Called them in suspecting we had mold in our AC. They took a look and said our vents were clean. They are honest and responsive. I would call on them again if we needed AC work done.

The 2 guys that came to clean the ducts were very friendly, respectful of myself and property. They did an amazing job! Would 100% recommend this company to anyone needing duct work.

Beware - I paid $1,545 for this company to clean my vents and the Blower. When they finished they taped up the hole they made when they cleaned the inside. They should have sealed it properly (POOR WORKMANSHIP)

later the seal failed and I cooled my attic unknowingly for 3 months and my AC bill went through the roof and I had to pay $3k to replace the blower. Ductz said "um, sorry" They didn’t take any responsibility. I even had a prof AC company agree that it was poor workmanship.

Now I have to deal with this in small claims court. Also, check the Better Business Bureau as they had similar complaints.

Crew started cleaning and ran into an alarm wire in duct. They cleared this and completed the job. Upon their leaving we started our HVAC and it did NOT work. We checked our thermostat and whatever we could. We called our AC service and they found that the blower motor was shorted out and had to be replaced. How does this happen when they were the only ones inside our unit? They claim NO responsibility and offered NO assistance with our $1,100.00 bill for replacement. This is NO way to run a business, will not recommend them or their services.

Andy (owner) came out to my house several times and was helpful with redesigning/correcting improper duct work that was originally installed with the house. He could have easily tried to upsell me on items I did not need; instead he helped design a repair that would improve air quality and efficiency. They also fogged the system with an antimicrobial agent. Definitely give Andy/Ductz a call when you need duct cleaning or have duct related issues. I also recommend spending some time online and performing proper due diligence to educate yourself on different duct cleaning methods, causes for ac system moisture, etc. I also suggest inspecting any air duct work yourself or asking the company to perform a follow up visit a week or two after work is performed to re-inspect for leaks. Unfortunately air system sealants and products are highly prone to failure and sometimes need to be resealed.
In summary- give Andy/Ductz a call for your AC duct cleaning needs.

In the world we live in, we need more people like Andy. He’s a man who doesn’t put profit before honesty, which is greatly appreciated. He shares his knowledge and experience because he cares.

My air quality had deteriorated over the last year and dust had become my nemesis and stressor. I had a new HVAC system installed and still, so much constant dust! Convinced it had to be the ducts, I was referred to Andy.

Andy knew I was desperate for a resolution and ready to write him a check to fix it. He saw my disappointment when he told me he didn’t believe that my ducts needed cleaning. Yet he took the time to listen to my home’s symptoms and ask me questions in order to assist in determining my next course of action. He recommended I invest in a quality HEPA air purifier and HEPA vacuum. He wrote up a quote for the duct cleaning and walked me through the process and my options, should I still want to have them cleaned. He gave me 45 minutes of his time, expertise and advice and charged me nothing.

I took Andy’s advice re: the HEPA purifier (bought a large and small) and HEPA vacuum and within 2 weeks, the difference in my home is amazing. Not to mention my stress level. I was referred to him by someone I trust and now he is someone I trust and refer to anyone needing his services.

    Ductz was amazing!
I won’t say anything bad about the other company I worked with prior to Ductz, but I will share my experience about Ductz of Greater Orlando. They were timely, gave me before and after photos to show workmanship & made an old system look and work like almost new again! My advice; make sure it gets done right the first time with Ductz!

    Thank you Ductz,
    Your customer for life :)

I would highly recommend Ductz for mold remediation! Michelle and Andy were amazing as well and so responsive. The 2 men doing the mold remediation removed the mold, and cleaned up beautifully. Top notch work all around!

Andy came back several times with no extra charge just to make sure everything was perfect.
Michelle, his office staff, was very attentive, personable and helpful! Good communication too. She even referred me to another service that I needed. A+ service!

These guys did a great job, starting with honest, accurate estimate. They didn't try to sell me extra services that I didn't need. The guys that did the cleaning were friendly and professional, and explained what they were doing along the way, and showed me all the junk they got out of my a/c vents when they were done. They also cleaned up after themselves, you couldn't even tell they had been there, except for the clean smell in the house! Awesome company!

Andy (President) of Ductz came out today and began to do an estimate for our church building but then revealed to me that we didn't need it done. We requested bids from other contractors but they either kept silent about this or actually told us we were in great need of getting it done! Andy however used a flashlight and showed us that our ductwork was actually clean inside and that the dust we were seeing outside the vent near the ceiling was probably dust from below that got stirred up and found it's way to the vent exit which then blew against our ceiling tiles as air blew out. Andy turned down the job due to his integrity and respect for others. Feeling a need to repay him, I gratefully write this review - we also had him look at our other building which looks like it will require cleaning for our daycare. Thank you, Andy and Ductz!

If I could give them 6 stars I would. Very knowledgeable, thorough, and professional. They added an extra guy onto someone else's job so they could squeeze me in sooner to get rid of the mold in our vents. Every single person, from the person I spoke to on the phone, to the owner who did the estimate, and the 3 gentlemen who came out were friendly, professional, and thorough! They cleaned up any mess made before they left and they did an amazing job.

Duct cleaning and repair was done well. Also did dryer vent cleaning. Timely arrival and departure. Some issues with repair cleanup that Andy resolved the very next day. Another company wouldn't have bothered to make sure that the customer was satisfied after payment had already been received, and this extra effort by Andy earns Ductz 5 stars.

What an honest person! I called around for quotes to clean my AC ducts. Everyone quoted me a price and wanted to setup a service date. Andy said he will come out to do an inspection before quoting. When he finished the inspection, he said I did not need to have the ducts cleaned. What a pleasant experience. If anyone needs to have their ducts cleaned, call Andy first!!

I’m writing about Ductz Orlando, the company that cleans air conditioning and dryer vents. In short, this is an absolute first-class outfit and I can’t say enough good things about Andy Izbicky, one of the owners. I was pricing a complete air-conditioning vent cleaning and called Ductz for an estimate. After doing a thorough inspection, Andy promptly told me I didn’t need it; my vents looked clean and I would be just wasting my money. Saved me at least $1500. Then, as he was leaving, he noticed my dryer was venting into the garage, something we just assumed was meant to be (it was there when we bought the home). He thought that was unusual, scheduled a return visit so he could check it out further and then on the return visit fixed the problem by re-venting the dryer back through the attic and out the roof. And here we were living with dryer dust and particles all over my cars every time we dried our clothes. The whole charge (and Andy was here about an hour and a half) was $110. Without any reservation, I would recommend Ductz and Andy for your duct cleaning and venting needs. They are knowledgeable, experienced, reliable, reasonably priced, nice and best of all, honest.

In today's world, it is unfortunate that we cannot find people we trust to do business with. Mainly because they just want to sell something that isn't even needed. With Ductz however, that is not the case. I appreciated the fact that from the phone conversation to the house inspection they were truly honest. They were super responsive, professional and straight to the point. When they came to inspect the house, they mentioned that our unit is in good condition and if there is anything that we wanted to do would have been minor and probably not even necessary now. This is what I appreciate (the fact that they did business the right way). This is the service I would definitely use in the future if needed and would recommend to my family to use. You don't need someone to come to your house and just invoice you for anything, you need someone that will do it the right and honest way. Ductz is the place for that, highly recommend them.

Please understand that originally, I did this for my wife, as I didn’t believe there would be a benefit given the expense, I was wrong. Andy, the owner, quoted the job and I started trusted him when he stated that the downstairs unit and ducks did not merit the expense. The upstairs is where we should focus on as he was seeing some dark spots on the vents. This was not something that the other company that I got the quote from brought to my attention.
My wife and I decided to move forward so I called Ductz and spoke with Michelle. I let her know that I needed to get this done before the end of November, as my very allergic daughter was moving back in. Michelle scheduled the job and then later called me as she had a cancellation and wanted to know if I would rather do it sooner than originally scheduled, of course. Michelle emailed the papers over so that I could sign and move forward.
One day before the scheduled date, Michelle called to confirm. The following day Deon and Jake showed up as expected, inspected the job to be done and started unloading. They first concentrated on the handler (15 years old) in the attic and then called me up to explain what they were seeing. Mold. They move forward with the cleaning of the handler, then cleaning of all the ducks and vents. Finally, they coated the ducks (to better avoid future mold buildup), fogged the system (to disinfect) and cleaned up after themselves.
My wife and I are very happy with Ductz. They were all very professional and polite. I hope not to do this again, however if I do, I will use Ductz.

We had a very good service with Ductz. The office staff was professional and helpful. I received a range of pricing so that I knew ahead the least and most the duct cleaning would cost. Andy showed up on time, very professional and easy to work with. He is very easy going and knowledgeable. He completely cleaned up after himself. It ended up costing us the low end of the range we were quoted. Work was done quickly and very well. He even helped with an additional issue which I thought of after he arrived. They are putting me on their list to call back every 2 years for maintenance. So I don’t have to worry. A+

I experienced a second mold infestation in my upstairs bathroom 8 months after hurricane Ian. A mold inspection team determined that the cause was moisture condensation from the HVAC ducts in the attic. I was bewildered and upset as I had spent $2,000 after the mold first appeared to have the same AC problem fixed.

So having just moved a couple of years ago to Florida from San Francisco where HVAC is not necessary, I knew nothing about mold or central AC. So this time, I contacted five mold remediation companies recommended by good friends and contractor contacts.

One company told me the entire ducting system in my attic had to be completely gutted and rebuilt. Another recommended installing a very expensive dehumidifier in the attic among other things. A couple of others said all that was necessary to fix the moisture issue was to replace the mastic that sealed the duct joints to the AC supply and the vents.

I ended up going with Ductz, a smaller firm who as it's name suggests now specializes in HVAC ducting. It's owner Andy and his team is equally competent in other HVAC installs and repairs but ducting demand is so strong from word of mouth referrals, Andy opted to focus on it.

I was concerned at first that I could not get my job scheduled as Andy and Ductz's work backlog is quite full. But Michelle the office manager was so responsive and contacted me about an early cancellation. Andy and his lead tech Deon came over and inspected the attic ducting and found that some ducts were waterlogged and indeed needed to be replaced. Others not over the mold area were still okay but might need maintenance in the future.

I like the fact that it was their intent to recommend fixes only when necessary and their pricing reflected their extensive expertise and experience and very quick work in fixing ducting related issues. So the quote I received was a small fraction of the total duct replacement quoted by the much bigger company.

I was very satisfied with the work on the ducts that required immediate replacement. So much so I requested them to come back and just replace the ducting that might require future maintenance.

When Deon the lead tech and his assistant came back to do so, I asked him if he could do something about the big temperature differences between the bathroom and bedrooms upstairs. He came up with a simple solution of putting special filters in the vents of the affected rooms.

So it's been a more than a week now and my fears of the mold coming back due to attic moisture have been eased. Moreover I have been monitoring the room temperatures upstairs and the differences are now minimal.

Needless to say I am a happy camper and would not hesitate to recommend Ductz for your HVAC ducting issues and beyond. Just call Michelle at their office and she will refer you to Andy or Deon if they can help.
