First we'll start off with plumbers who showed up on-time. That's right - they told me when they would be there, and they were.

Is addition, they were always courteous, communicative, and professional. The issues were addressed as they arose (it was ultimately a "remove multiple toilets and then cut open the wall" type of job) and I was always informed of additional costs before they were incurred. When necessary even the owner stopped by to review the situation.

10/10 Dovi's is the plumber I call to handle any future plumbing needs.

We used Dovis plumbing to do a complete repipe of the house. They did our neighbors house and were recommended to us. David first came out to give us a quote and answered all our questions and we decided to use them after multiple estimates from other companies. They showed up the days they said they would and did a great job with the plumbing. They are a little on the pricey side (won’t negotiate price) but I guess that’s what good work cost. I also had an issue and they said it would be taken care of after we paid them the final balance and sure enough they came and took care of the issue. Thank you Dovis!

I called Dovis plumbing because I had an issue with the flow rate of my hot water heater. The company sent Joel. He Was warm and friendly. I shared with him my concerns and he took a look at my problem. He realized it was something beyond a simple fix and so told me that I would need to pay a $150 diagnosis fee at the time I thought it was expensive but choose to move forward with Joel (best choice I could have possibly made) i then proceeded to see Joel Turn over every possible loose rock and do more due diligence than I’ve ever seen to figure out the problem. I realize very quickly that my $150 was well spent. After speaking with the manufacturer of the hot water heater, on my behalf, Joel gave me some possible solutions. We were not prepared to do the long-term solutions, but Joel made me so confident that when we are ready to do all of the work, he and his team are the best people to do the job. I’m so thankful I called Dovis plumbing

The techs were nice, the work seems solid, the price, however, was quite high. A labor rate just shy of $1000 per hour - brain surgeons are paid less. $475 for 30’ of work replacing a leaky P trap with a single piece of PVC pipe* under my kitchen sink. If you have more money than you know what to do with, this might be the company for you. Not for the faint of heart.
*Correction: Davis from Dovis called to inform me that all of the pipe work under my sink was replaced, not just the leaky section, presumably to extend the life of the repair which is not a permanent fix but an improvement on the jerry rig that was there previously from a former owner. This repair included several additional pieces of PVC and a higher quality metal nut beneath the strainer. In light of this, I have adjusted my rating a bit. Another point of contention was the length of time that the techs were at my house, which I was told was an hour and a half. I can only account for 10’ of assessment and explanation, the 30’ of work, and 5’ for payment. The rest of the time they were outside my home.
My overall assessment remains the same - that the work seems solid but the price is too high. If money is no object and you want to make sure things are done right, I would not necessarily rule out Dovis. If you are on any kind of a budget, I would suggest you solicit other estimates.

We hired a company to re-pipe our house, and they botched the whole job, as we had 4-5 different leaks within 48 hours of them finishing the majority of the work. We then hired Dovis, which we wish we had done from the beginning, and they successfully stopped the leaks, and fixed/improved the work done by the other company. They are extremely responsive, efficient, and clean. David was easy to work with, and Shawn and Josh did a great job with the work.

Great experience with Dovis Plumbing. Professional, knowledgeable and courteous. I had 2 plumbing estimates. Technician Juaneal gave me 4 options in my estimate, and answered all my questions.The other firm didn’t show for the 1st appointment and rescheduled for the next day and their price was significantly higher. The office worked to get me on the schedule the next day, a Friday, so I would have hot water for the weekend. Juaneal was professional, knowledgeable and courteous. He worked in a very confined space, completed the work, left the area clean and answered all my questions. Thank you again Juaneal! This project required an electrician that Dovis set up. She came in after the old tank removal and did her work in a professional and courteous manner. There was no delay in coordinating the two trades. I’m very happy with Dovis Plumbing customer service. I will definitely recommend.

I called Dovis plumbing to fix our toilet in Davie and they came out right away. David gave me options to replace the toilet or try and fix out very old toilet.
