Top quality all the way. Had them help keep our old system alive and later replace everything including duct work. They do the work right. No cutting corners. They don't try to sell you anything you don't need, and prices are very competitive. They are also on top of the industry and know what is coming next to make sure they don't sell you anything that will cost you more down the road.

I first contacted Island Air System about a year ago to fix my old Rheem central air unit. Sure enough, there was a coolant leak and possible compressor damage. Quoted me on a complete replacement, vents, grills, new copper pipes, new drainage, air handler, wireless thermostat and condenser. At the time, despite the INCREDIBLY low price he gave me, I did not have the funds. Fast forward to today, I kept Island Air System's paperwork, called them up and they remembered me. They came out and gave me the almost exact same quote, didn't even have it written down originally. Within a week, they had the units, the permit and began work. When the work was completed, they did a thorough inspection of the units to make sure it was working to specifications. The air was turned down to 74 last night and for the first time ever, the entire house was comfortable! I cannot stress enough, before you call anyone else, you have to call this company. I know for a fact, they will give you the most bang for your buck!

I think my AC was installed in 1983 and was hanging on by a prayer. Called Peterson at Idsland Air and had my new unit installed. My new ac unit and wifi thermostat was installed quickly along with instructions on how to maintain it. Island Air's prices are great compared to other companies that did estimated for me. Thank you Peterson.

Pete has serviced our unit for three years and I will use no one else because of his professionalism and trustworthiness. I am very busy and I leave him with the run of the house. Everything is always in superb condition.

Pete Germain let us down. Last summer our old A/C quit working and we contracted him to install a new top of the line 5ton American Standard unit. It took him 2 days to install it because he was working by himself. After it was installed we still had problems with the unit. At first his customer service was incredible. He came over at 10pm one night to get our unit to cool our house down. We had to call him to come back on several different occasions because he never was able to fix the issue or other issues would pop up. At one point he wanted to charge us more money to redo our ductwork, supposedly to get more air return to the unit!!! We were forced to call another company to fix the problem because Pete stopped returning our calls altogether. He did not honor the warranty we had paid him for. On top of that he never got a permit to do the work and we couldn't apply for the energy credit from our utility company without it. My wife filed a complaint with the BBB to which he never responded. I would NEVER recommend this company to anyone. Pete Germain has awful business ethic. Not an honest man.
