JTS HVAC did a fantastic job with my heater repair in Orlando. I needed a new heating system installed and could only do it over the weekend. They were very flexible and worked around my schedule. Dwayne handled most of the work and you could tell he really knew what he was doing. They took out the old unit and put in the new one quickly and without any issues. The price was fair for the quality of service, and they kept me updated throughout the process. I’m very happy with the results and would recommend them to anyone needing heater repairs. 5 stars!

My business has geothermal, which apparently is not a specialty of every HVAC shop. Not surprising, but you'd think that they might be open about it if they are just going to fumble around...

Oh, but I don't mean American. They were great! The company I had BEFORE them did the fumbling, charged me for a couple of visits which still left the system only limping along, and then blacklisted me when I had the gall to politely ask to speak to someone about the charges for NOT getting the system working. Never raised my voice. Never said I wouldn't pay. Just wanted to talk to someone about it. Never got the chance. They simply told me I didn't have to pay one of the bills which had accomplished nothing, and didn't share that their choice to do that would have long term ramifications for me as a customer. Again, I didn't actually talk to anyone, other than asking the lady, who answered the phone, if I could speak to someone about the bill.

I should get to the good part. I got a recommendation for American Mechanical, and I'm so glad I did. I told them of my A/C problems, AND I told them about my history with this other company. I didn't want there to be any weirdness, and I offered to pay up front and by credit card or check, or whatever they wanted. They seemed genuinely surprised at how the other company handled the situation, but I assume they took my story with a grain of salt, considering they didn't know the other side of it.

Anyway, the technician was professional, and he told me of his geothermal qualifications. He came up with plan, executed it, and informed me along the way of his decisions. He described the work to me in a way that made sense, and I always thanked him for it and told him to proceed as he thought fit.

I assume some people out there would consider me high maintenance, but I didn't ask for (or demand) this level of transparency. I assume that Devin, the tech, likes to be this open with his customers, or that he chose to do that having heard my story of the previous company. All I know is that I didn't push for all that, but I did appreciate it, especially because of the previous company's work that didn't accomplish a full repair.

The system is working great. The bill is paid. I couldn't be happier with the service. Well done, American and Devin. I'd recommend you to anyone and everyone.

American Mechanical Services was beyond EXCEPTIONAL to work with. They had a list of several installations and work that my home needed. We were referred to American Mechanical Services through our home warranty. I cannot say enough good about this company. From the first phone call Jackie was very nice and helpful. Devon was great when he came to evaluate our AC and very knowledgeable. Our home warranty, to say the least, was a nightmare and Jackie and the owner went above and beyond to help us get it all squared away. They came yesterday to install our new AC and the two men who came to install it were hard working and just as pleasant as the others. I will not hesitate to use the company again and would absolutely recommend them to anyone who needs HVAC services.

I am in the market looking to purchase a new home and i need to close ASAP. The appraiser claims the hot air is not working, which I know is working for sure, but i needed a license's AC tech to back me up. I looked online for a few places to compare prices. I saw AmeriTech and their specials they had going on. I saw a lot of good reviews on Mohamed so i requested him. They were able to schedule me for the very next day, which i was extremely happy with, because time is of the essence. Turns out Mohamed was able to be there earlier than expected, but i was still at work. So i sent him the garage code to get in, and I do not trust a lot of people but i decided to give him my trust. He did his thing, and when i got their he was already finished. I checked everything and it was all working and he was very knowledgeable and passionate about what he does. He didn't let me down, and for that I will definitely be using AmeriTech for all my future Air conditioning needs. Their service and price are awesome. We purchased a unit from AmeriTech a little over a year ago and had it serviced (periodic preventive maintenance) for the first time today. The unit we purchased was reasonably priced, lowered our electric bill, and has been reliable. We are pleased with the service received today, so we signed up for the twice-a-year service plan.

Our ac starting leaking in the middle of summer and the cost of repairs was so high we decided on a new ac installation instead. After some research I found Ameritech online and they had great reviews. I called and Chris Makin came out the same day within a few hours and he was so thorough and professional and really gave us the best options for our situation. The installation team was efficient and very professional. I would recommend 100%!

When our A/C packed in, we took up the recommendation of a neighbor who has been especially pleased with the service provided by Ameritech. And from the get-go, we came to understand why our neighbor has such confidence in them.
Our place, by the way the space is divided, presented several challenges that took a while to sort out. But at every hurdle, the company dealt with the issues swiftly and amicably. While other firms no-doubt have similar technical expertise, it's not always easy to find someone who operates on a good-faith policy of following through on their commitments when problems arise, to the extent of involving top-level management at a hands-on level until the job is done. The management practices that include weekly troubleshooting and planning meetings speak to an effective company structure in a firm that is always looking for ways to improve its services. In the end, consumers simply want a company they can trust to care about what they do, and to follow through on a job as professionally as possible. And this has been my experience with Ameritech, whether it's the sales people like Bob, the technicians like Kent, office staff like Jeremiah, the top management like Brian or the skilled installers- they are an effective team that gets the job done. As such, I would highly recommend this company as one that will not drop the ball and will not leave you disappointed.

This company definitely deserves a 5 star rating. After checking with 10 different contractors, the salesperson Chris gave us the best price and the installation technicians were top notch. We were not aware that when our house was built, there was faulty duct work which explains why our house was not cooling properly. The technicians fixed that and checked the rest of the house to make sure everything is fine. We know that it is very hard to find a good honest AC company these days but after going through the outstanding sales and installation process, this company is a keeper as we will have them service our unit annually from now on and recommend them to all of our friends and families.

I chose Ameritec because they offered American made air conditioning. I bought a brand new air handler and outside unit. Goodman brand.They installed and had problems with the AC coil it didn't work it took 3 days to get it replaced and operating. I must say they worked tirelessly to get it working. Three months later the compressor in the outside unit stopped working.I called Ameritech, they came out and charged $100 to come out to replace the the defective part. I feel if you pay for a new unit they should replace without any fees for at least a year but they don't guarantee their work without a $100 fee. Needless to say I was very disappointed with my purchase and services rendered from AmeriTech.

We purchased a unit from Ameritech and have had nothing but problems. It started immediately after install in May 2023 and still they can not fix the unit. First the problem was a bad coil, then it was our duct work (return/supply) which we had fixed at our cost. They still had no idea what was wrong and no way to fix it. We asked them to take out their unit and refund our money which they found a way to nickel and dime us. Matter is still pending. If you need an air conditioner RUN from this company!! Save yourself the headache.
