The installation of the new AC unit in my house was great! I highly recommend Mathis and Sons Air and Heating for any of your HVAC needs .

I used Mathis & Son for service calls for the past 2 years. They were always on time and fixed this issue and were reasonably priced. When it came time to replace my air conditioner unit, they answered all the questions I had prior to signing the contract and let me know my options. The guys working for Mathis & Sons are all very courteous and they cleaned up everything after installing the unit. My air handler is in the attic, so I felt terrible they had to be up in the attic in all this heat, but they got the job done. I believe my a/c unit & install was done at a fair price and I would recommend Mathis & Sons to anyone needing repairs/maintenance on an existing unit, or anyone having to replace their a/c unit.

They promptly inspected my air conditioning system, identified the issue right away, and explained everything clearly. The technician, Leon did an excellent job with the repair. He was knowledgeable, responsible, and took the time to give me helpful advice on how to maintain the system for long-term performance.

They installed a brand new AC unit in my house And holy moly, the power it has. They did an absolute wonderful job and I will continue to use them. I highly recommend these guys.

My rooftop solar is short of producing enough power to be at a true net zero and out of space to add additional panels. So I started shopping high seer ACs to reduce my kilowatt hour consultation to get a true net zero.
The Lennox and Carrier models I had priced a few years before had doubled from inflation. Had several installers come over and never give a quote. Several installers no show for a quote. Several installers refuse to work with the equipment that met my specs for my project.
James from Mathis and sons AC came by. I told him what I wanted and needed. He said he was unsure if they could do it, but would ask because the worst they could tell him was no. No was the answer initially. I was looking for an 18 SEER or higher condenser with.a variable speed motor, and a natural gas air handler with a variable speed motor as well. All within a specific price range.
After speaking with their Goodman distributor I was told it was a possibility and the owner Pauly took the time to come and meet me at my house to check for sure and come to an agreement that was fair for us all.
When the project begun I also had my ductwork replaced since it was the original ductwork from when my home was built in 1985. It took a little longer than they said it would. I was ok with that for the exquisite detail they put into the workmanship getting the old, outdated, and nasty ductwork out. The new ductwork and drops were immaculate.
The condenser and airhandler didn't take as long. The same exquisite workmanship and attention to every detail to meet all of my specs met and exceeded all of my expectations.
Now I can keep the house as cool or as warm as I'd like. The Goodman has a SEER potential of in between 19.5 to 21.5 SEER. It's oversized half a ton. You can't get the high efficiency in half ton models. Since it's slightly oversized the variable speed motors run on low. You can barely tell they are running. A big difference from the 13 SEER I replaced that had one speech that was high. Never kept the house at the temp I wanted. Killed my electric and kilowatt hour usage from always being stuck on high.
I would highly recommend this company to contract your AC work..Rarely do I write a detailed review like this or give a 5 star rating. James, Pauly, a d everyone involved in my project we t above and beyond my expectations. Going high SESR had a higher price tag. I felt from the products, workmanship,warranty, and attention to every detail they look care of for me made me feel I got my money's worth and some. You'd be foolish to use anyone else for such a major project for your home. Your heating and AC are responsible for at least 40% of your electric consumption. Do it right and you get a tax credit and potential rebates for lowering your electric usage.

Not every job goes perfect, but when something goes wrong, the measure of a good contractor is what the company does when something isn’t perfect. Paulie always makes things right and as a general contractor who has worked with them for sometime now and I’ve always had a great experience. Paulie is very responsive and aims to please. I would highly recommend using them for your next AC unit.

Recently, we needed our coil cleaned in our HVAC system. Mathis was who we had install it so we called them to perform the service. It was a pleasure to see familiar faces even though we purchased the unit 4 years ago! That speaks volumes to us about the business owners and employees. It was a difficult job to remove the unit from the house to clean and then assemble it back after the cleaning service was performed. It was excellent and professional work. This company is the best hands down, and im speaking on the best value for what I paid as well as the product received and, more importantly, the customer service they have provided. It all started with Mona, who handles everything at the office to dealing with the owner Pali. Im not speaking on a recent install. I'm speaking on a brand new complete AC unit install that was completed almost 3 years ago and still going strong. I've never had a single issue ever!

This company is no where to be found on sunbiz or dbpr of Florida. This is not a upset competitor. this is a consumer watch dog who called your website and went to try to find you. this is not a rea company but marketing website.. google if you take this off, you are as guilty as they are for helping them

Our old unit was making weird rattling noises for weeks. Finally called BetterWeather AC Repairs for AC Repair. Technician came out, pinpointed loose parts in the blower, tightened everything, and did a full tune-up. House is quiet and cool again. He even showed me how to change filters myself. Solid work, reasonable charge, will use them from now on.
