My service technician Willie was very knowledgeable and professional. From the time he arrived to the time he finished was top notch. I whould recommend United Air Temp to anyone that needs A/C work done right.

My husband was there with the tech, since I was working. He was satisfied or I would e received a call.

We have been so pleased with United Air Temp Heating and Air Conditioning of Florida. They are prompt, offering same day appointments when a call is placed. They are thorough, knowledgeable and friendly. Everyone in the company I have spoken to has gone above and beyond to make sure our AC needs are met. Erik has been our tech each time and we love his expertise and willingness to get out to help us right away. Highly recommend, we love this company.

I had a very disappointing experience with United Air Temp. Under my American Home Shield warranty, they came out to inspect my AC unit and immediately said it needed replacement. They also insisted on adding 8 pounds of Freon, and when I asked if I could provide my own Freon, they refused. This led to an additional $1,080 charge.

When I asked for clarification, they explained they would take my unit, repair it at their shop, and then reinstall it. They claimed they would not be able to recover the Freon and it would be empty, even though my AC is still blowing cold air. They wouldn't adjust the amount of Freon needed, and insisted on charging for the full amount.

I reached out to another AC company, and they confirmed that the Freon should be recovered and that my unit should indeed be replaced, not just repaired. This entire process felt like a scam to me, as it seems they want to keep charging me repeatedly.

Overall, I'm extremely dissatisfied with their service and feel like they’re not honest or transparent. I would not recommend them to anyone.

My husband and I an extremely please with the service, knowledge and professionalism Eric provided to us during one of the coldest days in Jacksonville. Out until went out and we had no heat. Eric was on time, he was respectful towards us and our home. and he immediately identified the issue and we had heat in less than 30 minutes. Thank you United Air Temp for employing knowledgeable and pleasant individuals, such as Eric.

Great service by Eric however, my Trane AC is ONLY a year old and parts are needed to be replaced. Scary . Maybe American Standard is the issue (unit) Or was it the installation that was the issue? I’m going to need an inspection of this unit to feel comfortable.

Eric took his time and checked every vent to try to locate the issue. Eric must have walked 1,000 steps back and forth. He concluded that nothing was wrong with the vents, however he does have a great idea up his sleeve and will need to return. He was open and honest and even looked you in the eye when you spoke to him. He seemed very knowledgeable and forthright.

I originally reach out for a second opinion due to an issue with my AC. Another company stated there were multiple issues with the system. United Air Temp came out and identified the simple issue and fixed it for a much more reasonable price. I purchased the preventive maintenance plan from them at the time of service. The most recent visit was for preventive maintenance. I asked if my dryer vent could be cleaned and the technician was more than willing to do it during the visit for yet another reasonable price. The technicians during both visits were extremely professional, friendly, and helpful with any questions.

I had Steven out the other day to service our AC. He fixed the problem and was very honest about what he had to do. I really appreciate honesty in today’s environment. I would definitely recommend him to my friends.

Steven from Advantech was extremely helpful in fixing our a/c unit. He was very kind, quick in responding and thoroughly explained the issue he found and options in fixing. We will be doing our maintenance plan with him going forward!

My ac guy of 15 years would not return my calls. Steven called me back within 1 minute of me leaving a message. It was 1pm and he had a 3pm appointment but he squeezed me in, replaced an air handler motor, and air was working by 3pm so I paid him.
The next day, I noticed the blower was not shutting off. I was shutting it off by the circuit breaker so he set up for the next morning. He spent 1 1/2 hours diagnosing the previous AC tech’s rig job on the wiring. He got it working and didn’t charge me. I was stunned. He’s a great guy and very personable.

First of all, I must say that Steve is not a salesman. He does not twist your arm trying to convince of why you should purchase his units over others "which I experienced with Jacksonville's top 2 companies". Steve and his crew came in the following day, and within 3 hours they had everything removed, picked up, and new unit and thermostats installed. Have nothing but positive things to say about this company! Hope to be a customer of theirs for years to come.

Steven is true professional. Gets the job done and always willing to go the extra mile. I have worked with other companies and the experience was always horrible. Thank you for making your experience convenient and easy. My ac is up and running just in time for summer!
