Evergreen formerly known at Service choice is horrible…. I WAS a long time standing client. I originally started with them for whitefly in my ficus. Everything was good for quite some time. Then I started noticing about 2 years ago that even though they were treating my ficus I was still always infested. I would have the tech return and it became a problem. I later found out the tech wasn’t mixing chemicals incorrectly and I was basically paying for water. So they sent out another tech, and he was then fired. Zae came out when he got word of the repeated issues I was having and he did his best to rectify the situation and even gave me a credit. But the issues continued and but by then 3 tech had been let go. All while Evergreen was taking over. Fast forward to Iate 2023 early 2024 I picked up a lawn plan with them in hopes that treating the ornamentals would help with the whitefly and help continue the progress I had made on my lawn. I was wrong. My ficus were still infested with whitefly andi still getting the run around Late June early July my grass started to turn brown. I made several attempts to get this rectified but I was met with more excuses. One tech says it’s fungal, which I pay them to treat, one tech says it’s insect which I also pay them to treat. They would say someone was coming out and never show, sometimes this would go one for several weeks. It got to the point where I was paying for the excuses and I warned Evergreen that I was going to cancel my service if they didn’t fix the problems. Needless to say I cancel. My ficus are almost non existent right now, my grass is brown and full of bugs and my ornamentals are now also infested with whitefly. EVERGREEN IS A HORRIBLE, MONEY HUNGRY COMPANY, THEY DONT CARE ABOUT ANYTHING BUT MONEY!! I included pictures of my lawn in the beginning of June 2024 and what it looks like now, and included my non existent ficus and the whitefly eggs, fungus and eggs

I recently had a pest problem at my home, and I have to say, Jeffery from Evergreen Pest Control was absolutely outstanding! He came out really promptly, was super professional, and clearly knew his stuff about what was bugging me. He didn't just rush in; Jeffery took his time to really check out the whole place and then patiently explained exactly what he was going to do to fix it, answering all my questions. Honestly, since he did his thing, I've seen a huge difference – way fewer pests! I'm really happy with how everything turned out and would totally recommend Jeffery and Evergreen Pest Control if you need someone reliable.

Jimmy is the best! He has been servicing our home for years, and is always friendly and professional. He takes the time to explain everything and whenever we have a situation, he makes sure it is handled quickly and completely. We always know we can rely on him. Highly recommend!

Evergreen is a great company. I called them after having the major lawn care company for about a year…I had a field of weeds. Patrick from Evergreen was my initial contact. He listened patiently and gave me assurance that we could turn things around. I fired the other and hired Evergreen on the spot. Next Vinny came out and spent more time assessing the lawn, trees and bushes. Very helpful, knowledgable, great communication. Such an improvement from their competition.

We were so pleased with Jeffery's service. He's clearly very dedicated to his work and has a knack for solving pest problems effectively. Jeffery took the time to thoroughly assess the situation, explain the best course of action, and then execute the treatment with great precision. He left us feeling confident that the issue was fully resolved. His commitment to customer satisfaction is evident, and we would gladly recommend him!

I just hired this company, but I need to mention the one reason I did was because of Mike. Not saying the company isn't worth hiring, but I'm saying that Mike made an impression on me. I had Trugreen for near a year and I didn't have a good experience. They don't seem to care very much.

Mike came to give me a quote and discuss my needs, and he is an expert in his field. I love seeing people love what they do, because you don't see it much anymore. He was kind, very educated and prompt. I have a lot that needs to be handled in my yard, and I look forward to seeing the outcome!

Had to cancel day before long scheduled service because of "our location". Obviously our building didn't move since they quoted us and committed to the job so we were surprised by this. Pretty huge waste of time since we stopped looking for a company to do this since we paid them and reserved the date. Would not recommend.

I have been using Hugh Turner Pest Control for over 20 years----both at my office building and residence---great people to work with, and very reasonably priced. I highly recommend them to others. Rick Gibbs

The short of it: After nearly three weeks and three home inspections, Hugh Turner informed us that they would not tent our 3/2 home. Their reason was because of a few ferns and a temporary trellis.

The full story: An inspector from Hugh Turner showed up exactly when they were scheduled to and was very professional and courteous. We walked the property and spoke about all of the preparations needed to tent, including the clearing of a small alley that is overgrown with ferns and the need to detach a trellis from the wall of our house. He took measurements and went on his way.

After a week with no response, we called their office to find out about the quote. They didn't know who was at our house to inspect, and they would look into it. The next day the same employee showed up at the house and informed us they had lost his measurements. He remeasured the property and left.

Another weekend passes and Monday brings a new employee to our door to measure the property, again. He promises a quote within 24 hours and measures our property for the third time. The following day, we receive a message saying they won't tent because of ferns and a trellis.

I called the office to discuss, and they will not discuss the property any further. When I remind the employee on the phone that the trellis and ferns will be removed before tenting, she replies that they can't tent with the foliage and trellis in place. We go in circles of "we will remove the foiliage and trellis" with the response something to the effect of "we can't do it with the foliage and trellis in place".

After two trips around this nonsensical merry go round, I hung up.

Save yourself the time, effort, and money. Call anyone else.

Hugh Turner Pest Control has been our exterminator for well over 20 years. The company was referred to us by a friend who had used them for a long time. When we moved into this house in 1994 Hugh himself came out to do the inspection and we continued our monthly service in this new location. We have had lots of pets and we have had lots of concerns about things we had "heard" over the years but Hugh Turner has been there for us at every turn. In a lifetime of making bad choices, marrying my wife and hiring Hugh Turner are the 2 BEST decisions I have made!

Great service starting with my initial inspection for termites. Mark was very thorough and explained everything to me. I had multiple inspections and quotes prior and he was the only one who went into my attic(without me asking) to assess the entire situation before giving me a plan. He even stopped by the day of the treatment to make sure everything was going as previously discussed. Although the problem of termites was stressful, I felt very comfortable and satisfied with the treatment received.

Hugh Turner Pest Control has been my service of choice for 10 years now. For me it is very important to know that when I call up with an issue i.e. ants in the house, yellowing grass, etc. there is always someone personally taking my call and making sure to send someone out asap. They really care about your satisfaction and will do whatever is needed to keep you happy. Maybe this is why they have been in business for over 25 years.

I sent pictures of my grass that was last service in December. My grass been serviced and killed it with some kind of wrong chemicals used. Very dry with Fungus. Customer service is very lousy. Been using them for couple of years and now they just ignore us. Do not recommend them.
