Constraction reviews in Pinellas Park, Florida

We interviewed a lot of painters over a two-year period, several of which declined to bid based on three stories and balconies. JSL Painting was a clear choice and came highly recommended based on a record of quality and delivery. They cleaned, filled cracks, repaired damage, caulked and primed prior to spray painting the first coat, then rolling the second plus hand painting as required. They provided sound advice along the way and stuck to the contract even when extra work was required, like removing/grinding and filling in for a hundred screws that were left from our obsolete storm shudders. Jay and his team were awesome…personable, professional, conscientious, clean/tidy, and continuously checking in with us to make sure we were happy with the work and in response to questions. JSL Painting exceeded all of our expectations! A role model other contractors!

JSL is truly the best, their work literally has our neighbors turning their heads and some have even requested a quote to have their houses repainted! Our house is older and had alot of flaws, but thanks to Jay and his team, it really looks brand new, we are so happy and quite impressed! All we need now is a new roof :)

Jay really cares about quality and stands by his work. JSL did two rooms for me and they look fantastic. Fair pricing, prompt, good attention to detail . . . you can't ask for more. Highly recommend.

Jay and his team did a fantastic job painting the ceilings, walls and trim in most of our house. They were very professional and paid attention to the details, including assisting moving and protecting our furniture and belongings. The job was completed in the estimated time frame and looks fantastic. They cleaned up completely leaving us to simply enjoy the freshly painted house.
I would use them again and recommend you giving a call.

Jay was great to work with. My house looks so clean and crisp! I had the trim (white) and eaves done, with new shutters, and everything looks amazing. Thank you, JSL Painting! Will call you when the rest of the house needs to be done.

JSL Painting did an awesome job painting my house. They were friendly, professional, courteous and reasonable. They pressure washed, sealed, and applied two coats of paint. They even repaired all cracks and holes. I am so happy with the results and highly recommend them for your painting needs. Check out the before and after photos.

What a great experience. I wish all contractors were as professional and nice as they are. They pressure washed our walls, repaired cracks, caulked around the windows. Then after all this prep work was done, they painted our house. We love the quality of the paint job and we can only recommend JSL Painting for any painting needs. They provide quality work.

Update April 2025:

We hired JSL again to paint the interior. Once more the team was exceptional. I reiterate EVERYTHING I wrote below!

JSL has painted several homes in our neighborhood and all homeowners are extremely pleased. As were we. Jay & his team did a quality job, took care to take care of the details, were prompt and personable. Any request we made was handled with a smile and job well done.

We would highly recommend!

Outstanding Painting Service - Highly Recommended!

I recently had the pleasure of working with JSL PAINTING INC and their team, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. Their professionalism and quality of work has been exceptional.

From the initial consultation, Jay and the team were friendly, courteous, and highly professional. They pressure washed our walls, meticulously repaired all cracks and holes, sealed surfaces, and applied two coats of paint, transforming our house to look brand new. Their attention to detail and commitment to quality are truly commendable. They were flexible with our schedule, ensuring minimal disruption, and maintained a clean work environment throughout the project.

Our neighbors have been complimenting the new look of our home, and we couldn’t agree more. JSL PAINTING INC and their crew exceeded our expectations with their outstanding workmanship and customer service. If you need a trustworthy and skilled painting team, I highly recommend JSL PAINTING INC. Their exceptional service, reasonable pricing, and friendly demeanor make them a pleasure to work with.
Thank you for a fantastic job well done!

JSL fixed my crumbled window sill, removed and patched old screws and anchors holes, filled in the bottom of the house where the weed wacker chipped away paint over the years, secured loose soffits. They painted the full exterior and window sills. Jay was very flexible with our schedule. They covered all our plants and pavers so paint did not get on them. His crew was amazing. Anytime I asked them to do something they were so nice about it and gave 0 attitude. So pleasant. They walked the full house with me when they were done. We are very happy with their work and would recommend them to anyone.

I will echo what so many of the reviews of Jay Lewis and JSL Painting have stated. The work done by Jay and his exceptional team is extraordinary.

Quality craftsmanship has gone by the wayside in so many service industries lately, but that is not so in the case of JSL Painting. I knew from the introductory meeting that I made the right choice in Jay and Team.

Thank you for the amazing job! I will continue to recommend you and show off your work to those around me.

Jay and the team did a great job refreshing several areas of our home. Their attention to detail left us feeling very satisfied with the results. I highly recommend using them for any work you need done.

Found JSL on Google and decided to go with them because they had multiple repeat customers with 5 star reviews and now I completely understand why!

Jay the owner was very friendly & quick to come over and provide a quote and we were scheduled three weeks later.

Mark & Steve were the painters who did our house and I honestly can’t say enough good things about these guys! So nice, very polite and definitely have skill with an eye for detail and making the customer happy with honest to god, damn good work! They did minor stucco patching along with pressure washing, sealing, and color change painting our whole exterior. We have turf in our backyard and we’re really worried about overspray, but they took extra precaution and ensured no paint got on our turf or pavers!

I couldn’t be happier with the end result! We have a rental property and will absolutely be hiring them again for the exterior & interior job! Highly recommend! You won’t be disappointed!

Jay and his team are absolutely amazing! Great group of men who not only are professional & meticulous, but they actually care for the customer and want you to be happy. I am thrilled with my newly painted house and my neighbors have been complimentary and mentioned what a great job JSL did. Thank you for making me love my home again!

I have used JSL painting at least 4 times for both whole house exterior paint and interior work. Jay has long term employees who quietly go about the work and do it correctly. My goal on originally reaching out to them was to hire a smaller local firm. The only downside to that is their schedule is always full and you may have to wait a few weeks for a slot to open. They are a quality provider and I will use them again

We hired JSL to patch and paint the exterior of our house, and are very pleased with the work they did.

We have a block house with a textured coating that was chipping off and very dated, peeling paint. Jay gave us a very fair quote and set good expectations for what they could do for us. The patches they did match better than we had dared hope - unless you know to look for them, you'd have a hard time telling the patches apart from the original coating. The paint looks great, and was very neatly done with clean edges and clean lines.

Mark and Steve handled everything at our house and did a great job. They were professional, punctual, and checked in with us throughout the process to make sure we were in the loop and happy with their progress.

We got quite a few cost estimates, and while JSL wasn't the cheapest, they were the most comprehensive and the price was more than fair for the service they provided. We're glad we went with them, and would be happy to hire them again.

Jay and his team did a fantastic job making our home look and fresh and new. They were professional, responsive, courteous and efficient. Can’t recommend them enough and would highly suggest them when you’re looking for a home refresh! Thanks again to Jay and his team for a superb job!

Very responsive and professional. Highly recommended!

Workers in apartment complex not considerate of people living there. They were mainly goofing off and not taking their job seriously. Had better services with other companies.

United Land Services company is truly amazing the landscaping work they have provided thus far to my business property is on point. Very easy to communicate with the managers that show up with the crew, I called their office to get some extra services done and the office management are very pleasant and attentive to whatever issues we are calling about. Good people, Good Pricing, Amazing Work 👏👏👏👏
