Quick, efficient, knowledgeable, fair, and most of all HONEST! Had an issue with an old AC fuse box that almost caught fire, mind you this is January 2nd that I'm writing this review, Manny at Margate Electric got out of his way to help my family and I while no one else would, something rare these days. Manny is now my GO TO electrician and will be sure to recommend him and Margate Electric to anyone who needs their services.

I had an excellent experience working with Manny and highly recommend him. He ran several new electrical outlets throughout my house and installed 22 recessed lights, and the results were flawless. He worked quickly without ever cutting corners, double-checked everything to make sure it was done right, and offered valuable recommendations on outlet and light placement that really improved the final outcome.

Manny was easy to work with, professional, and respectful of my home. He cleaned up thoroughly after the job and even followed up a few days later to make sure everything was working properly, which really shows how much he cares about his work and his customers.

This is the second time I’ve used Manny, and once again he scheduled around my needs and made the whole process stress-free. Reliable, knowledgeable, and detail-oriented—I wouldn’t hesitate to use him again.

Manny was great! Would definitely hire Margate Electrical again! He was on time, friendly, knowledgeable and even took the time to explain what needed to be done and why. Left everything clean and ready to go. The absolute definition of professional. I would gladly recommend him to friends, family and anyone scrolling through these reviews.

2.5 months ago Mister Sparky replaced an entire breaker panel in my apartment. The tech at the time told me that they would pull a permit in a few weeks they would be returning with someone from the city to inspect and approve the work. Inside of the total cost I paid a $400 fee for permitting. After 2 months of 0 contact, I reached out myself to check up on this. No one was able to provide any answers, I've been transferred to empty voicemails, and told that there was no permit information available, and that they were not able to get in contact with their permitting department. I was told that someone would reach out to me in 24-48 hours, that was a week and a half ago. At this point I have called around 5 times, and received 0 guidance or answer, I just want this issue to be resolved.

I was uncertain about what to think regarding this experience. I have used your company several times in the past, although not through this new Margate office. Your company previously installed my electric car charger and replaced the fluorescent lights in my garage with LED fixtures. The electrician Dakota who came from the Palm Beach County office was knowledgeable, professional, and very helpful.

However, this recent experience left me feeling frustrated and disappointed. I felt as though Luis was more focused on generating additional charges than on resolving my actual issue. His recommendation $3900.00 to rewire six lights and the switch in my kitchen did not seem to be a genuine solution, and I did not feel confident that he properly diagnosed the problem.

Additionally, I did not request an evening appointment. I was scheduled for one without being asked, and then informed of an increased charge for a night visit. At no point was I told that the time selected would result in an additional fee. The appointment was simply scheduled without offering me the option of an earlier time at the regular rate.

To make matters worse, he did not reinstall my light switch cover properly, and I had to go back and fix it myself.

The technician, Dakota, installed a new electrical box and timer for my pool, as well as replaced/rerouted the whips that hold the service wiring. This was all done professionally and for a reasonable cost. I would use this company again for my electrical needs. Dakota gets 10 stars for being courteous, professional & knowledgeable in his field.

I had an excellent experience with this electric service. Jose was very attentive and took the time to address every issue in my home. He explained everything clearly and made sure all the problems were fully resolved. I'm very satisfied with the quality of his work and highly recommend him!

The technician that came to my house, Francis Collins, was courteous, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful with all the issues I have been having with electrical in this house. I would highly recommend his company to friends and family in the future. I especially appreciate his time he spent And his knowledge and presentation was excellent.

Francis did an amazing job - explained all my options in a simple format. He went the extra mile and went and got a ladder that he needed to do the job. Mr Sparky will get my business moving forward.

On two different occasions I called upon Mister Sparky to resolve electrical issues in my home and with my swimming pool equipment. On both occasions, Mr. Steve Martin was the Mister Sparky electrician. He quickly resolved the problems to my complete satisfaction. I found Steve to be very personable, professional and obviously very knowledgeable. He answered my many questions and took the time to explain things to me. I will definitely call upon Mister Sparky in the future when I need an electrician. And I certainly hope they will once again dispatch Steve to my home.

Great service from John and the other guy! Super friendly and down to earth. Didn’t feel pressure for having to get any other work that I needed but appreciated all their advice and will use them for future work.

I had the pleasure of working with Andrew from Mister Sparky for an income safety inspection and the installation of a 220V outlet for my electric vehicle charger. He installed a 40-amp breaker and handled everything with professionalism and precision.

Andrew Manson was polite, efficient, and clearly takes pride in his work. He showed up on time, worked hard without wasting a minute, and explained everything clearly. What really stood out was his attention to detail and commitment to doing the job right and safely. He even made sure the work area was clean before leaving.

John was very patient explained everything clearly. After some negotiation we were able to determine high priority repairs and all went well. Two additional men were introduced via text and completed the job well. Left the place clean and in good order. Good experience all in all.

Amazing Service! Full panel rebuild 50 for 50 deal ( Replace all switches and outlets ) Ground wire FPL Installation, Tankless Water Heater Wiring, New 240 Lines, AC System Surge Install, NEW GFIS. They corrected MANY Errors made by previous contractors and explained everything as they did it, were fun to hang out with, They wont be the cheapest, but you get what you pay for.

Follow up to my last post (yesterday) Will Pierre arrived and assessed the area where the new outlet was to be installed, went to his truck, got the necessary equipment, came back and got down to business and within 3 hours I had everything I had expected from Mr. Sparky the day earlier. Thank you Will for your excellent work, professionalism, attention to detail and asking for my input to ensure the outlet was strategically placed due to the nature of the upcoming closet remodel. Great Job!

Steve Martin, the electrician, came out to my home today to provide a quote, and I was extremely impressed. He was very professional, courteous, and clearly knowledgeable. He took the time to explain everything thoroughly and answered all of my questions with patience and confidence.

I found him to be intelligent, honest, and easy to work with, which is very important to me when choosing someone for my home. I will absolutely be using Steve in the future and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable electrician.

Francis was great! He REALLY knows his stuff. He was able to diagnose my problem within minutes. And he didn't even charge me for the service call. I intend to use Mr Sparky for ALL of the electrical work in my house. And I would recommend them to anyone looking for a FAIR and HONEST contractor.
