From the first phone call to our last text, Paul and Erika went above and beyond to ensure the carpets in my home were as clean as they could be and that I was satisfied.

I called Paul on a referral. He explained his process and pricing to me and we set a date for him to clean 3 carpeted rooms in the home I was moving out of. One of the rooms had been where an older dog stayed and the smell and discoloration was a big concern. I stressed the importance of making sure it was as clean as could be to get my deposit back.

Paul and his team were on time, gave me updates, and progress pictures while I was at work. The photos looked amazing. When I got back the house the carpets were still drying so I was unable to assess the quality.

Next day, the worst carpet looked 50% better and the others looked near new! However, the house smelled of dirty water and pet dander in store from the cleaner lighting it all to the surface- so I did the thing I hate doing and shot Paul a text letting him know of my concerns. He immediately called me to figure out a solution. I’ve never had a vendor so ready to ensure I was happy.

Paul and Erika came back out the next day and redid all of the carpets using a different solution. When I got back that day it was night and day difference. I can’t thank Surface Experts enough for the quality and care they put into making sure that my carpets were clean and I was satisfied.

We recently hired Paul on the recommendation from our extremely meticulous neighbor. She had her floors buffed as well as a few other services and just raved about him!! Well, we need our Travertine floors buffed and polished, so we had him come out to look at them for an estimate.While we were talking, I mentioned that we are going to have to replace the carpet in our 3 bedrooms. He asked if he could see them, so he looked and told me that he could clean them for us and we probably wouldn't need to do that. I was skeptical, but what did we have to lose? Well...when he was done, our 17 yr old carpets looked like new!! We were beyond impressed! I would trust Paul to work on anything in our house! We are going to have him repair and buff our Travertine Floors , our granite countertops and clean our area rugs and upholstery! I am an established Realtor in St Pete and am beyond thrilled to have been introduced to him! Paul and Erika did an amazing job restoring a badly neglected bathroom and shower for one of my clients looking to sell her condo. They repaired damaged shower tile and grout, removed molded caulking, and cleaned and resealed grout on the floor. When I reached out, Paul was quick to respond to set an appointment. They even moved some things around to come work on Thanksgiving week to get the job done quickly. I am very happy with the results and will continue to use Paul and his Surface Experts team.

Paul & Erica cleaned our 2 year old tile floors and made them look new! We had a lot of dirt buildup and it was difficult for me to get it clean. I am so happy when I see my tile floor and how it looks new again! They use protectors on the corners of your walls and furniture to make sure they don’t damage anything during the process. Paul stands behind all his work and if you have any issues he will make it right. He’s one of the most honest, ethical business owners I know! Our home was flooded during Milton and we had a real challenge getting everything put back together. Once we made it through the clean up, the debris removal, the permits, the rebuild, the inspections…it was time to bring in a specialist to clean the floors post construction. After talking with several companies about my cleaning needs, I selected Surface Experts. I am very happy to say Paul and Erica did an outstanding job cleaning the floors. All of the construction residue was cleaned away and our new floors look even better than the store display. If you want a company that will focus on the cleaning details, and do it for a reasonable price, I suggest giving Surface Experts a call. From my experience, I don’t think you will be disappointed.

Paul was very professional and attentive right from the start. I reached out to him because he came highly recommended by a friend. He immediately called me back and spoke to me about my needs. He told me about his company and what he offers, gave me a quote after I sent him some photos and we set a date. He came on time, fully equipped and used gear to protect my walls and other furniture. He got to work right away and i did an incredible job and I’d say went above and beyond. He cleaned everything up perfectly looking like new and left me feeling great with clean furniture. I was so impressed that I am having him come back and also do my floors. Surface Experts is a wonderful small business that really cares for their clients. Customer service is five star status. Paul is a gem and I’m so glad that I found him. I will be using him for regular maintenance on my business and also my home. Paul and Erica did an excellent job at my home. My Saltillo tile was in desperate need of a clean. Paul took the extra time to meet with me to test out grout stain colors and helped me pick the perfect one (see pictures: before while testing grout colors, after the clean - grout is actually a sand color, and completed project - stained the grout to blend more with the tile). They also cleaned, stained the grout white, and sealed the showers. One bathroom's wall tile was almost a red color, and it ended up taking at least double the amount of time expected to get it back to white. Paul and Erica didn't give up and completed the job on time, in budget, and met my expectations. Paul was so kind to also take care of a couple other small jobs outside of the scope: re-caulk the tub, caulk around the bathroom sink, polish my kitchen sink and fridge AND show me what products to use to keep everything in tip top shape. He also left me with the cleaning products! Getting a home ready for move-in isn't easy, so I can't thank Paul and Erica enough for their work. It was a pleasure working with them. Thank you!

My mother bought a condo where the prior owners were extreme smokers. Nicotine tar covered everything walls, floors, tile etc. there was a film over everything and smelled of heavy smoke.

So we painted and it helped it still the smell of as there. So we had the air ducts cleaned better but, the smell remained. So I called surface cleaner experts and spoke with Paul who came out and took a look and assured me they could handle this job.

Once they were done it is like we are walking into a different place. Floors are so clean the bathroom tile is amazingly clean. The best part can’t smell that smoke in the place anymore.

To say we recommend this company is an understatement. If you n de floors cleaned or grout and tile . Don’t even bother calling anyone else else just call Surface Experts the name says it all.

Paul was amazing. So friendly and he pitched a job to clean my terrazzo floors and couch, said it would be a 3 day job and he got it done in one. He works hard and hes one of the nicest guy ive ever met. Im not christian but i know he is one and if ive ever seen someone walk close to god its him. In the way he acts the way he treats others with respect and kindness and how hard he works. My floors are sparkling almost like theyre still wet, theyre that shiny. My couch has been given a new life the fabric FEELS clean it feels like i just got it. Amazing job Paul thank you so much.

Paul and Erika did a great job cleaning my tile floors! The grout was stained pretty bad, and they were able to get it back to it's original color. It looks so much better! Communication and scheduling was easy too!

I’d give 10 Stars if given the option!! My clients recently purchased a vacation rental condo in Madeira Beach and tasked me with the job of a light reno and making sure the place was sparkling. You could tell the tile floors had never been deep cleaned; the grout was so dark. After reading all of the amazing reviews for Surface Experts, I knew just who to call. Paul immediately called to discuss the work and understood our quick timeline to get this done. He was pleasant, asked great questions and worked to get us on their schedule in the next few days. Knowing we couldn’t lose the whole work day, he and Erica even showed up early, at 7:30am, to get a head start on the project. I was so grateful! Paul communicated throughout the entire process. They even pulled out the refrigerator, cleaned under the range, included the balcony, and moved and cleaned under every single piece of furniture! I was not expecting that at all. Talk about impressive! The floors are glistening now and look brand new! The price was super reasonable and the service was outstanding!! We had the pleasure of having Paul and Erica restore and regrout our master bathroom, kitchen and guest bathroom. They did an amazing job. A few years back we had a “professional grout” company do similar work and they took 13 hours and did an abysmal job.

As I said before, Paul and Erika did an amazing job in half the time. The overall result has left all three areas looking as if they were brand new.

I have no hesitation in recommending their work. Both were very detailed in what they did and left the rooms immaculate. You can tell that they take pride in their work.

Wow!!!!!! I really don’t know where to begin. Paul and Erica made our holiday season and I’m not exaggerating at all. We have travertine floors with grout and both were dirty from years of heavy traffic and dogs. When Paul agreed to take the job of cleaning our floors we kept our expectations low as we could have never imagined the results they would provide. Our floors look new again and most importantly the grout is light and clean making the whole house feel cleaner and brighter. The only complaint I have is that I was close to committing to new floors and thanks to Paul and Erica we love our floors again so no changes coming anytime soon!!

Surface Experts did an excellent job cleaning my tile floors. They were prompt in responding to all of my inquiries, took time to understand the type of flooring so that they could tailor their services to my needs, and promptly showed up to my residence at the time they promised. They also quoted me a price that was completely fair and reasonable.

Erica and Paul did a great job prepping the area (including protecting fixtures) and had the floors cleaned in a surprisingly quick time, removing years of built up dirt. Even our small children noticed a difference and thought we got new floors! Five stars all around.

Here’s some before and after shots!

Paul and Erica came and colorsealed my terra cotta tile floors in my kitchen and sunroom. They quoted me a reasonable amount and said they would have it done in a couple of days. I guess there was something about my specific grout that made it a lot more challenging and tedious than they were used to, so it ended up taking them six days instead of two, which was fine. I appreciated them sticking with it and finishing the job.

I'm taking off two stars because the finished result wasn't professional. I specifically asked at the beginning to make sure there would not be any grout paint left on my tiles, and Paul assured me there wouldn't be. But when they just left today, I found many, many spots, especially in the kitchen, where the paint was messily applied, and left on my tile, or not fully covering the grout. There were also many spots where the grout paint was applied much too thickly and didn't bond to the grout, and now is peeling off as I try to clean the edges up.

Also, the stain was stripped from my wood surrounding the tile, which isn't ideal, as it has patina and will not be easy to match. There were also paint spots left on my upholstered bench where Paul was sitting when he took breaks, which I noticed and removed myself.

I understand the job was taking a long time, and I'm very grateful they finished it, or at least came close. I will do the remaining touchups myself. Paul told me many times in no uncertain terms that he was losing money on this job because it was taking so much longer and more materials than he expected. Like I said, I'm grateful, and I know it isn't easy work. I gave them a solid tip. I would just expect a more polished finished product if you say you're "finishing the job."

Paul is fantastic. He came to our home for an estimate, sch ruled the ground cleaning and came on time and most importantly did a fantastic job. He moved all our furniture and said d he would be done in 3 hours which I thought was quick for an entirely tiled 1400 square ft home. I did not get another satiate bc he had just done a friends who did the legwork. Her tile was grouted and never properly wiped off and then had paper over it for months following the hurricane. It looked horrible and Paul made it shine and smell great. Highly recommend. Extra plus, he sent m husband and I an anniversary card. Who does that? Paul does. Paul also came back free of charge to clean an area I thought could be better. No problem , no questions. Integrity to th nation h degree. Highly recommend.
