Reviews of local pros in Nokomis, Florida

Prompt and took the time to figure out what was causing my problem and was able to fix it without costing me a fortune. Thank you

We highly recommend Best Electric. We recently installed a new electrical panel and from start to finish excellent service.

Great hometown service. Prompt and honest. After my old electrician retired I needed a new one for the many projects at the house I take care of on the water. Highly recommend them. Give them a call.

Best Electric lives up to their name. Professional, prompt, knowledgeable, and courteous service at a fair price. I have used them for about 20 years now , and would not call anyone else.

I have used Best Electric for some years now for many issues with my home and rentals. They are always professional, prompt and a pleasure to work with.

Very pleased with the service I received. Carl was patient and informative and took the time to walk around explain everything. Very impressed and would absolutely recommend this company.

Very happy with the service received from Best Electric. They were a recommendation to me and I would be happy to recommend them to others. Professional and pleasant company. Great communication and quality work.

When the technician came to give the estimate, he did not seem very knowledgeable about installing ceiling fans. He was dismissive of the brands I had purchases despite them coming from a fan company that has operated in the area for 50 years and despite the 5 star ratings the fans have. He said I would have done better to buy fans from a big box store. Also, then was hesitant to say that the wiring in the attic could be done. Overall, when he left I was not confident he could do the job. When I called the office, they said they would send the estimate and I could decide what I wanted to do. They never sent me the estimate, so I guess since I complained about that technician, they didn't want my business.

Todays job was a rush and they scheduled everything as we needed. I have been dealing with Best Electric for many years with small and large jobs and they always take care of the problem or do the install quickly and at a fair price. I highly recommend them.

Very experienced team, always great advise. Clear direction on what is necessary and what not and no unnecessary work. Very happy

Best Electric is a very reputable company. They completed many tasks in my house. Workers were always polite and courteous, never leaving any mess. From the first call made to set up service, to the completed job, everyone I encountered was extremely professional and accommodating. I definitely recommend Best Electric and will never use anyone else.

I have been using Best Electric since I moved to Osprey, Fla 6 yrs ago. I had an older home recently renovated with wiring and switches everywhere, completely screwed up. Ron and Carl spent a lot of time in my residence for sure. I had them out today to update the electrical panel and install a generator switch. These guys are professional, I would recommend them to anyone. Their prices are very fair and competitive. They are friendly, will answer any of your questions, they are just likeable. On a scale of 1 - 10, a 10+ for sure.

We purchased a home in Palmer Ranch in Sarasota. Home built in 1998 and many of the systems (electrical, plumbing, etc.) needed updating. Our real estate agent recommended Best Electric of Sarasota (be careful because there are 2 Best Electrics in the Sarasota area) and Ron and Carl came in and corrected failing circuits (breaker tripping), incorrectly wired circuits, moved circuits for us, updated bathroom fans and fixtures and just did an excellent job. They were quick, neat, on-time and a pleasure to deal with. I also dealt with Ruth via phone/email/text and she was also a pleasure to work with. We basically had two electricians on site for a total of 2 days and the cost was very reasonable. I would happily recommend them. We plan to do some renovations in the near future to the house and will definitely be using them again.

I’ve used Best Electric numerous times for my business and my home. They do great work and have fantastic customer service. The technicians are meticulous and very detailed in their installations. They’ve done everything for me from basic installations to panel work. I highly recommend them to everyone that asks for an electrician.

I have used several electricians in Sarasota county. All were good. However, the best by far is "Best Electric." It is a small family run business. They all have extensive experience and are very helpful. I highly recommend them.

I wondered if a dedicated outlet for my Honda 2200 would be a good idea? Carl was do honest with me … he told me my generator was on the small side to invest $1200-1500 as it would only run my refrigerator & possibly a fan but not much more. Carl then took the time to talk to me about running my generator monthly & even told me where to get the best fuel for it!! What a nice man he is & I so appreciate his honesty… I would recommend Best Electric of Venice to anyone! I have used them before & will certainly will use only them the future!!

The whole operation is no nonsense, great work quality, affordable, with excellent customer service

Best Electric is really the best! They repaired 4 items and the price was very reasonable. Professional and courteous. I will only be using Best in the future.

During this time due to the most recent hurricanes, Carl and his company is crazy busy - he made time to come to my house as I am selling and needed some electrical repairs prior to closing. He has given me his most honest opinion, given me advice and has gone above and beyond to make sure that the house is up to the safest standards to help me to close on time. I cannot thank him enough for all of his knowledge not just with the electrical but his experiences in the processes of buying and selling homes. I would recommend him and his company to anyone and will be in the future!

Wonderful Service on a Weekend! Carl took his time to install sconces and rectify an outlet issue. In no time at all Carl resolved the issue and installed our sconces. Ruth is a dream when answering customer questions! Thanks too, to Ron for his expertise!

Carl installed several fans and a very beautiful, yet very heavy chandelier in our new construction home. He was professional, efficient and clean. We truly could not be more pleased with Best Electric from their office staff to the professionals in the field. We would highly recommend.
