I made an appointment for them to come over. I figured with all the five star reviews these were my guys.

I was told that the technician would call me before coming over. So when Mike texted I called him.

Just so you know I never actually used their services because "Max" (is the name he said when I called) made it clear he didn't want my business.

Called for a simple dryer vent cleaning--thought might be an issue with the vent installation based on what my prior handyman said. Instead of coming over and diagnosing the issue, I got the third degree.

"Do you own the house?" (Why would I call if I didn't?)

"How do you know it's the vents?" (Because that's what happens when dryers don't dry?)

Then he tells me I need to check for blockages in the vent.

Isn't that... your job?

When I asked if he actually wanted the work, the attitude got worse. So when he asked if I still wanted him to come over, I said no, I think I'll pass.

Look, I'm not asking for a red carpet. Just basic professionalism.

If you enjoy being questioned like a suspect in your own home, Max is your guy.

Everyone else... keep looking.
