Constraction reviews in Oldsmar, Florida

I just had my 22-year-old concrete tile roof replaced. I had a recommendation from a builder who had used Acoma Roofing on his own home. My next-door neighbor, another contractor, told me he enjoyed watching the process on my house and called it a 'work of art.' I was very favorably impressed by the professionalism of everyone from the craftsmen, the sales staff, the owner, and the office staff. The new roof was supposedly a copy of the old one, but the obvious better quality, craftsmanship, and appearance of the new one is remarkable. Highly recommended.

Dangerous & Unprofessional. I can’t speak to the quality of work since our roof isn’t completed yet. I can say that safety isn’t a priority for them. At a condominium community you can’t have debris raining down in public walkways (without warning), or nails sticking up hiding amongst the grass, or debris scattered around the parking lot or AC units half covered with a piece of plywood not allowing them to breathe. Unacceptable and dangerous.

Ur drivers are so idiotic because if you guys close at 4 o’clock, why are your drivers out at 10:19 at night, first we’re at a red light where u can make a RIGHT turn on red but proceeds to sit there the whole rotation and we come to another GREEN light and proceeded to sit there and sit until I had to lay on my horn and yell at him pretty sure he was intoxicated or something but I got his license plate his truck number was 20 so if u could do something about ur driver that would be awesome 😊😊 so far not gonna call you guys if we need help

Acoma Roofing was referred to us by a neighbor who had a positive experience with a new roof installation. Our experience from quote, to installation, to later a repair (after the hurricane) was nothing but professional, prompt and pleasant. There was constant communication throughout the process and whenever we had questions our sales person or a staff member at the front office was quick to respond. Thank you for our beautiful roof and peace of mind.

Started with estimates from several companies and after analyzing them all I landed on Acoma Roofing. They had very good communication from the beginning all the way to completion. The google reviews were good and the price was within my budget. Work was completed in September 2021 with the skylight being replaced as well. The site manager came out after the roof was completed in about 2 days and he had more workers come back out to touch up a few things he saw necessary. Working with Acoma on such a large project ended up being the best experience I have had with any contractor so far. Great communication, skilled and fast workers, and A+ customer service. I do recommend Acoma and will work with them again for future needs.

After my first review and giving them a good review, I had to withdraw that. The corners on my house were the cut the drip edge ,were not cut right. The valleys were also cut so cooked that it looks like crap, I have a large hump in my roof due to not putting back the H clips that go on the seems of plywood or inproply nailed They also charged 300.00 for 3 sheets of plywood that they changed the first time they did the roof. 10 years prior. We had no leeks. The plywood they used was left over from another job . This is what gets me the plywood is like 46.00 dollars at Lowes or home depot how can they charge that? They also say if you give them a good review, they give you a gift card for somewhere, and we never got it. Now, so you know a little about me and my family. My dad owned a company called T&J Fram and Trim. We built most of the 2 storie homes in old sections of East Lake Woodlands and have done many homes throughout Pinellas County. I myself have worked for different roofing companies in Pinellas County . This was a warrantee job, so they made good money. I also would never use GAF shingles ever again. They are junk. I will be adding photos. They also got nail dabree in my pool, and it put rust stains all through my pool. Along with that, my mother stepped on a nail that was left on the pool deck, and she fell and injured her back. We are very disappointed in the work... luckily for us the roof is still under warranty.... they will never step foot on our roof again... notic how the corners are buckled and look at the hump in the roof. Poor craftsmanship!!! I also noticed that they never replaced rotten wood on the facia. Look how lose the drip edge is from the facia. What gets me is the city of Dunedin. Let this pass an inspection. Makes you wonder about them to...

When our Condominium Association was informed this year that our insurance company would no longer cover us for full roof replacement costs due to the fact that our roofs were approaching 20 years old, our Board of Directors decided to solicit bids from several vendors for total roof replacement on our seven buildings. In the end, we received bids from nine vendors, all of whom were properly licensed by both the state of Florida DBPR and the Pinellas County Construction Board. The Board ranked all of these vendors on presentation, quality (based on Google reviews, Angi, and the BBB), and cost, to come up with the selection of Acoma Roofing, Inc. to undertake our roof replacement project.
To put it mildly, we have been awed by the top-down professionalism exhibited in every interaction we have had with the Acoma team. Everyone involved, from the owners, office personnel, and installation crews, have been courteous and accommodating in every respect. All permits were pulled and posted in a timely manner, and inspections were called in to the city as required.
The installation crew was very respectful of our property and they bent over backwards to make sure that our unit owners were not inconvenienced any more than was absolutely necessary. Honestly, there is probably no neat and clean way to tear off an old asphalt shingle roof, but the crews covered landscaping with tarps where possible and ended every day by cleaning up all debris and blowing off all driveways and sidewalks. They were punctual, and very efficient in every facet of the tear-off and reinstallation process.
If replacing a roof is something that only gets done once every 20 years it really makes sense to have it done professionally by people you can feel comfortable with. If you are thinking about roof replacement in the near future then Acoma Roofing, Inc. should be on your short list for serious consideration. Most highly recommended.

When we learned many homes in our neighborhood had roof damage from a hail storm while we were away for the summer. A variety of roofing companies came knocking on our door. Instead of using an unknown entity, we contacted Acoma Roofing. They had put our roof on in 2004 and had done some repairs since. We trusted them, especially knowing they were locally owned, a long-standing family company. After confirming our roof was damaged, they helped us coordinate with our homeowners insurance company. When they discovered that in addition to the roof damage from the storm, we also had some issues with our chimney (not storm related), we trusted they knew what they were doing to execute the necessary repairs.
Their staff communicated with us each step of the way. The workers were dedicated and cleaned up each day. We highly recommend Acoma. -
Working with Jen and her team over many years has been one of the best decisions I’ve ever made for our home. Jen was able to incorporate our style over many rooms. Charleston Bay Interiors are mindful of budgets and made the whole process of decorating a pure pleasure.
I truly cannot recommend them enough! -
Doing a complete remodel or a 3,000sq. foot condo from over 1500 miles away was quite a project. From demo to carpeting, from plumbing to electrical and from painting to interior decoration, Jen's team did it all. It was like a TV show. You open the front door and see the final results and say "WOW" If you have a small or large project Charleston Bay Interiors is the one I recommend.
THANKS JEN - GOOD JOB! -
I've been working with the team at Charleston Bay Interiors for over 6 years. These ladies have great eyes for design and make the process easy and efficient. I trust them explicitly with delivering me outcomes I expect and enjoy. They are respectful and professional in an industry where that should matter. I'm proud of them and the end product they deliver. RW - Belleair, Florida

Charleston Bay Interiors is our “go to” design firm. Jen and Kristina are visionaries and can transform a space into something extraordinary. Our first project with Jen was a complete condo renovation from floor to ceiling. After our first meeting discussing our likes and dislikes, she knew immediately what we were looking for. We were amazed every time she brought something to the table. The finished project was mind blowing and absolutely beautiful. Our second project with Jen and Kristina was creating a backyard sanctuary, and once again we are still amazed with everything any time we sit out there. They are both, a pleasure to work with and have exceptional taste. They were attentive to our thoughts and ideas, and their ideas were 100% better than ours! On top of all that, the contractors they worked with to do both our projects were beyond exceptional. This is your interior design firm for any project!

Purchased kitchen cabinets from CRC Builders in 2017. We had an issue with one of our drawers this week we called CRC Builders and they came out within a few days and took care of the issue. It is so refreshing to have dealings with a company that has great customer support.

Steam shower installation was high quality with attention to detail. They do what they promise to do. And most important, she is happy.

10/10 We had an excellent experience working with CRC Builders on our kitchen renovation. Every aspect of the project from electrical and plumbing down to the countertops and backsplash was done with, professionalism and attention to detail. What really stood out to me was their communication- clear, consistent and honest from start to finish. We always knew what to expect, timelines were explained clearly, and questions we had were answered promptly. That level of transparency made the entire process feel smooth and stress free. Everything came together beautifully and the quality of work and craftsmanship was exceptional. Not only am I recommending CRC Builders to friends and family but I would also, without hesitation work with them again for future projects in our home, and I'm sure we will. Thank you Chris, Matt, Dustin, Jayme and Cliff, you all were a pleasure to work with.

We recently had to renovate our entire kitchen due to moldy cabinets. So glad to have found CRC to do the work. Many of the other contractors we considered were not communicative or their pricing was not reasonable. CRC came in with a competitive quote, great timelines and amazing communication. Big thank you to the entire team - Chris, Matt, Dustin, Jayme and Cliff. Can't wait to see you all in our next project. Thank you!!!
-
We just can't say enough good things about CRC Builders! They helped us with our renovation and remodel of our home after we had been flooded by Hurricane Helene. I think what we appreciated most of all was their constant communication explaining every step. They are always available to answer any questions, never too busy for you. If you're looking for an honest, reliable building contractor, look no further, they do immaculate work!!
-
The absolute best contractors! From the care Matt and Dustin took to plan the project to Jamie, who executed the whole thing! We could not be more happy with all the work they did. Jamie is truly a master of his craft. See our beautiful new coffee bar 🙌🏼
