Robin and his son Bryan of RNR Plumbing came out the same day I called them and helped me with a clogged drain line that was causing two bathrooms to back up. In both bathrooms the toilets would not flush and water was coming up through the shower in one of the bathrooms. Also, running the water in the sinks would cause the water in the toilets to rise. This happened on the day after I had a different plumbing company (large corporate company) come out for the same issue and charge me $1,400. This review is a 5-star positive review for RNR plumbing but I want to note the following to illustrate the difference between RNR Plumbing and a large corporate company. The larger company told me my house did not have a main clean-out, and one of my drain lines needed to be replaced. They charged $600 to run a camera about 5 feet into the drain line and never went any further because the camera hit some standing water in the pipe. To search for the clean out, they used a tool to trace my drain pipes but said the results were inconclusive and they could not determine where the pipes exited the house and the house was likely built without a clean out. They put very little effort to probe or look for a clean out. They tried digging in a spot I already tried and also did one probe where their tool indicated one might be. They said the problem could not be 100% fixed without replacing the drain line, but that the bathrooms would drain better after the hyrdo / power flush they did. Since the problem came back the following day, even worse than it originally had been, I decided to get a second opinion. That's when I called RNR Plumbing. I chose to call them because they did not appear to be a large corporate company, and they were local to my area. They took the time to fully investigate my problem. While Robin said it could be possible there was a problem with a drainpipe, he suggested starting again with a simple clearing of the lines, and doing some more investigation to try and find a clean-out. Sure enough, my home DID have a clean out, and after they actually took the time to look for it, they found it. Additionally, they found a clog, which Robin showed me upon pulling the drain "snake" out of the line. They then took quite a bit more time, running the snake again and flushing / running water through every drain in the house, observing it flow free with the cap removed from the clean-out. Robin took a lot of time to listen to my concerns and provide advice. The cost of having RNR come out and save the day was a TINY FRACTION of what the larger company charged. I will use them again and highly recommend to anyone needing a good local plumber that will take the time to actually help the customer.
