Very helpful. Went in looking forwa specific bamboo. They asked the why and where. Showed me other species that may do better. I really appreciate it. They did not have any in stock of my new choice but a few weeks later they had plenty. Very knowledgeable. I can't wait to go back and get more.

Customer service was top notch! The young lady who helped my wife and I was awesome. She took her time and explained to us the different types of bamboo and how they could best suit our needs. All of the employees we encountered were thoughtful and professional. I look forward to using Island Bamboo again, Great place!

Very rude customer service. I went there this morning from Apollo Beach to Pinellas Park after I ask them on Facebook for the price of one plant, but they never answer me. I went in person, drove for more than an hour I was standing in front of the lady at the counter ( Brittany) for over 10 minutes to ask if she would send me someone because I want to buy a couple of plants, well she didn't even raise her eyes to let me know she was going to help me or greed me, she ignored me 100% very rude. I bought 3 plants there but you guys would never have my business again. I am a business owner and I greet every customer no matter how busy I get. Thanks for making me feel like nothing.

Everyone has an opinion of what their landscaping should look like. We were a blank slate other than we knew wanted bamboo. This company come out talked a little with us regarding our taste and needs, sent over a detailed drawing and nailed it all the way through even past the payment. Terry the owner just went above and beyond (1month) after and helped out. The installers were extremely courteous and clean. The back yard looks fantastic!! Thanks again, Terry!

Bamboo Bliss at Island Bamboo , Expert Help Made My Project Possible!

I recently visited Island Bamboo in Pinellas Park, in search of the perfect bamboo for my landscaping project, and I was blown away by the amazing selection! They had a vast array of different types and sizes, from towering giants to delicate clumpers, catering to every need and preference.

What truly elevated the experience was the exceptional service I received from Rob. He was a walking encyclopedia of bamboo knowledge, patiently taking the time to understand my specific requirements, including space limitations, growing conditions, and desired overall landscape aesthetic. He didn't just point me towards a random plant; he actively listened and offered insightful recommendations, ensuring I made the best choice for my project.

Thanks to Rob's expert guidance, I avoided the pitfalls of online shopping and confidently selected the perfect variety of bamboo that will thrive in my space and achieve my design goals. I'm so grateful for his expertise, patience, and genuine care – it's clear he loves what he does!

If you're looking for a fantastic selection of bamboo and real customer service, I highly recommend checking this place out. And if U get Rob, by chance, he was great at answering everything i threw at him and know you won't be disappointed.

Sidenote: They even properly bagged my tree and put it in my suv without even a spec of soil spilling out on the way home. Thank U guys so much for the care you wrapped “Timmy” with. :)

This place is a hidden gem that everyone needs to check out! They have a nice selection of flowering perennials, unique succulents, and colorful bromeliads. I was able to find just what I was looking for, plus a few more must-haves! If you’re looking for bamboo, this is THE PLACE, as the name suggests. Rob and Violet were super helpful and friendly. I can’t wait to go back to see what beauties they get in!

Today I focused mostly on Florida native species. They had a sweet selection to choose from.
Always enjoy going there. They have everything you need from A to Z. The plants are in appropriate soil so you don't have to be concerned.
It's a walk in the park.

We purchased several plants from them last week. The staff was very friendly. They answered all my questions and helped us get the correct species for our situation. They have a great selection and you will see what it will look like when mature. I highly recommend them for bamboo as they have a lot of varieties. The owner was nice, took time to see if we had any additional questions and to thank us for our business. They weren't pushy when helping us, which is a big plus in my book!

Love this place. We have bought several plants for our garden. The people are nice, helpful and friendly. The location has a beauty design. Today we went in not for a plant but for a gift for my mother. We found a nice bird house I know she will love and a few other things we want to come back for.

They got alot of really rare stuff nobody else has super lush and at really good prices

Island Bamboo is a great place to find bamboo and succulents along with a variety of unique plants. The prices are great and they have a big selection. We really enjoyed island bamboo!

This place is great! Tons of choices and very friendly helpful owner and staff. Very beautifully maintained. You can tell that the owner takes pride in his business.

If you want bamboo that is non-invasive then you'll have over a hundred varieties to choose from, all which can thrive in the Tampa area. The prices a reasonable and the people that work there know what they're talking about. I bought a few plants from them about 2 years ago and now they're over 25 ft tall if not taller and they are clumping so they are not invasive or trying to take over my yard. I use it to buffer sound and lights from a community near my home. As someone who is conscientious about helping our environment bamboo is the best way to go.

We love the fence Island Bamboo built and installed for us. It is beautiful! The owner and staff of Island Bamboo are wonderful too. I highly recommend checking out their services.

it’s about more than bamboo, even though they sell many beautiful types. This is a landscaping company. The interior of this location is more like a nursery of all types of Florida friendly plants made available to their servicing customers and the public. Located not far from 66th Street as it leaves US 19 South. They carry a large offering of a variety of Florida friendly plants at notably competitive prices. They sell planting supplies and have a small interior gift shop that sells indoor plants, chimes, bird and bat houses etc. Many of the plants they carry can be seen in the botanical gardens. The plants I have found, hard to find, they carried. They had a large variety of pre-mounted plants and all types of ferns. They had the largest frog and stag horn fern arrangement I had ever seen. The service was friendly and parking was limited.

We love the new outdoor space and have already used it a few times.  We will definitely use it more as the humidity drops in a few weeks. We really appreciate the guys helping us in their design ideas and professional work. Terry and Robb are the best. Would highly recommend. AMAZING RESULTS!

Phenomenal garden / landscape center! My FAV! This is not your Home Depot or Lowe’s garden center. It is heaven on earth for bamboo, palm & tropical plant lovers. Nice variety of native plants and many other kinds to choose from too. Whatever your fancy, this place will take your breath away. Friendly & knowledgeable staff!
