After complaining for years about my monthly electric bill I decided it was time to buy anew high efficiency air conditioner and to get rid of my single-speed pool pump and put in a new high efficiency variable-speed pump. I'm not a technical guy when it comes to pool equipment so I knew I needed to talk to a professional. My neighbor is the retired owner of a pool construction company so I asked himm for advice. He recommended Guardian Pools - a recommendation that was echoed by my son that lives in Miramar. I contacted Guardian Pools and they were prompt and courteous in their response. Lance came out, surveyed the situation, quoted me what I felt was a good price for a Sta-Rite four-speed pump and installation. He sent out a mechanic two days later on the time and day he promised. I was very happy with the installation - it was clean and neat. Time will tell now if the new pump affects my electric bill as much as I hope for.

Horace has been takeing care of my pool every week for almost 5 years now. He never missed a day, always like clockwork, on time and thorough. Guardian has never inflated the price for any repair I've needed. Their prices are very fair and do not charge me extra for chemicals and minor maintenance issues and repairs. My previous pool guy charged me for the service and I had to provide the chemicals

I hired GUARDIAN POOLS over a year ago and from the very beginning we have been impressed with their high quality of service. Lance (the manager) pays very close attention to detail and frequently communicates with us. Whenever a repair to the equipment is needed they always contact us and discuss it and give a price in advance and then promptly resolve the issue. Our pool always looks great and their prices have been very fair. I would recommend this fine company

Guardian Pools is my pool service company. Their people are friendly, dependable and well-trained. Pete is thorough and pleasant during his weekly visits to clean and service the pool. I have found Lance Thibideau, the company owner, to be particularly competent and responsive when an occasional issue arises, he stays in contact personally and is easy to reach. Lance advocated for me last year in a warrantee/guarantee situation with a pool equipment manufacturer, with impressive success, even though another pool company installed the equipment before I hired Guardian Pools.. It truly is a pleasure to do business with Guardian Pools. If the first two years is any indicator of what I might expect in the future I will be with this company for years to come.

I have unsuccessfully tried other pool service companies in the past and decided this past month to give Guardian Pools a try. After searching the internet I found a lot of positive reviews and some indicating that this company has been in business for almost 50 years. I feel that doesn't happen unless you do more right than wrong. They were very prompt getting my pool repair job scheduled, very respectful to me and my property, and my pool is working perfectly again. Imagine my surprise when the bill arrived and it was exactly what I was quoted, no surprises. I have found my new pool company and I am pleased to tell others about my experience.

I’ve dealt with a few pool companies, and they never stay consistent. I’ve been using guardian pools for almost a year now, and my service tech is Rick. He always listens to my needs, and works with me. Def recommend!

Pete from Guardian Pools has now been servicing my pool and spa for over a year. Normally, after a couple of months, past pool guys that have serviced our pool would start slacking off. That has not been the case with these guys. My pool and spa have been serviced on a regular basis since the start and they do the job right every time. The staff is really friendly and answer all my questions with no problem. I don't want to criticize past companies but I can tell you that there is NO COMMUNICATION BARRIER with this company. This is a fine company and I recommend them highly.

I was with guardian pools for about 17 months. They were inconsistent with their service for months. Some weeks they wouldn’t show up at all. Some weeks the pool would start turning green 2 days after they serviced it.
I finally got fed up and canceled their service. I requested a refund for the month they didn’t show up for service. They verbalized they would provide a refund. One month later not only have they not given me my refund, they charged me for another month of service that they haven’t provided! I signed up for a pool service to save my family time and peace of mind. This company has done everything but that.

Guardian Pools was servicing the pool for the landlord at a rental house I was leasing in Davie. I got to know Jose, the weekly technician, and I liked the way this company operated. So after leaving my rental and buying a house in Weston with a pool I continued service with Guardian. Lance and his team have been caring for our pool for over two years now and they continue to be the best. We were assigned a different technician when we moved but Edwin, our current guy, is just as good as Jose was back at the rental house. This is truly a 5 star company.

Guardian Pools has been servicing my pool for over 3 years now. Their work is exemplary and they are so easy to communicate with. My pool is currently being serviced by Abraham and although he has just serviced my pool a few times, his work and his attitude are excellent.

David, the owner has been responsive whenever I have had an issue with my pool. They are fairly priced.

I was on the look out for a new pool company to service my pool. I had a friend of mine recommend David and his crew at Guardian and they have been the best decision i ever made with my pool. From my weekly service to the leak i had which they fixed has been phenomenal. Great customer service.

I switched to Guardian after previous pool company never showed or called even though they were constantly provided with community gate code and my cell number. Richard, with Guaradian Pools always shows, does a great job, leaves a card stating what was done and gets along with my dog, which is rare since she is pretty protective. Lance the manager is also quite responsive to any questions I may have. So far every staff person has been professional and great to deal with.

Guardian pool service is a great company. They've always done an amazing job at cleaning my pool, the pool never turns green. My new pool technician Abraham is always on time and does an awesome job.

I have to begin this review by saying that it been a long time since I been as impressed with a company and its people as I have been with Guardian Pools. Our motel pool did not pass health department inspection due to some equipment problems. Lance came out and looked at the situation first and then sent out Rick & Dave the next day to begin the work. They did the repairs and we were back up & operating in just 3 days!! Guardian Pools service was outstanding from the beginning of the job to the end of the job. This was the first time we used them & we will definitely use them in the future for all our repair work.. Thank you so much for a job well done!!!

They take great care of my pool and repairs are prompt and complete. No issues - they’ve always (12 years) were our go-to for repairs, and after some poor experiences with other pool cleaners we switched to Guardian for our maintenance and have been happy with their service.

I called Guardian about switching out my single speed pool pump for a variable speed pump and a new cartridge filter. They walked me through the difference between the different models and a recommendation for what would be the right fit for my pool. These guys know their stuff ! They never tried to up-sell anything and everyone I dealt was great. Rick came for the installation and did an awesome job. He was very patient with all my questions and left the job neat and clean after the installation. One of the best customer service experiences I have had since moving to Florida. We have been through about 10 pool service companies. The last one went out of business without notice. We knew that the quality of pool service cannot be predicted by sales rep's rhetoric nor by the cost. It was urgent to get a professional company to service our pool as we were in the middle of an inspection by the Health Department.

We contracted with Guardian because they were responsive and charged reasonable rates. They have been extremely cooperative, invested in the quality of our pool and provided excellent communication - all rare for south Florida. We learned that the quality of a company comes down to whoever does the work. We were assigned an excellent tech, Robbie, who has gone the extra mile to get our pool right - not leaving out any detail. Though we just started our contract, we expect this quality to continue. We highly recommend this company to anyone who wants a beautiful pool.
