy, and the rest of the team were communicative and great to work with. As they were working, Nick had us take a look at the plants, any substitutions, and the final layout before it was all planted. I can’t express how glad I am we used Wacca Pilatka- tons of compliments from neighbors and a yard we can feel good about.

The team of Wacca Pilatka helped us transform our Jacksonville FL front yard that was a cinch bug and fungus ridden patch of lawn surrounded by overgrown shrubs, into a Florida Friendly native plant garden attractive to pollinators.

They completed removal of previous vegetation, installed new plants, created a flagstone seating area, and repaired our irrigation, in two days.

The entire experience was exceptional. The crew is personable, arrived as scheduled, worked well together, and cleaned up, leaving us without a scrap of debris afterwards.

We are already getting compliments and questions from neighbors who are astonished how beautiful a lawn- free space can be.

After getting an astronomical quote that flew in the face of our budget from a bigger landscape company we really enjoyed working with Nick and Chris crew. He was super conscious of what we could spend and still created an amazing design. They did an fantastic job with our backyard, which had basically been a dirt pit. I almost can't believe it's our yard now. They were great at communicating when they would be here to work and what they needed. Absolutely would choose them again.

When I contacted Wacca Pilatka about a Florida native landscape design and installation, I was very happy to learn that they think about native plants as I do: the purpose of the garden is to attract, feed and provide a place for breeding and shelter for our native wildlife. They listened to my requests for specific plants and design. Besides a functional design specific to my site, they also gave me plenty of blooming natives. Sheer eye-candy! My husband and I took on this backyard project at the start of the year to remove an above ground pool that was surrounded by a very large deck. Once we removed the pool and deck we were left with a very large blank space in our yard that we dreamed of using as an outdoor living space for our growing family. We were drawn to Wacca Pilatka due to their use of native to Florida plants and from start to finish it’s been an incredible experience. Nick, Tommy, and the entire team heard our vision and made it all possible in a reasonable timeline.
