I was very impressed with Excel electric, specifically David Who came to my home for the service. He was professional, pleasant, knowledgeable and very helpful. He accomplished the work in a timely manner being careful not to leave a mess where he was working and just overall excellent. In the future I will request David as my serviceman! It was refreshing to have a company that cares about their employees, and strives to make sure you reap the benefits as the customer.

Electric work was done very well. Tech who came out restored the job site. Tech was very professional and easy to talk to. Estimate was right on for the time. Gave 4 due to price factor. I was charged 151$ for an hours worth of work and very little supplies. I needed the work done at that moment so I gave them the job.

Excel Electric is my new first-choice for all my electrical work. They've installed several LED can-lights, a bathroom vent-fan, and replaced a faulty smoke alarm. They provided fair estimates and pricing for each job. Brian and Freddy were both very professional. They arrived each time on-time as scheduled, performed the work quickly, cleaned up, then provided an email invoice quickly once paid. Call Excel if you want great service!

I have had an excellent experience with Excel Electric. The work was done on time & was clean and a neat install. The workers were all friendly and polite. The workers were quick to go out of their way to see that everything I wanted was handled & done promptly. I would strongly recommend Excel Electric for any electrical needs or projects.

Called them,made a appointment and as stated by dispatcher the technician will come,analyze the problem and give a estimate freely and there will be no charge if services are declined. My technician John B came at my desired time,assessed the work to be done and gave me an exact quote. John was knowledgeable, neat and thorough, a asset to this company and because of him i wouldn't hesitate to call this company again for any electrical needs.
After I posted this review I received an itemized email receipt and to my surprise I noticed a $49 Dispatcher fee. It won't effect my review concerning the workmanship and the technician but why wasn't this brought to my attention. The initial call to make my appointment everything but that fee was stated to me on what to expect. Won't use again because of that sneaky move.

This Company is amazing! They are pleasant, efficient, timely and reasonable. From the very first time I called them I felt like I had been a long term customer. They come prepared, they know what has to be done, they have a plan in place, the quality of the work is excellent and the person, Karen, who answers the phone is very friendly, she knows what’s going on, I would not ever consider using another electrician.

We bought a 9 year old home that we really loved except it had some wiring "issues" The prior owner had done a few things and ran a few wires not exactly up to code and not awful--just hard to figure where some of the wall switches went, etc. The guys at Excel said they were coming, came and did pretty much what they said they would do for the price they said they would charge. Excellent service and new friends at the same time.
We will use them again with no hesitation

I have used Excel Electric for all of the indoor wiring in my house renovation as well as for my new outdoor lighting. In all instances, they were easy to schedule, easy to work with, and made excellent suggestions. They were always on time and their workmen are of the highest quality. I cannot think of one instance in which they did not exceed my expectations. I highly recommend them

Needed them to fix issues that were preventing an HVAC permit from passing inspection due to improper work from another Electrician who stopped answering my phone calls..

Excel was not the most economical option however they did extend a much needed and appreciated price discount and they absolutely score a 10/10
for customer service, timeliness, and professionalism. If quality and time are important for you, I would call them every time.

This is my 2nd time using this company. John B & his assistant arrived on time, were professional and courteous and got the job done in a timely manner. This job required scaffolding and they immediately got to work to get the job done. They were respectful of my home and cleaned up after themselves. I will definitely be calling Excel Electric for any future electrical needs that we have. Great job!

Exorbitant prices. One visit to flip-on a breaker, less than 10 minutes, was charged $360.00!
Prices were on the high side on two previous service visits, but the quality of service was exceptional. Five-star workmanship, 2 star prices.

Following a home inspection it was determined that some strands of aluminum wire needed to be replaced with copper wire for closing purposes. After a recommendation, we contacted Excel Electric LLC for an estimate. The man giving the estimate, Bud, called prior and arrived on time. He was very knowledgeable and explained precisely what repairs were needed. Knowing we were under time constraints due to a closing date, Bud scheduled us for the work in less than a week. The work was performed by Excel electricians Joel and Austin, who called prior and arrived on time. Joel explained the work to be performed, and the pair worked diligently, quickly and quietly. They took the time to sweep any mess they made, and showed us their work upon completion, and thanked us for our business.The estimate matched the final bill, and the price was extremely fair. We will not hesitate to contact Excel Electric for any future electrical work.

Good service, BUT outrageous prices!!! Cost $300.00 to just evaluate problem, then another almost $300.00 because my dishwasher had burnt one of the electrical outlets. Charged almost $300.00 to replace the outlet and put a new cord on my dishwasher! Allmost $300 for 2everyday parts is ridiculous along with $300.00 just to walk in my house. The dishwasher cost a little more than that. Check around and go thru their charges 1st. My neighbor recommended them, but a few weeks later, they told me they gave me the wrong company and had never used Excel.
In addition to the above post and Excel's response, had I called another company after he found the problem i would still have been out the charge to find the problem. I had no idea the parts were going to cost so
much until he gave me the final charge. I was not informed about the parts cost before he got them and put them in. Had I known the cost of parts before he replaced them, I may have stopped the job and contacted another company.

Installed a chandelier and new flood light (which the old one was apparently a fire hazard, so glad we did this). Work was done promptly, well, and on average cost. There's a reason Excel is rated so highly. It shows in the quality work.

Joel and Eric were both extremely patient, knowledgeable and professional. They installed 9 fixtures, including several intricate lighting fixtures and made sure that we were happy with how everything looked. We highly recommend this company to anyone who needs electrical work in their home.

The only electrician that answered my calls and messages the day after Milton hit.

Our generator went on and off and petered out on the Wednesday night. We called two companies at 2am (and online) Generac and RackElectric. While they took our info, I never got a call back from Generac, and I didn't hear from Rack Electric til Saturday. We also had a service contract for a year from Rack Electric, and they moved the pre-hurricane season appt 3 times and never showed up once.

Compare to Jeff from Excel Electric:
I called at 12pm on the Thursday, got an appointment for Friday at noon. Jeff called back at 3pm Thursday and asked if we had power. I said no, and he was at our house by 330pm and we had power by 5pm. That is service, and that is caring. We saved a whole fridge full of food, and were able to relax that evening.

Mark installed a electric generator for me. I am very impressed by Mark. He is very friendly, easy to deal with, knowledgeable, accommodating, honest and professional. I would not hesitate to let him handle the most complicated and involved electric work for me. He is the Best.
Excel Electric was also great in keeping me informed of work schedule and worked closely and flawlessly with me. Their charges were fair and competitive and the manner in which job was handled was stress free, highly recommended.

They maintain my generator. On a regular schedule for three years now. Everyone that has been out here is terrific. I just had Victor service the generator and had to replace a gas pipe and put in a flex hose to the generator. Very attentive to details and excellent customer service and very happy with everyone at this company including Karen, customer service.

My experience with Shane at Excel was excellent. He called to let me know when he was coming, showed up promptly and got right to work. He checked everything thoroughly, explained my issue, offered solutions and was very courteous. I would recommend this company and will definitely use them again if necessary. I even received a magnet with their info for my fridge.

I was very impressed by the service from this company and Sean! He was on time for the appointments to give me a quote and to for the install! It was very easy to schedule the install time and even when I had to reschedule it was simple.

When Sean provided the estimate, he explained what he was going to do and the break down of the estimate. He let me know ahead of time that there would be holes in my wall where he needed to run the electrical which I expected, but I appreciated his honesty! Even though there were holes in my wall when he was done, they were minimal, I was expecting something much worse for the work he needed to do.

For the installation, he covered my floor and counter top minimizing the mess from the work and before he left any debris there was cleaned up!

I would highly recommend Sean! I have a few more projects I need done and I am absolutely going to be hiring Sean! Great job!
