Stephen was amazing from DC/AC! He came in with a smile, took note of our thermostat and immediately went to the outside unit. The AC could have some high end repairs but would most likely need more soon after since it was 15 years old. He gave us all the different possibilities of what we could go with and all the difference with tax credits, thermostats that now measure and control with humidity. We will soon be the proud owner with a no interest payment schedule with maintenance included. So very happy that we called DC/AC and got Stephen at our door on a Saturday within 30 minutes! Thank you Stephen!!

This is THE BEST Ac company in Florida. We have used them for close to 30 years. Brent and Jason run an amazing company with knowledge and integrity. And good prices. My AC went out on a Saturday night and they were here Sunday morning! Highly highly recommend.

I’ve had a maintenance service contract with DC/AC air since June of 2021 and I’ve been satisfied with their service. Today Stephan came to fix our unit which stopped yesterday abruptly and he was great!! Not only did he find the problem right away and fixed our clogged drain line but he educated me on the monthly maintenance to do to the unit and extend the life of it. I appreciate him going the extra mile for me!! I highly recommend this company and Stephan. ☺️

i am over the moon right now, my experience with Jason and his company was beyond amazing!

originally i had called out another company to diagnose my AC unit and they said i needed a motor replacement, i needed a new capacitor, i needed this and that and the total quote was about $3000. now i don’t know much about ACs but i sure knew that i was getting ripped off.

now, i got Jason’s number from a friend who said that they only ever go with him. i called monday evening, he was at my doorstep tuesday morning.

right from the start of the phone call he told me what he thought the problem could possibly be when i gave him my symptoms, it was extremely reassuring to hear someone who didn’t just tell me “oh we can’t tell you what the problem might be, we would need to send a technician out”.

when he came by, he was super friendly and he was able to diagnose the problem and fix it within minutes. guess what, the problem was not the motor and capacitor, it was a really simple fix, so simple in fact that Jason didn’t even charge me anything.

every step of the way, he was letting me know what he was doing, why he was doing it and it was more of an educational experience rather than what i’ve experienced with other AC companies who tried to keep me in the dark and not tell me what they were doing so they could charge me more for unnecessary work

not just that, but i had a bunch of questions about HVAC stuff and Jason took the time to answer them fully and not just brush me off like other companies have done in the past

it is extremely easy to be dishonest and charge an insane amount of money for parts and labor in the HVAC business as most customers do not know what they’re looking at or even what to expect but Jason did not do that at all. he was honest right from the start and i think that is extremely hard to come by

if you’re ever looking for any work that needs to be done on your AC i cannot recommend this company enough, they have my business from now on and i don’t think i will ever be contacting another company again!

I recently had the pleasure of experiencing fantastic service from Stephen, who did an amazing job addressing our AC issues. Our AC was blowing hot air and the compressor was not running, making the house unbearably warm. Stephen arrived promptly at our home, bringing not just his expertise but also a calm and reassuring presence.

Upon inspecting the unit, Stephen quickly diagnosed the problem: a corroded booster. His swift and efficient replacement of the booster had our home cooling down again within just 10 minutes! The transformation was immediate, and it felt like a miracle on such a hot day.

We've had countless AC companies swing by over the years in the hot Florida heat, and DC/AC is by far my favorite.

Words cannot express the gratitude that I have for this amazing company. I have previously used this company and have been extremely impressed by their loyalty and professionalism. The day after the hurricane, my A/C unit was accidentally damaged during tree clean up by a landscape company. It was struck by chainsaw and all the gases were released from the unit. I Contacted the company on late Friday, afternoon and they had a technician at my home repairing my A/C unit the same day! My unit is a older unit and all of the other A/C companies that my landscaper had reached out to were not sure if they were even able to repair the unit, due to the age of the unit. Joshua, the technician came out and did his amazing work. He was able to salvage and repair my older unit. Thank you to all of the team at DC/AC for your honesty and professionalism! Was traveling and my housesitter reported a (thankfully) minor issue with my AC that was causing it to shut off. I called AC/DC first thing in the morning and they were able to come out the same day. They arrived early and resolved it quickly all for a pretty reasonable price, all things considered. Would definitely recommend!

This is a great company. I would highly recommend them for any heating and air conditioning issues. Stephan came out promptly and gave a very thorough inspection. The Best. I went through three techs prior to Stephen with DC / AC, all of whom disregarded my perceived issue and immediately went for the sale of new units.

I will recommend him to every single person I know proactively because it is a God-send to have an honest expert.

After seeing reviews on facebook, our first call was placed at 3:53. We hadn’t even paid a dollar yet and we had cool air I’d say within an hour tops.

Actually, he gave our kids a few bucks out of his own pocket to get ice cream before we had even paid the incredibly generous repair cost of $130.

Other companies charged me more than that to come out and lie to my face, unless their techs truly had no practical hvac knowledge.

One actually pretended to do the same repair Stephen did when I asked them to see if that was the issue and said it didn’t work. Lol.

The skill difference in watching Stephen work vs others was astounding. I have little practical knowledge of HVAC, but know enough to know when people are or are not masters of their craft. Stephen @ DC / AC is a master of his craft and as kind and good of a human being as I’ve met.

Every HVAC company could take a lesson from these guys. It’s rare to find one that’s not a PE sellout.

Seriously, if you’re looking for a reputable HVAC company, knowing not every unit can be saved but if there’s a chance, they won’t be quick to see you as a short term dollar sign instead of a long term client.

Funny enough, we’re absolutely planning to replace our units in the near future. I just didn’t want a sell out PE company that I couldn’t trust to do it. I needed to find a company with real techs still.

The Service Manager , Stephen arrived about 15 minutes after I called for service. I was shocked! He was very professional, performed a diagnosis and had written quote for me within 30 minutes. He explained what the problem was, checked the warranty on my system, and scheduled repairs for the next morning. Jenifer and Jason in the office followed up with me every step of the way, making sure I was informed and at ease so nothing was a surprise. The whole DC/AC team was very pleasant to work with.
Next day: The Technician, Robert Centeno, arrived as promised, he called ahead to let me know he was an the way. Again, very professional, he answered all my questions and was very personable, and easy to talk with. I finally found a reputable, professional company to work on my A/C system. This company does what they say!!

Jennifer in the office is great at explaining plans for annual maintenance. I recommend the twice a year as the rate gets better as well you receive an emergency call that's included in the plan.

I am so thankful for DC AC air-conditioning! They have great people who thoroughly check to determine the problem, ,explain exactly what’s wrong, solutions.and fix it quickly at a reasonable price. They don’t try to sell you on something you don’t need.

I had the company who installed my air conditioner check it because I was having water leakage. They said the damage was so bad, that they didn’t even give me a repair option. I got a crazy high estimate to replace the new air conditioning. They also said I had to replace all the ducting, all the dampers and needed air cleaning.. I felt very pressured to accept right then because it was so hot, in such bad shape and pricing was going up. Afterwards I felt sick to my stomach like I had been scammed. DC AC came over on Sunday checked my unit got it running for less than a 10th of the price that the other company was going to charge me to replace the unit which was still under Warranty. I totally recommend them and appreciated their honesty and gave me peace of mind.

Best AC company ever! Have lived here for 17 years. 3-4 times a year same issue over and over with water drainage backing up. After numerous AC techs and several companies, Jason came up with a solution and since he has been my tech..no more issues. If 10 stars was available He and his company would get 10⭐️
