No Heat, on a 40 degree morning, called the team at Superior A/C at 9 a.m., 2 technicians arrived by noon with tool bag and gauges in hand, they had the heat pump blowing hot air into the house a short time later and then performed the annual maintenance , thanks to the team at Superior A/C .

Called early on a Sat. a.m. Shawn showed up at the time I said I was available. He is always so curteous and professional. Fixed the situation in very short time. I have my heating and cooling back. Always have great service from Shawn.

Ariel and Kyle came to our house in Zephyrhills to install a new unit. They were very knowledgeable, proficient, and professional. Highly recommend!

Called for Service on a Monday said they will be out the same day, never showed up. Called Tuesday morning said they will get there today but can’t promise a time. Didn’t show until Wednesday, said they needed a part will be back tomorrow. Advised them that this unit is still under warranty they said we know. Didn’t show back up until Friday and tried to charge for parts and labor, had to argue with the tech to warranty the parts. Labor seemed too high but at least we finally have heat. Horrible experience

Superior always goes above and beyond with their annual maintenance. They perform a thorough cleaning and a detailed check of all the levels every time. I really feel like I have a company who cares about keeping my unit running perfectly. Highly recommended them for anyone looking for reliable, top tier service in the Clearwater area.

Andy and Charlie we're amazing went ABOVE and beyond!!! Even helped my elderly neighbors out ... Fantastic install helped every step of the way ..They were very patient and even got our cat out of the tree .. I wish I had the means to give a tip ! And I tried to express that to them !!

Superior Heating and Cooling did an excellent job with my annual maintenance. I had actually forgotten about it, but they gave me a reminder call, which I really appreciated. Ron came out and was professional, friendly and thorough. He did a great job. I'm very happy with their service and would highly recommend them.

He was on time straightforward, and honest, which is exactly how I like it. You can’t go wrong going with this company been using them for years as a satisfied customer!

Woke up Sunday morning to 81 degrees. I called my Superior Team and they were out by 11. Unfortunately, I had to replace my old unit after 13 years but they got the unit up and running so I wouldn’t be without air until they could replace the system on Thursday. From the moment the answering service took the call, Chris coming out and performing Diagnostics to the install with Andrew and Chaz the experience has been seamless, professional, extremely knowledgeable and trustworthy. You feel you are in good hands.
I will never forget when Don Smith came to my house 3 years ago for a routine cleaning, he said when you get to the time when you need to replace the unit give us a call and I am so glad I did. He was right about the service, hands down the best!! Thank you Superior!

Update Jan 2026: Joe and associate Derek have installed A/C Splits for us on two occasions. They were considerate of our requirements and did a fantastic job at a good price. Joe is super-knowledgeable and absolutely dedicated to doing the job right.

Jul 2025: Mike T. just did our annual service on the great new units installed last year by Superior Heating and Cooling. Mike has been doing this for decades and really knows his stuff. We feel really confident with Mike keeping our systems up and running in tip-top shape!

I've been using superior heating and cooling for over 10 years to maintain my AC
But this time around, they came to do maintenance. My AC was working perfectly.
And all of a sudden one of their guys says that there's something wrong with my unit that it's old and outdated that I should purchase one of theirs. And then my unit stop working, they came to check on it 2 days later to find out why my AC is not working. Anymore, and what I get is, it's nothing we did. How do we explain that? It was working perfectly until they came to do the tune up. And they offered me a unit because I was low on freon, and the unit was working fine. Fine? And now the unit is not working at all. Wow, so that's how I determine that factor. Ps. It seems like it's the same guy that worked for them wow, then I'm not the only one thinking the same thing about this guy. I do not want this guy coming to my house ever again. This is the second time I've had this problem with them. Wow, reading the review from others. I don't know why this guy is still employed with them.
I am not going to mention names, but they need to look. The problem is within so if I have to buy a new unit, it won't be through them. But they messed up my unit

On July 1, 2024 I had a new heat pump/air conditioner installed at my home by Superior Heating and Cooling. The air handler installed has had a severe sweating problem from day 1. There have been several repairmen who have looked at the problem, taken pictures and made adjustments to the settings to no avail. I attempted to contact a supervisor to express my dissatisfaction and try to seek a solution to no avail. I was told by one of the repairmen that he was recommending a new unit to replace the defective equipment that was installed and again nothing has happened. I have lodged complaints with the Better Business Bureau and the Attorney Generals Office. I would not recommend Superior Heating and Cooling to anyone looking for quality service or products. I made my $10,000 mistake and hope nobody else does.

Superior is a very trustworthy and reliable company. They don't simply tell you what you want to hear… They provide solutions and options so that you feel comfortable with the service and the expense. Shawn Is very professional and knowledgeable… And he does not take the expense that his customers have to pay lightly. I appreciate that.

We have used Superior Heating and Cooling since we moved to Florida in 2016. We had a new AC unit installed last year. Have always had great service from this company. Shawn came today to check the unit to make sure everything is running properly. The air purifier was not working and he stated that the bulb should have been replaced when the new unit was installed. I can’t say enough good things about Shawn and his professionalism and knowledge. We truly appreciate him.

In most cases, (as in the most recent visit) Shawn has been my technician. This man is the best! Besides being kind and respectful, his knowledge of the system and how to best care for it through the year is only surpassed by his professionalism. I am grateful for having him both as my saleman and my tech.

Jeff came and did our yearly maintenance on our AC unit. What a Great job!!! Very professional and personal. Replaced the light, cleaned all the leaves under the fan and sprayed the unit down and brushed down the whole unit. I have never seen anyone do such a thorough job.
