Finally, a good, honest, quality A/C company! We used Eric's company to replace the two A/C units in our condo's lobby and rec room. Quality work by an experienced crew led me to have them replace the unit in my own condo. The Goodman units Eric recommends are really good. Do your own reading and researching and you'll reach the same conclusion. Eric's pricing is very competitive and more than fair, especially considering that his crew drove two hours each way to install our 3T, 14 SEER unit. When a couple of unforeseeable challenges arose, the crew leader used sound logic and a good understanding of construction principles, HVAC, and physics to devise perfectly workable and sound solutions. I watched over his shoulder and was pleased to observe his decision-making process. We are extremely happy with our new system. Although the system we replaced was between 16 years old, it was still fully functioning and, I thought, put out a reasonable amount of cold air. How pleasantly surprised I was this morning to find humidity in our condo at only 44% with the temp set at 74. This indicates a really efficient system. What an improvement. I cannot recommend Atlantic Coast Heating and Cooling enough. You will be pleased all the way around.

This company exceeded my expectations. They were concerned about our comfort and went out of their way to help us. Their company has Quality (great system with warranty), Service (friendly staff and two year labor warranty), and Value (other quotes for the same system were $400 (no warranty with independent install) to $3500 higher.
Research showed me that the install is the most important thing. You can buy the best system and if it isn't installed correctly (nitrogen, pressure tests, line evacuation) your system will be doomed. Heat Pumps lasting 20+ years is a thing of the past, so go with a system with a good warranty and readily available parts/service. The service technicians & installers knew their stuff. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone. Get an estimate, you won't be sorry!

I highly recommend this company. On the same day we called, they came by to give us an estimate for a new (replacement) A/C system. We did get estimates from several other companies, but we liked Atlantic Coast's estimate the best. Not only was it the lowest cost, but the guys who we spoke to took time to really understand our needs, and did not try to sell us more than what we needed. They gave us some good advice on how to improve the efficiency of the system (by repositioning some return vents), and did not try to exaggerate the likely cost savings compared to our old system. We knew the installation would be difficult (air handler in the attic), but we liked the fact that they took accurate measurements, and hence were confident that the new unit would fit in the space available. When they came back to do the work, they did their job with very little mess, and had the new system up and running in a day and a half (as they said they would). Also their customer service is great. Whenever I called the office with a question, they were always quick to call back if they could not give me an immediate answer.

I used this company to install a new AC in my home. Eric gave the most reasonable quote and was able to answer all of my questions. What really made me give this company a 5-star rating are the technicians Jack and Paul. They were not only friendly and cordial, but also reassuring during the install process. They worked the entire 5 hours they were there to install the new unit. They explained everything thoroughly and when a slight problem arose they worked as a team to get it solved. The icing on the cake was instead of being anxious to leave they waited with me while I installed the thermostat app on my phone and taught me about some of the features. Unfortunately, being a single woman other companies have taken advantage of my limited knowledge of AC repair and installation. Jack and Paul and Eric did nothing of the sort. I am happy I chose them and I look forward to working with the, again!

Eric is a solid dude.
He helped me out same day even though he was slammed. He gave me a reasonable time frame to expect him and a 5 min heads up before he arrived. All of which I am very happy with.

Mahlon O. was the on call tech that came to service our ac unit tonight. Very polite technician the whole time he was here. Every question I asked he had a great answer.
After getting the unit up and running he still took the time to make sure we didn’t have any questions about the unit or air handler. Even offered a couple cleaning tips which I will certainly use.
This was one technician that made me feel like my family and I were more than just another “call”.

Cook’s service technicians are very much professionals looking to provide great service and good value. I subscribe to their gold service membership which gives me discounts on service calls. Most recently I had my outdoor temperature sensor replaced for only the cost of the service trip and an out of labor. I am a satisfied customer and highly recommend Cook’s.
