Best A/C company around. We’ve been using them for years and they’ve never let us down. Just recently our A/C went out on a Sunday and Zach came out and solved the problem. Always fast and extremely reliable!

Steve and Dylan did a great job installing a complete new Trane system in our home in Ft. Pierce. They were fast, efficient and timely. They left the house clean and the price was very competitive. I would recommend them to anyone.

Great job! Called me back quickly, tech there as stated, fixed in half an hour with warranty part…all I had to pay was weekend service call and install time. Wife almost didn’t know the air was off;-)

Since we moved in we noticed black stains around the unit outside in the garage
We calledin for warranty services as we were told we had back in 2020 and they came and checked with a little
Machine that detected “air flow” and didn’t do anything other than saying everything looked fine. We still have issues with one of our rooms where there’s no air flow and now after three years the outside unit is covering with black mold when we were told it was just dirt. I called today and they told me they don’t have any logs stating mold and I said of course not
Why would you log that…. And they offered to come and check for a charge lol
I called another company and they will come and take a look so if there are any issues with this unit I’ll be in touch.

I have a warranty and I have now called for a month with no call back. My drain pipe is not effectively draining, I have the wrong type of registers, and They blocked one area and haven’t come back to make the other area accessible so now I can’t change out filters. At the beginning they were great but now they don’t honor their word.

Beware…GMS installed our air conditioning in our new construction home in Palm City. We started calling them in June for warranty work and they have been giving us the runaround ever since, dodging our calls, said they will call us back and we have heard nothing. I have called them twice a week for months and have gotten nowhere. My husband left a more detailed separate review… read it before hiring them!!!

We had some warranty work that was supposed to be completed on our new build home. They came out agreed with the issues took pictures and then said they would get in touch with us to schedule. Their installation was poor and my infant daughters room doesn’t get proper air flow, she wakes up sweating in her crib and struggles to sleep.

It’s been months now. At first they said “let me talk with my manager and I’ll call you back”. No call back. So we try calling for a week, no answers any time of day. So we call from another phone number, and surprise… they answer. “Let me talk to my manager we will call you back”. Nope. They blacklist this number too.

Call with a third number, they answer… of course. Same thing, “let me talk to my manager”. We told them we were frustrated and explained the situation. They didn’t care, “we will call you back”. I’ve given up, which is what they want. But without getting lawyers involved what other course of action do I have?

Based on some of the recent reviews I don’t seem to be the only one. These are shady people. Avoid at all costs, they don’t deserve your business.

Installation went very smooth. They came as promised and did everything for a reasonable price. They finished inside of 6 hours. Friendly and considerate. Company owner communicated with me on details and supervised issues as needed. Good job well done.

Steve came out to look at our air conditioning unit. It is old and wasn’t working properly. He had it fixed and knew exactly where to go! Highly recommend him and his company! Thank you! You have a customer forever!

GMS installed a new unit for me back in 2019. Had a small issue with heat because yeah I never use it . Steve the owner sent Nick & Steve and they were on time, did the repair and even vacuumed the floor after. My experience is worth leaving a review! Good job GMS.

Horrible!!! Horrible!!! Call the BBB!!

Don't use them. Our air conditioner froze up on July 20, 2024. We called them and Meghan picked up and told us someone would come out on July 21, 2024. Between 10-1. A tech came out said he does not have the part. So, we needed to wait til July 22, 2024. We have no air for two days. The temperatures are in 92. I have a small child, two dogs and myself and husband. I have a black metal roof in the month of July. The house is in 91 upstairs and 88 downstairs. We had waited to see if GMS sheetmetal & A/C would let us know about helping my family fixing the problem. My husband had to call them 8 am and again at 9am. We are chasing them down to get the part. We are with no air and not one call. No communication from them. Finally, we get a phone call from Meghan telling us 1-5 pm someone will be by. Meanwhile, the no air spent 10,000 on a brand new Trane Ac unit from them two months ago. No parts available locally. Only in Orlando the part was found. 48 hours with no air!!! There is a part for our AC at PSL. We are being lied too!! We are suffering from heat within our home with our dogs and child. No one is willing to help to call or do anything. I have never had such horrible service. Be ware this is not a honest, caring company. The company doesn't care to take of the issues and dragging out excuses of why!!! My family is in our home hot and sweating because we can not the truth.
Please think twice before calling this company.

Great crew, very knowledgeable, detailed, GREAT PRICES and a pleasure to work with. I had major issues for the past 3 years with my A/C. Over the past year I had 5 estimates and none of them could figure out how to help solve my problem. Steve from GMS Sheetmetal & A/C came highly recommended through my neighbor that just built a new house. Steve came out and put a plan together that nobody else could figure out. I gave him the job and 5 days later his crew showed up with everything that was needed to complete my job. Awesome crew, Mike, Rob and Rob were like the A-Team!!!. On my existing unit they configured all my ductwork (Return & Supplies vents). I have a 3300 square foot house, which 1 unit was not efficient enough to do the job. They added a new, complete package 2 ton unit to the other side of my house. Steve was awesome, he came out both days of installation and checked on my job. This is one person that truly impressed me. my house is finally cool!!!!!

Worst experience ever with GMS!!! Avoid this company!!! They installed a Rheem 5 ton unit that has never worked properly since installed. Refused to fix "non" cooling issues. Never showed for our scheduled appointments that could possibly resolve the issue. We've even shown up at their warehouse and were told pure lies. I've cried and roasted in my home on a daily basis in the summer. We have to "replace" the entire AC with another company. They sold us a "lemon" and refuse to help or fix. Even Rheem would not return numerous calls.

GMS is wonderful! Gave me an appointment right away, diagnosed and solved my broken AC. Reasonable cost too. BTW recommended them to a friend who could not get anyone to fix his AC and he got an appointment and fixed the same day. Very pleased! Honest and reasonable.

May we take the time to thank Steve for the professionalism and quick responses in this crazy heat . I have a family with two little ones and he was quick to respond during “ weekend “ call . He was quick to bring one of his best servicemen name Steve as well . I was scared lethargic nervous didn’t know the outcome of things. Both parties took very good care of me. I want to humbly think them from the bottom of our hearts to make sure that we had air-conditioning and there’s brutal heat in. My kids are okay both playing sports but being very young you guys are truly a blessing, and very quick to respond to any situation. I feel very comfortable and very close to this company. Thank you so very much for everything you guys have done I cannot express of gratitude. Joe provided me with options before doing any work and guided me as an inexperienced consumer to make the right decision for my family. Very hard to find this type of tech anymore. 100% would recommend

My AC which is 2 years old stopped working, and that is not fun in south Florida. This company is the company that installed our unit when the house was built 2 years ago, so I called them, explained the issue and the nice lady on the phone explained what it likely is and any costs associated with that issue before the tech even came out. I thought that was nice to get a potential cost..
The lady told me the tech would be here between 2 and 6pm. Well right at 2pm the tech showed up. He quickly found the issue, clogged drain. He didn't charge anything more than the initial fee told to me over the phone. A good honest company.

Great overall experience, AC stopped working, I called made an appointment for same day service, showed up on time, wore boot covers when inside, explained the issue, did the repair. Left the home cooler and cleaner then when they came. Great technicians.

Update had GMS back for a dehumidifier & IAQ installation. Big shoutout to Steve and the team at GMS Air Conditioning in Palm City, FL!
