Generator Heroes: So in the wake of Hurricane Irma, we had no power. Living in Jupiter Farms having no power also means having NO WATER. So I called North Atlantic to fix the generator at my parents home to see if they could get them back up and running. Well Branson did not disappoint. I called them late Tuesday afternoon, after explain the situation to them and how old their generator was Branson spend his evening researching how best to repair this 11 year generator. Wednesday morning Branson calls and informs me he figure out the issue, found the part need and could be there in 30 minutes. Less then an hour after he had arrived the part was replace and the generator was up and running. Honest Service, Great Service, Caring Service.

Last year we used this company to replace all our smoke detectors. Recently we used them to replace a breaker and to install receptacles to mount our TV on the wall. Ryan, the technician, was exceptional and very handy. Ryan also installed our TV mount! I am very thankful I could get everything done with a single company. Thank you!

Bill came to do our annual maintenance today and was a great professional. We had a bad outlet and light fixture both of which he gave me options to replace. He wore a mask the whole time and was a pleasure to work with.

I had high hopes when I called their office due to all these great reviews on google but I got someone who said she was new. She sounds a bit sleepy and couldn't answer most of my questions. When I called back a bit later to speak to a supervisor (who may be more experienced) she left me hanging for over 5 mins then told me she wasn't in the office. I have smoke alarms needing attention and had wanted to know 1. Is there a call out fee or 2. free estimates? 3. How much per smoke alarm and 4. Do they have their own in stock or do I have to buy? I didn't get a straight answer to any. Any business is only as good as who answers the phone. Shame.

For starters, I have been in building for several decades. From my experiences with RAJ, I believe RAJ is arguably the least professional and most inept sub-contractor I have ever attempted to worked with. On my first attempt to have RAJ do work, they never showed up, and they never contacted me to notify me that they would not be arriving., RAJ blew me off on a Friday, on Monday, the following workday, I called RAJ and spoke to Robin, one of the owners. Robin gave excuses about an employee being out, or something; however, she was very apologetic. Why RAJ? RAJ was a Costco generator recommendation, I considered having RAJ install a whole house generator. So, after the blow-off, and speaking to Robin, I gave RAJ a "second" chance. When RAJ workers did arrive, to do the outdoor electrical, two unskilled workers showed up at my house. I told them I had an issue with the timer on the outside lights and I told them that the front lights on the outside are not working. The workers had no idea how to repair or diagnose the trouble with the outside lighting timer. So, they told me they could arrange to get me an estimate to (have someone else) diagnose what I had hired them to diagnose. Next, I was told, the front outside lighting was repaired, they did change an allegedly faulty GFI outlet. I did see some lights working; and, I was told one of the light fixtures was inoperable. Therefore, aside from what they could not figure out, I was told the job was completed. I also had a painter working, (also by the hour w no time restrictions) and I had a tile estimator waiting to speak with me. So, for the time they worked, I foolishly paid RAJ. However, the work was so poor, when I arrived at my house, later that night, I realized almost half of the lights that the RAJ guys were supposed to have repaired, did not work. The next day, when I called to enlighten them of the situation, they did not take responsibly for the poor work. Further, the workers (I’m not sure if they were licensed electricians) were so focused on doing as little work as possible, they were not even thorough enough to point the lights toward the trees. Honestly, they wanted extra money for anything and everything possible, including $42 to change each bulb. And, they wanted more money, if I chose to bury the low voltage wires in the ground. I was paying them by the half-hour. All they were concerned about was charging on top of charging. No, I did not have them change any bulbs. You would think they would at least reconfigure the lights not pointed in the correct direction. I was paying them by the half-hour, I have no idea why they would know they were expected to do a thorough and professional job. Keep in mind, like the painter, I gave them no time restriction. I expect jobs to be done once and be done thoroughly and professionally.
Lastly, I was actually giving them a third/fourth chance....During my conversation with Robin (the owner) about getting blown off for the outdoor electrical appointment, I also told her I had been having trouble getting anyone from the generator division to return my calls and texts, I had questions in regard to their generator estimate. Again, I was trying RAJ on a recommendation from Costco. Needless to say, I will share a copy of all of my phone and text attempts with Costco. Finally, I did ask the receptionist to refund my money, until the job was professionally and satisfactorily completed, .... she said it was up to the owner.... Of course, I never heard back.

I’ve used RAJ ELECTRIC INC. on multiple occasions. They ran a powered line to my new Hot Tub out on my patio (seamless), set up a nice 4 plugged box on my patio (very convenient) as well as took care of a problem with an issue at my parents home on the other side of town... they were on time, clean, respectful & very Professional.

RAJ Electric installed and maintains my 24KW home generator. They are a very professional and responsive company. Donna in the office and Paul in the field are terrific.

If you are having electric work completed by the company they are very knowledgeable, but if you are buying a generator please becareful. Contact your local county in regards to laws of placement for your generator. Please do not believe what your salesman tells you on where it can go. We had amerigas install the tank and lines, and was unaware we had been denied multiple times by the county for the placement of our generator. No one called us from the company to let us know. When we arrived home the day of the install, I found that I lost my side yard. The generator was placed right in the middle of the yard. When the guys doing the installation were asked about the placement, they informed us that it was denied by the county. We had to apply for a another permit to see if we could get permission to move it. They only gave us a few inches. Please, please, do your research with your county first, before you loose your yard too.

Heard by friends of their services and quality of work. Not many companies in Fla are trust worthy taking advantage of seniors but I found one! Service was installed generator, no need to look anywhere else. Thank you

We loved the professional staff , and work was done seamlessly, and beyond our expectations, we will definitely be doing more electrical projects in our home ,and will most definitely use RAJ .
