We called around for a few quotes to get sod and gravel for our back yard and replace our irrigation system. They have been very responsive to questions and requests during the job. Pricing was competitive and fair. And followup to make sure everything was done right was excellent. I would definitely recommend using this company for your lawn needs. Thanks Mike, Joe and all the workers who sweated it out in our yard to make it look as nice as it is today!

Dear Ground Source, It’s has come to my attention your performance on my front yard has deteriorated to a level that’s is no longer acceptable nor tolerable. This poor performance issue has resulted in creating many other problems on this project. Despite having already expressed my concerns to you regarding these performance issues, there has not been any attempt on your part to improve your performance.

I had an area of sod replaced in my lawn. Ground source showed up at beginning of the window of time they gave me. The removed the old sod and replaced very quickly. Sod is doing well a month later. I would recommend Ground Source for partial or full sod replacement.

I had this company do a small landscaping job for my front yard, around my pool, and install sprinklers. The final job looks amazing and is just what I wanted. They were clear with cost, timelines, and very communicative. There were some hiccups and damage to a plumbing pipe, but the owner had someone come out and fix the problem quickly (and on a Sunday evening). Things happen, but you want to do business with a company who handles those obstacles professionally and fairly (and with a great end result). Would use them again or recommend to friends/family!

First time using Ground Source for sod delivery. I purchased 3 pallets of Citrablue St Augustine. Always bought Floratam but needed grass for shady areas. I was very impressed with the quality and consistency of the pieces, little to no weeds in the majority of pallets, no visible fungus or bugs, very fresh upon delivery. Because of how fresh and good the grass was, it reduced the amount of waste and torn up pieces significantly. Luckily, it’s the end of April and not summer hot and humid, so the weather conditions may have also played a role in grass quality. Overall, I would recommend and would use Ground Source again.

Ground Source has completed a few outdoor refurbishment projects and we are happy with the results. The sod installations were great. When we had an irrigation issue after our second install they didn’t drop the ball but fixed the error. Our third install went wonderfully. Hiccups can happen in landscaping. Fixing problems and standing by the work are what count. I would hire Ground Source again.

It’s so hard to find quality work these days, if you’re on the fence with hiring this company, DONT BE. Go with ground source!

Ground source performed a major backyard overhaul for me recently, including new pavers, retaining walls, raised planters, sealing, lighting, full yard irrigation, landscaping shrubs, mulching and sod. I have previously worked with Ground Source at my old house for a sod install and they did a fantastic job, so I trusted them with a good amount of money to completely revamp my backyard at my new house. I am extremely happy I did.

I worked with Eric on the design, and he was phenomenal. The attention to detail and expert guidance on various quality of life enhancements that I would encounter, specifically drainage and layout, was crucial to the success of the project. He even offered guidance and chatted with me about permitting on other projects, which was super kind of him. Once the project started, Eric and the owner Joe stopped by daily to oversee progress and ensure quality.

Ground source really knocked it out of the park! I truly believe they are one of the few companies in the area that actually care about quality work. Once you meet the owner, Joe, you’ll understand. You’ll get the feeling that he’s working on his own house. He even caught cracked pavers I didn’t notice, and mandated that they come back and fix them. Every single employee of Ground Source wanted to do it right, no matter the effort. Thank you to the entire team!

GroundSource did an outstanding job designing the landscaping around my pool. I couldn't be happier with the outcome, and they did it for a very reasonable price based on the cost of materials and labor. I definitely recommend them for your landscaping needs. Once again, an oversized delivery truck going through our yard. Living in E Orlando and not such a large job, I had a hard time getting someone out to give an estimate let alone a timely repair. From the first phone call with Jasmine to the repairs completed with Isaiah, I would definitely recommend. Very professional and the customer service was better then expected. Being new to Orlando, we are not very familiar with any company and heavily rely on reviews. We are so pleased with the entire process working with Ground Source and have no regrets. We had our irrigation system upgraded and landscaping done. The entire team we interacted with was very responsive, professional, and provided stellar service. Jon was out to our home the day after I submitted an inquiry and helped bring my vision to life with a beautiful design. We are so excited to see our plants and flowers flourish as they grow. The irrigation tech was meticulous and addressed all of our concerns. From start to finish, the process couldn’t have been easier.

Ground Source did an outstanding job on our backyard sod installation. Great communication and planning throughout. The team installing was meticulous about the prep, placement and double checking the irrigation. Nine pallets of sod and when they were done, the clean up was so good it looked like they were never here. Highly recommended.

We had an awesome experience with Ground Source right from the start. They reached out to us right away after request and had a landscape architect here within a few days. His design was exactly what we were looking for and he filled in the MANY gaps in our plant knowledge. The quote was very reasonable and we signed the contract right away. The installers were at the house within 2-3 weeks which was excellent timing. They spent one day ripping out old grass, plants, trees, river rock, and concrete edging. The next day was spent installing new sod, plants, trees, flowers, and mulch. What a difference! We couldn't be happier. They had excellent follow-up after to make sure the job was done right and visited our house more than once to fix some minor issues and do some walk-throughs to ensure high quality. I can't recommend them enough! See below for some before pics, during, and after! We installed some basic landscape lighting after they were finished to top it all off!

I couldn’t be happier with my backyard. Everything was perfectly. The Argentine Bahia turned out better than even the project manager was expecting.

I wasn't able to score lower than one star or I would have. I had this company lay sod for me and 16 days later I had a beautiful yard. Two days after that brown spots crept in. I called and was told not to worry, it's sod and it will come back. Two more days later I called and said "someone needs to get out here. The yard is looking bad." No return call. The following day I call about the yard and I'm told someone did come out the day before (just didn't call me back) and that I probably over watered the yard (they set up the timers on my irrigation system and I changed the setting when needed as instructed). Then I was told it was sod worms and that I should have treated it sooner. I was within my 30 days guarantee and ask what they could do. The answer...nothing! They said I should have paid them to treat the sod. I said "no one told me I needed to do that". The consolation; I was told I could come by and pick up one or two pieces of left over sod if needed. I need a whole yard replaced! If you need a sod job done, please do yourself a favor and skip over this company. You'll thank me later.

Note: The offer to treat the yard was verbalized "after" the damage or in the fine print. Who would spend $1,800 on a yard and worry about a $100 charge to treat it. 90% of my yard had to be pulled up. I do not need a few pieces, I need a pallet as we discussed but that never materialized. I'm 60 years old. Do you really think I can throw a pallet of sod in the back seat of the car and call it a day? All that money and they could not take 15 minutes to drop off a pallet. Customer Service means so little to some.

By far one of the worst companies I have ever worked with in any business. From the beginning they won me over during to quote/estimate period. But from what I requested to to what I got, what not what I received. From the beginning no communication and just started the work. No one chatted with us to confirm what we need to get done. The labor was very poor. After complaining multiple times no changes were made the same mistakes kept happening and the communication got worse. Even after complaining and showing them what I requested in the quotes no remedy or will to change. If you are thinking of using Ground Source I highly suggest another company from pavers to sprinkler to plant care horrible work.

We hired Ground Source to install a French drain along the back of our house where water was pooling badly. Their quote was very reasonable. On work day, workers were professional, showed up on time, came prepared for the entire scope of the job, and had great communication. They even graded the leftover soil along the house to help with drainage as well instead of hauling it off, at our request. We had a team of 3 mainly with supervisors checking in and inspecting stages of the work throughout the day. This job went better than expected and I would not hesitate to hire Ground Source for any other work needed at my home. Very happy with the whole process from quote to completion.

We used Ground Source to transform our backyard. They did a phenomenal job of clearing stump grinding debris as well as leveling out the yard. They were very upfront about laying the sod as it may not take due to many factors and my yard had many problems, no irrigation and that I would need to be on top of the watering schedule and routine. Happy to report I have a lush green yard the sod held up and looks great! Any concerns were handled by Joe to ensure we were satisfied with the work. Would definitely
recommend!

Eric did an amazing job with the design—he really listened to what we wanted, offered great ideas, and the plan came together beautifully. Jeff, the work crew chief, ran a top-notch crew: professional, punctual, hardworking, and super detail-oriented. Everything was completed with care, communication was clear the whole way through, and the cleanup afterward was excellent. The final result looks incredible—we couldn’t be happier. I had gutter drainage replaced and modified for my home. Most of the process was very good. Darrin came out to do the estimate and was pleasant to work with, communicated well, and was responsive. The job itself started fine. Jeff, the operations leader, walked the yard with me and made sure he understood everything properly. The team cleaned up the job site well too. Where things fell short is there was zero communication with me the day of the job when it was completed or since. The crew just left when they were done. No one asked me to look at things to be sure it was all good, if i had any questions, etc. No operations manager checked in to make sure I was happy with the work or, again, if I had any questions. No one has called since the job. I just was sent the final invoice. This is not a good practice and will discourage me from recommending Ground Source to others.
