BEWARE OF THIEVES IN THE NIGHT this mr. Madden came to our home after telling us that he would come out and look at our trees but if a diagnosis and or treatment was necessary the charge would be 150.00. He came out for no more than ten minutes and said they looked good and asked for $150.00. When we said we were not aware that a cursory look and approval would be full price this man said he had explained himself on the phone. Who does this tree guy think he is? I can go to my Dr. , get diagnosed and a script for less than that. I am telling anyone reading this use another professional service and NOT this company. BEWARE!!!

Recently used Coastal Tree to trim a large street tree, remove a tree and grind some roots and stumps. They trimmed two big oak trees and a palm tree on my back yard. The crew of 5-6 worked very efficiently and did a very good job in about 3h. They cleaned very well around the working area and even they rake the lawn to remove loose leaves and small branches.

Used this company to remove pine trees from around our home. Jim was always very professional and easy to communicate with. His crew completed the job prior to Hurricane Irma hitting last year. He saved our house from suffering a lot of damage because of the trees. It did take a while for stump grinding to be completed, but was understandable due to the damage in the area from the storm. I would recommend and use this company again.

They are more than just cleaning up trees, which they do very well. They are arborists who can guide and direct for the lifetime of the trees. Where most tree services are gunning for the big money of cutting trees down, they are about what is best for the trees and the owners equally. All of my neighbors in Deerwood rely on them.

We received excellent service from Coastal Tree Service this month (March 2021). The company is owned by a fully Certified Arborist (James Madden). The company is very efficiently run, the work was completed exactly as planned, and the billing process was well automated for our convenience. The Coastal on site crew were well trained and all had many years of experience. The job consisted of trimming a very large row of Viburnum shrubs from 20 feet tall to 12 feet tall. They used the right heavy equipment for the job and they hauled away all the cuttings. We couldn't be more pleased with the work and we will use this firm again on other occasions to be sure. I am happy to recommend Coastal Tree Service to my friends and neighbors. REH

From beginning to end we were pleased with James and his team. They were reasonably priced and professional. They took a large Oak tree down from our enclosed backyard, ground the stump, removed the debris and you would never know there ever was a tree. We would 100% recommend Coastal Tree Service.

James Madden is a Certified Arborist and is professional, knowledgeable and caring. He gave me some extra "tips" that will now enable us to better take care of our trees. With his 30 years experience and his team, Todd and Robert (who have been with James for 20 years), I was more than happy with the process from beginning to end. James evaluated my large oak tree and we discussed just what I wanted to accomplish with the trimming of my tree. Todd and Robert spent an hour trimming my tree. They also were professional and methodical about making sure they trimmed by tree so it would look the best! They were very communicative and I was very pleased with the end result! Plus they cleaned up so well that when my husband came home he was shocked that Coastal came and went since there were no signs of them being there...except the tree looked way better. I would definitely use them again!

I used Coastal Tree Service to take down a few hazardous trees for me (one very large water oak). James provided a really detailed assessment of the trees and the crew was extremely professional, on time, and followed through on all of the details without any issues. They have tree removal down to a science, and at a fair price. They also took great care to not cause excess damage to my lawn with both the removal and stump grinding, which I appreciate. I have used Coastal Tree Service on two occasions for tree removal. In both cases the trees to be removed were over 60 ft high and very close to my house. They did a fantastic job. These trees were in difficult locations and the professionals at Coastal Tree came up with a plan and safely got three giant pine trees down. It was just in time before TS Nicole comes through which would have definitely put my house and family at risk. They were fast, professional and a polite crew and Mr Madden is well known in Cypress Creek in Sawgrass. I continue to recommend his company if you need any tree removal services!
