After years of good service, lawn did not appear uniform as desired. Upon treatments afterwards, the grass died in the spots that were treated. About 35% of my lawn is now damaged and dead.

Now when you call someone comes to your house writes your a quote and then someone has to come back another day to do the treatment

Used to be you could call and make an appointment and get the treatment done. Having you guys come out two separate days is ridiculous. Can already tell the direction this company is going.

I googled them after I saw a truck with the trailer swerving all over the road it turned out I called the wrong company but this gentleman worked very hard at trying to find the truck to get him off the road it turned out it wasn't even one of his they handled it very professionally

Woke up this morning and saw palm fronds, wet plastic bags, and debris being thrown over my wall in the backyard. I went to go see what was happening, and the crew with Landscapes By Design was dumping trash over my wall. I asked for the person in charge and got a man named Antonio over seeing the project of maintaining the landscape around the shopping Plaza. He took zero accountability and smirked at me. I asked him if his job was to maintain the landscape and clean debris from the property, and he shrugged. Wow!!! Horrible company! Completely unprofessional!! After the fact, I noticed he had ruined 4 of our pineapple plants and some of our potted succulents. These guys are lucky they didn't hit my son, dogs, or wife with these 20lb palm fronds, or there would be a major lawsuit. If you are a landlord, city management, etc, stay away from these guys. I have a 6-minute video of our encounter that I will gladly share with anyone needing to see it.

UPDATE TO RESPONSE:
This matter has not been thoroughly investigated as I wrote this review approx. 50 minutes ago. No one has contacted me, came to my residence, or examined the debris thrown over. Yes, the palm tree extends from my property over the wall, just like your oak trees extend over my property. I did not dispose my trash on the property, as you state. Before you threw the many items over the wall did you make sure there was no one you could possibly injure or nothing you could cause damage too? I know you didn't as I saw this happen. You have oak trees that hang over my property and shed thousands of leaves in which I clean up in my private trash. According to your response, should I throw these limbs/branches and raked piles in black trash bags back over the wall as I am "not responsible for YOUR trash" for the oak trees? Also, what about the trash you threw over, that is from the shopping plaza? Why didn't you mention that? You say you have pictures of me dumping trash into other properties, how do I go about obtaining copies of these images? and I'm assuming if you have pictures as you say you do, can you please also provide the pictures of your employees today throwing trash into my property? Asking clarification on why garbage is being thrown onto my property is not harassment, and like I said I have my full interaction on video. Your company has not only illegally dumped on my property, but as a result I have incurred minor property damage of that. This is not a false review, and to say your company has an outstanding reputation while currently only having 2 google reviews in over 2 years is a stretch. This response from you and your company once again shows Zero Accountability, Retaliation, Defamation, and Reckless Behavior.

Way came to our home to do a risk assessment on a tree that's roots have grown out of proportion. He was very thorough, knowledgeable and provided a thorough report in a timely manner. He set expectations and met them. We were very pleased with his professionalism and would highly recommend him for any of your tree needs!

The palm tree in our front yard was having an issue with rot around the base. We had moved into the house two years ago and there was existing damage. I made an appointment for a consultation to see what could be done for the palm tree. Way Hoyt came out to take a look. He arrived on time and was extremely knowledgeable. He informed me that the damage was caused by weed eaters.

He informed me that eventually the tree will need to be removed. Way provided me with details on how to take care of our other giant palm in our backyard to prevent it from having the same issue, what fertilizer to use, and what water schedule to set up for our entire yard. His rate is very reasonable for the sage advice he was able to provide me concerning the care of our palms and additional landscaping.

I asked Way to advise on a single sick palm tree in our front yard, not expecting anything more. But not only did he explain what was happening to that tree, and what I should do about it, he took the time to check all the trees on the property and went into great detail about how they should be maintained. He even pruned a mango tree! Way is a great source of expert information and lots of fun to talk with besides.

Way Hoyt is the best registered consulting arborist around. If you want your trees assessed properly and get a recommendation for the best arborists to do the work, Way Hoyt is your man. No one touches my trees but him and arborists he recommends. He has taught most of the best arborists in south Florida. You have to be crazy to let some of these companies that say they know trees, work on your trees. Lots of companies will overcharge and darn near kill your trees. Using Hoyt is a must.
