Our 2 year old A/C unit. started making a loud grinding noise outside..My regular A/C Company came & examined the unit. The compressor was shot. The parts had a 10 year warranty. labor, & freon was not covered they quoted over $2,000 to do the job. I called this new company NX GEN Heating and Cooling. The Owner of the company came out & confirmed that the Compressor was bad. The quote they gave me was exactly the same work, parts, & Freon. The price to do the job they saved me hundreds of dollars. Rodney at Nx Gen Heating & Cooling is the epitome of customer service. His knowledge, attention to detail and expertise is beyond what any other HVAC company can and will offer you. Not only will NxGen install, repair or service your system, he will educate you on what he is doing, needs to do and how to prevent issues in the future. Rodney recently installed a Honeywell Smart Thermostat for my in-laws that I purchased them as a gift. He could have installed it and left us with the manual to register it, set up the phone app and connect to the home Wi-Fi. But he didn't. He stayed, connected it to their Wi-Fi, made sure they understood how to program the T-stat using their phone & the app and explained all the Thermostats features. If that isn't what customer service looks like, then I don't know what does. I would recommend Rodney & NxGen Heating & Cooling over any HVAC company out there. In SWFL, air conditioning is an important piece of our homes - do not trust yours with anyone else.

So many positive things about this company. I was out of town the entire weekend came home Sunday evening and my ac was not working. Called Rodney he came out right away and had my ac up and running in no time. He made time to go over everything and even asked about my weekend! I called nxgen out yesterday because my AC went down. I am aware my system is 14 years old and was scared what the tech was going to sell me. Rodney showed up to my house same day. He was very clean and thorough. He did inform me that it was past it's life expectancy but that's as far as that went. He cleared my drain and cleaned my system. The system is running great! Glad I finally found an honest AC company

Rodney and NX Gen are amazing, called based on an emergency issue with our A/C, within minutes I received a call back was scheduled and received a rapid response. Rodney was able to get out to us even earlier than scheduled, promptly assessed the situation and repaired our unit. Was super impressed by the professionalism and rapid response time.
