Once again - we are incredibly happy with the work done by Coastal Tree Service! James Madden (Certified Arborist) came to check my trees and told me not to worry about my Oaks - they were fine, BUT.....there was one tree on our property that bothered him - and he showed me why. He encouraged me to take the tree down before hurricanes came near - and we did. He was right. The tree was rotted through on the inside and most probably would have snapped. James is always so eithical and I value his expertise. And his team is amazing! Matt works hard to see that all the work is done correctly and that everything is cleaned up. This time all work was done and all logs and tree parts were gone the same day. I feel so fortunate to work with Coastal Tree!

James is great. He treated our oak prior to us owning our home (after a lightning strike). When I bought the home, he came out for a free evaluation to tell us it was fine and in no danger of falling.

Fast forward 7 years, and our adjacent pine tree is hit by lightning...along with a palm. He came out to provide a free evaluation and estimate.

James is not the cheapest but he does work safely, carefully, and the right way. Another reputable company estimated our project for less, and James matched that estimate. I gave him that chance because he's also been so responsive, helpful, and informative. He didn't let me down!

My mom even came by to check-in while I was at work, and she is very particular. She was impressed by the quality of the crew, the equipment, and the care they were taking not only on my property, but concerning neighborhood traffic. (They needed a crane to lift out the 2 trees as 1 was over 100' tall and went through the canopy of other trees, near the street and my house and a light pole!)

They did forget to grind a stump and some roots we'd discussed, but they came out the next day to make it right.

Aside from some minor cleanup and maybe shaping another tree a bit more in the future, Coastal did a great job.

I am very grateful for James's expertise, advice, responsiveness, thoroughness, flexibility, patience, professionalism, reliability, value, and just plane niceness. He's not going to talk down to you or try to sell you anything, but rather, his evaluations are trustworthy.

I can't begin to tell you what a great experience I have with Coastal Tree Service. I put in a request for a quote online and got a call within 20 min. We had one tree go down during IAN. Figuring all tree companies were busy with the storm, I was surprised to even get a call back.

Once I did, they said they were around the corner and would be there in 5 min. They showed up in 3. James was very professional and give me a reasonable quote. We agreed to the job and within 10 min he had a crew of 4 other people. They removed the 25 ft Oak tree carefully saving my mailboxes. (cost of $400 if I lost them). They blew the leaves, raked and were out in 30 min. 20 min later, the guy came by to grind the stump and did a great job. A few days later as promised, the other team came and cleared the limbs, blew the sidewalk and the place was perfect.

I would recommend Coastal to anyone who asked about a tree company. They had the equipment, professionalism and commitment to make a difficult situation for me perfect.

I am so impressed with this company. They are so professional and responsive. Earlier this year they pruned my lemon tree and did a deep root fertilizer treatment. The tree has never looked better. I now have a dozen or more tiny lemons sprouting out - from a tree I was afraid I would lose! Then yesterday, they trimmed my palm trees. They did a quick, thorough job and a flawless cleanup. From the lady that happily answers the phone, to James and his crew, all very friendly and professional. Had 3 large trees removed that were next to my garage with roots starting to interfere with the foundation. The crew worked very well together and each one knew what the other one was doing. Very well orchestrated! Each saw cut thought out and all safety precautions taken. Two other large trees had their overhanging branches trimmed. As soon as they had the branches and trunks loaded on their truck, the man with the stump grinder came in and took the stumps down well below ground level, Very impressed with their workmanship and safety concerns my garage as well as themselves. Will be definitely be using James and his company again. Thanks you!

James and the crew were excellent! Costal trimmed a large oak tree that had braches near our roof. The price agreed to was great! The service, attention to detail and cleanup was hands down the best we have had. Would highly reccomend Coastal to anyone who wants a great job done at a fantastic price with no surprises!

Vie is responsive, capable and thoroughly professional. We have relied on them for a variety of services, including housekeeping, landscaping, home watch, home repair and arranging for and overseeing the design and construction of a master bedroom and bathroom which turned out exactly how we wanted them. We recommend them highly!

Working with John and his team at Vie Homes Services was an absolute DREAM! I used them to renovate my entire home and the process from the drawings to the finished product was one of the BEST professional experiences that I have ever had the pleasure of working on.
