Great price, schedules work quickly and the crew did a fantastic job. They were courteous, fast and the trees look incredible now! Big Ben’s always does quality work.

This was the second time I've used Big Ben's Tree service. I didnt even get competitive quotes as I knew the quality of their work and the absolutely wonderful job they did, including clean up. A highly recommended tree service.

Big Ben's just finished trimming a hundred-year-old oak that canopies my house and that of my neighbor. The crew arrived on time and went to work immediately. They were very professional, courteous and friendly. This was an involved job which took several hours, and they worked tirelessly in very hot conditions. When finished they removed every scrap of cuttings and used blowers to clean the roofs and the driveways. They even cleaned the street in front of my house. Their rates are very reasonable and will not hesitate to use them again if/when a need arises. Highest marks to Big Ben's Tree Service!

Crew showed up on time and did a great job. They were quick and clean as well as friendly. Price was fair compared to others and work was completed as discussed.

Tremendous as always. Trimmed up one large tree, several palm trees and several Crepe Myrtle’s. Great on every aspect. The guys were all great and cleaned up the area afterwards completely. Good Job, Highly recommend if you want it done right.

My neighbor, at the rear of my property, Maxi-Mini Rentals, had Big Ben's Tree Service trim some trees. Legally they were only permitted to trim on Maxi's side of the property line. Big Ben ignored the property line, and the law, and trimmed heavily on my side.

As bad as that was, that is not the main issue. They knowingly dropped several large tree limbs, and other debris, on my property, damaging my flowers, my plants, and my personal property in the process.

Then they just left their mess for me to deal with. They made no effort to clean up their mess. No effort to remove the limbs and other debris they illegally left on my property. They made no effort to apologize or offer any remedy toward the damages they had made to my property. They literally cut and ran.

The city of Jacksonville sanitation department will not pick up the limbs they left. Tree services are required to remove ALL limbs and debris.

I contacted my neighbor, they took my contact information and forwarded it to Big Ben's Tree Service. Big Ben's response was to ignore me.
I have contacted them on multiple occasions since and have left my information on voicemail, and or their employee(s) took my information, with a promise that someone would follow up on the matter.

It has been over 2 weeks of nothing but empty promises and excuses from Big Ben's Tree Service. If I could give them less than 1 star, I would.

That was my original review for Big Ben's Tree Service. During the over 3 weeks that passed since they knowingly dropped several large tree limbs, and other debris, on my property, damaging my flowers, my plants, and my personal property in the process, I had to drag all their limbs out to the street, and then after the city refused to pick them up I had to drag them all back. Then I had to borrow a chainsaw from a friend. I had cut all the larger sections, save one, down to firewood size and planned on burning the wood in my fire pit.

The only thing left outstanding with Big Ben’s was for them to compensate me for the damage they had done to my property. The owner contacted me, inferring they would do just that. After finally receiving some positive communication from Big Ben’s Tree Service I deleted my review and thought this whole mess was over with.

However, instead of Big Ben’s Tree Service compensating me for the damage they had done to my property, they sent a crew over, without my knowledge or consent, to my home. They trespassed on my private property, which was clearly posted as “No Trespassing” They left ruts in my yard and driveway, from their truck, and they took ALL OF MY WOOD.

They took the last one of the limbs they had illegally dumped on my property, and had that been all they’d taken I wouldn't be posting this. But they also took all the wood I had spent the previous two weeks cutting and chopping into firewood. They took the wood I had been seasoning. They took bamboo I had cut and was drying to make poles from. They took every single piece of firewood, kindling, and tinder I had on my property. I’m also missing tools. I can’t say with certainty that they took my missing tools when they took my wood. I will say that I have lived here for over 10 years, and until Big Ben’s Tree Service trespassed on my property, I hadn’t had any problem with my property being damaged nor my possessions disappearing, not wood, not tools, nothing.

If I had a tree about to fall on my house and Big Ben’s was the only tree service available, I would let that tree fall. I’m not joking. If my experience with Big Ben’s has taught me anything, it’s that it would probably be less trouble to deal with a tree on my house, than to ever deal with Big Ben’s, again.

Big Ben has taken care of our arbor needs for almost 20 years. There is no other. This time it was the removal of 6 monster Azaleas. They were here 45 minutes.

We found Big Ben’s Tree Service when our previous tree trimmer directed us to Big Ben’s. They did an excellent job of communicating how they would trim our 2 palm trees and 3 Spanish Oaks. We had asked for service within a week and they scheduled an appointment for 7 days later.

We were happily surprised when they called the next day to let us know they could come out that afternoon.
The trees were trimmed as explained and look great! Thanks so much!

Review edited after company replied with excuse: after 3 days of no contact, a recptionist called us to inform us that their company contacted an attorney as a result of this being "an act of God". Hurricane Helene was an "act of God". The incompentent handling by "Ben" and his company is something else entirely. Absolutely NO ONE should ever use this company :)

On site crew damaged our house and took zero responsibility. Called company, spoke to "Ben" who said he didn't think his crew did that. He said he would arrive on site to inspect, but never did.

Receptionist called to ask for pictures to be emailed. Pictures were emailed and the receptionist called back to say that "Ben" would be on site the following day.

We are now 3 days into no one arriving on our property to inspect. "Ben" has not returned any calls, arrived on site or explained what they will be doing to repair the damage they caused.

A tree fell on the roof of the apartment above me. That was Friday morning around 10 am. A gentleman called me yesterday to find out what happened. Today, I see a village of people taking the tree down. Thank You 💯🫂🙌

The finished look is amazing! The way this team worked together, directing some traffic flow, and the best part is they cleaned off my porch from the debris. Definitely the best in Jacksonville Florida.

Big Ben's Tree Service trimmed 4 oaks trees in our front yard that were overgrown and needed trimming back. Their team arrived on time and did all of the work to my request. I was impressed by the quality and condition of the equipment they brought. The team was prompt, professional and removed all of the debris, even raking the ground so that there was no indication they had been there. This is the second time I have used Big Ben's Tree Service and will continue to call on them and recommend them to others.

Just bought a fixer uppervin Lakewood area. Called Big Ben's and with out hours Ben came out to give me an estimate. He told me tree was rotting away. He said needed to be removed. He said would be over next morning at 8 am to personally take down. He said was so high and dangerous he would take the lead. He was at my house at 8am with a crew of 8 with state of art equipment. Within 3 hours tree was removed safely. Crew was awesome and cleaned up everything. I would recommend Big Ben's tree service to everyone. Price was very reasonable for work they performed.

I hired Big Ben's Tree Service to trim several very large oak trees at my home, and they did an absolutely outstanding job. From the initial estimate to the final cleanup, the entire experience was seamless. They promptly came out to assess the work and provide an estimate, and scheduling was quick and easy. The crew was knowledgeable, polite, and professional throughout the entire process. After the trees were trimmed they removed all of the debris (including branches that had fallen in my neighbor's yard) and the proerty looked great.
