Landscaping reviews in Pinellas Park, Florida

Always check the price while checking out! Things always ring up at a higher price than they have it labeled on the shelf. The prices must always be rising and they can't keep up with new labels.

I left my $200 purchase at the end of 1 of 2 registers open with at least 10 or more people on each line. I stand on line for 30 or more minutes because I don't want to use self service check out. Meanwhile associates are standing around chatting!

Most items are not in order as annual and perennial plants at all mix matched with plants half dead

I have found that this Walmart has a great Garden Center. While I do not participate in gardening, my family has, and this is one of the most common departments frequented by them.
You will find that there is both an indoor and an outdoor section, both with cash registers that even I have taken advantage of. The plants and other goods are checked out through these registers (Providing that the rarely-staffed indoor registers are open), and you can even check out the rest of your purchases here, assuming that you do not have anything that needs weighing, like produce (No scales are available here).
As this is so, it is a great place to both buy gardening goods and check out, though if I had some advice for Walmart, it would be to better staff the indoor registers and install scales - you don't need to put scales outside, but it's a realistic request. Hope this helps! 🌻 -
Friendly helpful people. Landscaped beautifully.

Great selection of bamboo and other plants. Lovely to just walk around and enjoy. Good prices too.

Phenomenal plants! Passionate people! Perfect place ... For bamboo art plants decorating indoor and out. I spent way to much.
-
Great place to find all types of bamboo.

Terry! Helped us out so much today in the hot sun to get exactly what we needed for our home and "proxy war" with the neighbor. Thanks so much Terry!

Very pleasant and helpful! Just wish they had weekend hours, even if just a 1/2 day on Saturday. Very nice assortment of bamboo.

I just found this place and am absolutely thrilled by the variety, the presentation, and the health of the plantings. I may never go back to Home Depot, and I used to live there!

It’s like a bamboo sanctuary. So peaceful and beautiful 💚

Love this place. They installed a wall of bamboo for us as a backdrop for our pool. And they always do a fantastic job when they come out to maintain it.
-
Amazing place and great service!!! I will be back but with a chaperone😉 Great selection of exotic plants to add to our landscape….not the Home Depot variety!

I visited this place in March 2016. The description of this place needs to be updated and the customer service needs to be improved. I was the only person there and still the man was too busy to help me. When I asked for certain bamboo he pointed towards the general direction or told me they don't have it. I ended up buying my bamboo at a different nursery.

The place is beautiful, it's a shame the woman from the office inside was not friendly at all when I asked her about some plants, it seems that I bothered her or she wasn't having a good day, luckily a very kind man helped me

Very happy with our purchase of 2 flame thrower palms, cat palm, & hohenbergia bromeliad. We don’t have tropical palm nurseries in Daytona, so when visiting Clearwater it’s a MUST to go see Island Bamboo. We will be visiting again SOON!
-
Amazing varieties of bamboo & other tropical plants. Delaney was very knowledgeable & helpful. Beautiful nursery!! Will be going back to purchase from them soon.
-
Beautiful bamboo. Great customer service! Best nursery in allll of Pinellas and surrounding counties. Worth the drive. Come check it out and support local businesses.
-
I went in to buy bamboo, they didn't have what I wanted in the size I wanted. I ask what else they. The answer "we have over 40 species of bamboo what do you want?" I already said size. The person was not interested in helping me find a replacement. Customer service ZERO!

I felt they were a bit over priced. A 15 gal. Pot with one scrawny cane was $60.00.
They need more inventory and better quality trees.
