Out of 5 estimates, Ameritech was my choice for a complete replacement installation of my AC/Heat system. The sales rep Chris Makin was knowledgeable, thorough, and professional. He followed up with me the same day, provided reasonable options, and accommodated my schedule. I felt like he truly had my best interest. My installers were Rafal and Matt who were on time, very professional, and did a fantastic job on the install. I was really impressed with their work ethic. And the modifications that they needed to do met those of skilled tradesman's!

Chris Makin showed same day within hours on a late Monday afternoon. He was very professional and explained options well. Tuesday I decided he's options and price was very competitive. He quickly scheduled installation of agreed unit next day Wednesday. All in all Chris and his team had my complete AC system replaced within 48 hours since initial contact. The installer was great and made everything look as if this was the unit installed by the builder. Office staff handled warranty registration and city inspection quickly and provided documentation as requested. Ameritech is has a great team of people that care for the customer thus why I would recommend them to my family and friends.

Moving into a new home, the AC unit was old and not cooling at all... it was mid 90s in the house and unlivable. AmeriTech's scheduling was packed for a few days but because of our situation the customer service rep went out of her way to find someone to help us the same day! Ben and Dan were very helpful in providing different options (cost vs. quality) to chose from, and we were able to get the entire cooling system replaced the next day. The installation team did a great job and the new AC system is fantastic! Quick, knowledgeable, reliable, and a good value!

If you’re looking to get ripped off, look no further. We paid 260.00 and they “cleaned our AC drain” in May 2024. Ac kept shutting off for 5 weeks. Called them again to fix our ac and they “cleaned the ac drain” again and charged us another 260.00??, for 10 minutes work. I would expect a repeatable company to fix the issue and not charge twice. We’ll be pulling all our accounts.

You must think people aren’t too smart. You charge 260 to clean a drain and 5 weeks later it’s clogged and they you say you only warranty your work for 30 days? We’ve never had a drain clog before this one, so to say your cleaning only lasts for. 5 weeks, is the proof that you never fully cleaned it. You can either refund the 2nd 260.00. Or we’ll see you in court.

BUYER BEWARE of this company. This gives you can indication of what you’re up against with this company.

I did a lot of shopping around for my new AC unit and decided to include Ameritech based on the amount of positive reviews they had. Chris took his time to explain the different equipment options as well features that we should consider which no other company even remotely took the time to do. I was very impressed and scheduled the install before he left. The installers were great and did a good job cleaning up after themselves which was important since it was an attic install. The new unit is awesome! It's quiet and cools the room down nicely. I have a larger main unit to replace soon and will certainly be using them for it as well.
If you don't want to be treated like just another checkbook and want great customer service then give them a call!!

So I had two experiences with ameritech and overall it was very pleasant. I had a tech come out today to give me a free estimate on a new ac unit. He was very thorough in his explanation and I ended up getting a new Goodman ac system which will be installed tomorrow which is very cool. The other tech came out two days ago to service me old ac unit since it was leaking. He was very friendly as well. Though I wish there was better communication on his part. That's why I was not able to give the company 5 stars. I was told 59.99 to check out what the problem was. He told me what the problem was and told me he could quote me a price which he never did. At the end he told me he fixed the leak but the best thing would be to get a new ac unit since mine was old which I agreed. Then he charged me over $150.00 this was a bit frustrating because I was never quoted a price before he did a service other than the $59.99 then the ac unit was fixed but then I was recommended to probably get a new unit which I ended up doing. I wish the recommendation would have come prior so I wouldn't waste over 150.00 on a ac unit I am getting rid of now. Overall they are very friendly and knowledgeable just wish the communication was better with the first tech because I did waste quite a bit of money there.

The experience was excellent from start to finish. Chris did a great job giving us an estimate for a quality unit at a good price. He made us feel comfortable that he knew what he was doing and wasn't trying to oversell us. The installation was scheduled within 2 days. The installer Paul arrived on time and completed the work in one day and did an excellent job. Overall we were very pleased with the entire experience.

Ameritech installed my AC unit 6 years ago. I had no issues and in fact referred several friends who also used their services. 4 months ago, AC coil had to be replaced. Part was under warranty but we paid for labor. Two weeks ago, AC stopped working and it was determined that it was a faulty coil. Ameritech initially tried to charge for labor at a reduced rate. I'm happy to report that after emailing the company that this was not satisfactory, they immediately replaced the coil at no charge to me. This, I believe is how you handle a customer complaint and I thank them for that. Sorry about some of the negative reviews on this site, but that's not been my experience.

I knew I had to replace my entire AC/Heating and I wasn't looking forward to it because of the potential headaches of finding a good company that could be trusted. Quality, dependability, and an easy and fast installation were all important to me. I had a very easy conversation with Chris Makin the salesman. They delivered on everything that he promised, including great installers. They were all excellent, great quality, and actually finished the installation a couple of hours sooner than I expected. I was referred to them by my neighbor and I am glad I went with AmeriTech!

There aren't enough superlatives to describe the crew at AmeriTech. This is the company you need to hire. Sabrina in the office was phenomenal; courteous and attentive. Kept me up to date throughout the entire repair process. Abdel and Bryan were consummate professionals handling the diagnosis and replacement of my AC system. You can tell these folks care about providing this important service for their customers. People are what drive businesses and AmeriTech has knocked it out of the park with their team.  Have been using AmeriTech for years and definitely will continue to do so! Highly recommend!

We had a great experience with this company to replace our entire HVAC unit in our home. The salesman, Chris, was very helpful in explaining our options and what type of unit we would need. They were quick to schedule the day the unit would be replace and it was done in one day. We got 2 other quotes and theirs was by far the best value. We had this done in April 2023 and we've had no problems at all this summer. Would highly recommend!

Chris was very professional and well versed in the company and the products and services that were offered. He took his time and explained the difference between the units and explained the entire process to me. He held my quote and price for 3 months and informed me of all my options. The crew came on time on the day of installation, helped me to load my old unit on to a trailer so I could recycle it myself. The crew was kind, professional and very courteous. They answered all of my questions about the installation. They also cleaned up all installation waste gave me my warranty package. The company also took care of my warranty registration and sent me confirmation emails with city permit and warranty included. Great company!

I highly recommend AmeriTech Air Conditioning. I have been using this company for a few years, recommended them to others who have had them do new systems or service. ************Today I called to have the unit they installed at my storage unit serviced. Just a general service. I was shocked when they quoted $289 for just a standard checkup. That's insane. They claimed its commercial, I explained its just my personal storage unit and its small that they installed the system. Nope, no change. I called three other companies just to see their price, all were $89. I was clear what size my storage unit was, no issues. They only charge more if its a big business. Too bad as I will tell all those I referred of my experience. Due to this I have changed from 5 stars to 2

We’ve been using them for two years for emergencies and preventative maintenance. Always on time, calls when on the way, quality service, neat, answering questions,, good cleaning and fair pricing. Office staff friendly and no hold time. I have them respond to emergencies fast when larger companies wouldn’t come. Never had to call them back to fix mistakes. Highly recommend.

Ameritech installed two units in our house in late 2022, since then it’s transpired they were installed on a base and it’s not level, so they’re not draining and leading to reliability issues. Constant phone calls and call outs later and it’s still not fixed. We paid $18k for two units, were promised reliability by Bob and now they want more money from us to completely rebuild the base unit, enliven though we were assured the new base was included in their original contract. Avoid this company at all costs as they don’t want to rectify their mistakes or honor their installation warranty.

Stay away from these people.
I bought a house with a 20-year-old A/C unit. One day, water leaked from it. I called AmeriTech, and their technician said the water pump was damaged, the unit needed a gas refill, and the best I could do was to purchase a new A/C unit.
My husband took the water pump out, and it worked (and still works) perfectly. However, there was a hidden switch that provides energy to the water pump, and as it turns out, the switch was off. I spent $125 with the electrician I trust to discover that the issue was a simple switch.
Days later, a rep from Ameritech called me with the following speech: Their technician's report said that the pump needed replacement, and based on the amount of gas he added, there must be a gas leakage somewhere. Here is a special offer for you: buy the water pump and get the water leakage detection for free!
Don't trust services from people who only want to drain money out of your pockets, that's AmeriTech.

I called this company to fix a leak of refrigerant
They charged me a lot to put two pounds of that and double of that to put a sealer or leaking stopper of some sort
Just after two weeks ago and now the quick fix is not working and they wanna charge again, after they promised to honor the work for 30 days smh! Bad diagnostic and abusive customer service.
Fortunately, there are lots of better a/c technicians! And more serious companies.

Do not under any circumstances do business with this company. I bought an AC unit that the salesman pitched was great and if there were any issues they had service techs to come fix it. I have had multiple issues with it and it went out again. The staff that answered the phone were rude and stated that they did not have a tech available for 3 days! We live in Florida! There was no one else I could speak with. I requested a call from some type of manager and did not receive one, which I figured I wouldn’t due to the way the girls answering the phones were acting. They were no help. The customer service is terrible, they do not keep their word. I called another company who was able to get out to fix my unit within an hour of my call. They were great and honest with me regarding the horrible unit that AmeriTech sold me. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

I have used Ameritech for several years and their service has always been excellent. Most recently, the technician was on time, courteous, and explained everything in detail.

After waking up to a non-working thermostat and no A/C, we were fortunate to have a neighbor refer us to AmeriTech, the company that has done much work in our condo complex. We experienced the reason why so many owners here are happy with AmeriTech. The process was smooth...from our initial phone call to the office for scheduling to our technician's prompt and quality service. Our problem was accurately diagnosed and solved, for a reasonable price. We had a similar situation in a previous home and felt ripped off. We are pleased with Ameritech and won't hesitate to call them again.

I originally bought an AC from them 8 years ago and have used them several times since for maintenance and repairs. They're great with good prices and great service. Never had a problem.
