As like my others in here central florida, my brsnd new AC decided to give me issues during this hest wave in the summer, this ac was installed on march 2023 by another company. Well on july 2024 it all of a sudden decided it needed a break to cool off as well and it stopped working, of course i contacted the company that installed the ac BUT they weren't helpful AT ALL. Delaying everything, telling me that they were trying to figure out how and when to get here etc. But nothing really happened, meanwhile inside of my house it got to 92 degrees. I decided not to wait any longer and contacted Ameritech, Kelly was AMAZING, she felt for me and immediately got to work and sent me a tech (Nick)that same day, well the issue was one of the boards, of course those boards are very expensive specially on a new unit as big and sophisticated as this one. Well thankfully i had gotten parts and labor warranty with the manufacturer.

To make the story shorter, Kelly was able to get the part expedited and the very next day at 10am Nick was in my house and installed the part and BOOM just like that i was able to breathe again.

To end this, i am extremely grateful to Kelly and Nick for what they did for me. They have gained a new client for life.

    THANK YOU SO MUCH !!!!

    Follow up appointment

I had to call again because my ac was clogged and once again Kelly helped me and she was extremely nice. Nick came to my house and was very very professional and helpful. Im super happy with them.

Initial sales meeting was professional, low pressure, options were explained, pertinent documentation was provided for an informed decision.

From the moments I placed a call for installation of my heating and cooling unit and follow up services, Ameritech has been the best. Thanks!

Best decision to get a second opinion from ameritech. The other AC company will cost me a fortune! Kudos to Nick, the technician.

They showed up today for a $100 service diagnosis and wanted to charge me $480 more to spend 10 minutes putting in a different thermostat. I was across town, and when I got to the house they left it wired in the condition pictured. Rather than putting it back the way it was, they maliciously put it in an unknown arrangement with the breaker on so that I cannot put a new thermostat on. They refuse to send me the picture my tenant saw them take of the original wiring. I've never experienced such outright unprofessionalism and I will be filing a formal complaint with the BBB and contacting my lawyer if there are additional damages found as a result.

American Air and Heat assessed our AC - Jermon Booker was incredibly professional, thorough and communicative. He did a comprehensive assessment and then explained the cause and effects of each component in question while providing possible solutions. He went above and beyond expectations. Great service. Great technician.

Price was competitive however service was poor. A/C was purchased and installed on 4/29/20. I had it serviced on 4/30/21 and was told that the refrigerant was a little low and that after an installation the unit adjusts to the home and needs to be "dialed in" approximately 2 weeks later. The sub cooling was 1 - 1.5 degrees and the superheat was 24 degrees. A.C. Guru recommended I call the company that did the installation and have them top up the refrigerant. Ameritech said this is not part of their service and I will have to pay for a service call to check to see if my system has a leak and that their installers would have put the correct amount of refrigerant when it was installed. They only warranty the installation and the inspector passed the inspection. I’m not sure if the inspector tests the cooling and heating when they test the installation and I’m don’t see how the maintenance company would gain by bleeding the refrigerant and then telling me to call the installer and have them top up the refrigerant since the system is new. At this point I have to conclude Ameritech did not put the correct amount of refrigerant when they installed the A/C and handler or they sold me a defective system as refrigerant doesn’t just disappear in a closed system. The system needed approximately 2 lbs of refrigerant according to the technician. Buyer beware the company might be short filling the refrigerant when they do the installation. I will try to update this review once I confirm the refrigerant does not have to be refilled in the near future i.e. the new A/C, handler and copper pipes do not have a leak.

Starting with Bob from Sales to the Installer to Muhammed from Service, the step by step process is easy going, worry-free, and their level of knowledge is outstanding. Ameritech is providing me with a level of comfort I would have never expected from buying a new air conditioning unit.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience with this HVAC company warrants a strong warning to others. From start to finish, the service was deeply disappointing. We were pressured into purchasing a new AC unit, which was then improperly installed. Despite multiple service calls—each one billed to us—the underlying issues were never resolved. Instead of taking responsibility, they attempted to upsell us on costly surge protectors that would not have addressed the problems caused by their faulty installation. This has been one of the most frustrating service experiences I’ve encountered.

I expect the owner will respond to this review with the usual vague apology and attempt to downplay what happened—just as they’ve done with others. But nothing in that reply will change the fact that we paid thousands of dollars for an AC that still doesn’t work right, and were met with nothing but finger-pointing and upselling instead of real solutions. I strongly urge others to avoid this company.

This was not my first time using this business. I scheduled a routine annual AC check up with them which I have done before. The service tech showed up and I knew we had a problem when I had to carry his ladder and tools up the stairs for him as he was physically unable. I figured I would need to stay with him to make sure he was ok and while we are in the attic my doorbell rings....I went downstairs to find a random guy asking for the Ameritech Service Tech that was in my attic. This guy did not work for Ameritech, it turns out the technichian had one of his friends to meet him at my house so he could drop something off and hang out in my driveway during my service appointment. This was totally unprofessional and inappropriate. When the tech was done he quoted me a ridiculously high amount for a repair and left after some quality time with his friend. The real problem is that I called their office 3 days in a row to speak with the owner or their Service Manager with absolutely no response. Finally on the 4th day they called and could not explain the techs behavior nor the amount quoted that was over double what it should have been. I had Rinaldis quote the same work and they were less than half the price. I wanted to discuss a refund for the service call of $89 which they told me they would think about and have never called me back about. Very unprofessional all around.

I had my A/C stalled through them years ago. Always signed up for their maintenance package. On multiple service calls, I found if you do not babysit the techs, they will skip items such as cleaning the drain which is part of the maintenance package. They are there to upsell you, not actually perform routine or preventative maintenance.

They have changed the capacitor twice already. Both times capacitor was under warranty, however they charge over $200 for the labor. Last night my A/C was not cooling. It was over 80 degrees in the house. Called them this morning if they could please come out today (maintenance appointment was scheduled for the 26th). Instead of focusing on if we can get a tech out today, they were focused on an opportunity for more money. I don’t care about a service call fee etc. But they were busy with telling me we would have to change the maintenance appointment which was next week as there is an issue with the system now.

Well guess what, had another company come out today, no service call fee. Not only that, but guess what was wrong??? BAD CAPACITOR. They use cheap parts, charge an arm and a leg. My previous unit lasted more than 20 years and not a single time did I have to have the capacitor changed. And guess what? My total bill was $220. AmeriTech changes more than this in labor alone even though the part is under warranty. Stay away from them by all means.

If you are an individual wanting good, loyal, honest and reliable service, do not use AmeriTech.

The team at Ameritech far exceeded my expectations. They showed up exactly when they said they would, quickly diagnosed the issue with my AC unit, and had it fixed super quick and for an unbelievable price. In this summer heat, getting ac issues fixed quickly are tantamount. I must give a big thank you to the whole Ameritech team for their knowledge, speed, and professionalism. I would highly recommend them to anyone in the Orlando area.

My service was great. Office service not so much. I was promised a call before he arrived and it did not happen. And I don't appreciate the sales pushy everytime I call or get service. One thing service tech says my warranty runs out next year and that is wrong it has not been 10 years. And he turned ac down to 72 and didn't tell me so until I was freezing I had no idea so I used a ton of electric. I set on 78. But he did a great job otherwise.

The person who took my call and Josh, the tech, were both super friendly and helpful. Josh fixed the part exactly as expected, gave me some useful advice, and connected me with someone else in his company to assist me with a more serious matter at my request. I called this morning, got same day, quality service, and expect to hear back from the other tech tomorrow. Hard to get all three - quick, friendly, and knowledgeable. But I did today.

Must call this company for all your sales, service and installation needs. From start to finish the customer service and installation was professional, friendly, and quick. I spoke with 3 other vendors and they were the best from the jump. My sales person was Chris, who was very friendly and knew the products to be sold. He was honest and didn't hassle me with trying to sell me the best unit. He sold me an excellent unit to fit my family needs. Once we signed the contract they were able to install it next day but I wasn't available. They were able to install my unit on the 4th. Couldn't believe it but they finished and I was able to cool the home down before my guests arrived. Was able to leave my home to grab some things and trusted the installers with my things. They completed the work in a timely manner and did a fantastic job. No mess was left behind. I can't wait to see the savings with my electric bill. I went from an 11 Seer to a 16 Seer unit. Thanks AmeriTech for all your hard work and professional staff. 😃

I saw an ad for the $59 tune up. Joshua Rodriguez was great. He explained everything and was super personable. Jessica with scheduling was also super friendly. Genuinely very pleased with how smooth and pleasant it all was!

Ameritech Customer for 8 years; recently did a full unit replacement to a new Daikin system. The install team did a great job; fully addressed the questions I had; and got the new system installed and running quickly. Thank you to Brian, Kelly, Jessica and Nick as well. Sales, Scheduling, Install, Service, all played a critical part from diagnosing the old unit to sourcing the new system - all did a great job. Thank you!

We have been with AmeriTech for several years. Their team is always kind, courteous, and professional. Dylan was very communicative at every stage of the process and showed photos. Look forward to many more years of being a client.

I have owned several homes over the years and dealing with hvac issues is usually my least favorite thing to do. When our system started leaking water everywhere I was dreading the whole process of finding someone reliable.

They came out and did a full inspection and showed me exactly where the blockage was and why it happened. It was such a relief that they took the time to explain the maintenance I should be doing to stop it from happening again. Most companies just fix it and leave so they can charge you again later but these guys actually care. They cleared the line and treated the pan and tested everything twice before packing up.

The house feels much drier now and the humidity is finally under control. I will be using them for my yearly maintenance from now on because trust is hard to find these days.
